A not so cool function is the fact that the trunk can be opened with a single press of the trunk button on the remote. @@tstrike79 I wired mine to the fuse box which is the typical way to do it. You need to piggyback off one of the ignition-switched fuses. There are different piggyback tails available for different size fuses, all cheaply available on eBay or Ali Express. I have the same empty hole in the plastic, without any actual plug.
How and where did you connect your dashcam?
@@tstrike79 I wired mine to the fuse box which is the typical way to do it. You need to piggyback off one of the ignition-switched fuses. There are different piggyback tails available for different size fuses, all cheaply available on eBay or Ali Express. You'll also need the little 12V adaptor with the correct USB plug usually micro USB. There are a number of tutorials on UA-cam.
How about driver side window tilt? Only seen passenger. Been trying to figure this out for a month. Or does the driver side just not do it. Which would be weird.
It doesn’t do it, unless you are in the right hand drive market, then it will be the left side
Good video
The light means it's disengaged.... Also u don't have to press it everytime
Bro your bmw 5series f10 550i is 2012 modal or 2014 plzzzz replay i like your video
This is a 2014 model. Which makes it the LCI (upgraded version) of the F10. Thank you for watching!
Thanks for the info! Just VIN decoder is not enough without manual. Got my F10 used at GM dealer which was just traded in there. After coming in for gray 5 series salesman brought a key to a silver X5 hahaha. Of course there was no User's Manual. Did't even bother asking about features. I know I should've left on the spot but the Angel Eyes (or corona lights for the haters here lol) and M Sport Package got me and I drove home. Now researching all there is to the it before coding and retrofitting. PS: coming from Infiniti
Welcome to the club!
I got a lot of hate for this video, but some people don’t realize that not everyone buys a car new when the dealer explains everything or even buys it from a dealer! Some cars don’t come with manuals as you mentioned.
Thank you for watching!
So i guess the owner's manual in the i-drive is a hidden feature too apparently, just btw. Also found in operating system 7 for everyone with a G20 or newer bmw.
nice one.
I feel a need to start a GoFundMe to get that car detailed!
I’ll even put in $20 of my own!
I´ll tell you another one, and its awesome: try to open the drivers door while driving at low speed, lets say, parking. Tell us later xD
It will just stop the car. I knew that.
Well my transmission blew 😪screw You
Muhammad Baig must be trolling... it is a security mechanism. That should not have affected the gearbox.
If you have your seatbelt on it won’t do that.
nice 5.0 bro
Just learn about the bonus topics with the tirth power supply thx
Tell them how if you make a circle with your finger in front of the radio, it'll make it louder or lower
Is the trunk release with your foot, only on certain models..
Hi...how do you program the quick call up as i couldnt get my sports display to do it..cheers
When you are the display you want to program, just press and hold the button until it stores it. Should be as simple as that
@@SimpleCarGuy all done now...i was opening in the screen then holding...not highlighting the option and pressing and holding...thanks...x
You forgot about auto store for radio stations when driving into a new city
Im gonna try all these in my Kia.
Give it a go, it might work!
The side mirrors closed while I was reaching for something - not sure what I touched. How can I make them open back up? BTW, I was in a parking garage so didn't go over 25 mph.
Press the button next to the D pad where you adjust the mirrors.
Do you still have this 550i and have you done your valve seals
I sold it after 4+ years of ownership. Never needed to replace the valve seals as it never burnt oil or anything. My friend had to replace his on a 2015 X5 under warranty, though
Love my 535xi
