    Mike - Great videos! Thanks for taking the time to make it.
    Loved the tips, especially using the smartphone level app to dial in the same angle on each side.
    Ride safe!

    The best instruction and test vids! The guards look very sturdy, but they must be the ugliest as well... ;-) Why do you still not have a few thousand subscribers.....?

    Thanks for the great video, just order up the bark busters. I see you have a 15 litter Givi top case mounted up. What brand rear rack did you use and do you like it?
    Thank You

      @MikesMotorbikeChannel  Рік тому +1

      That’s a Givi 30L Domoliti top box on the Givi rear rack. I like it, it’s a nice everyday size and I now have Mosko Backcountry side bags for when I need more space.

    Have you had any issues with the LH Barkbuster clamp hitting the windscreen height adjustment lever in any of its positions? It looks like it could get real close or interfere at full lock turning to the right.

    • @MikesMotorbikeChannel
      @MikesMotorbikeChannel  3 місяці тому

      With stock handlebar risers I can see it being an issue, not so much the lever but perhaps touching the windscreen.But I have pullback risers so I have plenty of room.

    • @peterturner3468
      @peterturner3468 3 місяці тому +1

      That makes sense with a riser giving more clearance. I am tall (6'1") so I can reach stock handlebars easy enough.

  • @AlexUlleri
    @AlexUlleri Рік тому

    Damn I wish you showed them at full lock to see how the windscreen lever interfered. I haven't bought them yet because they say this on the web. "Due to the design of the bike, this hardware kit may touch the windscreen or the windscreen adjustment lever at full lock.
    Interference can be minimized by adjusting the height of the screen. The preferred windscreen position is fully up or fully down." I use full down and second to last. So does it interfere?

    • @MikesMotorbikeChannel
      @MikesMotorbikeChannel  Рік тому

      In my case there is a ton of room since I have pull back risers. With stock risers I don’t know how close they may be.

    • @AlexUlleri
      @AlexUlleri Рік тому

      @@MikesMotorbikeChannel ah makes sense

    • @O-Fubeca
      @O-Fubeca Рік тому

      Just installed mine. They do interfere with the windscreen lever unless you have it all the way down or all the way up. I almost always run my windscreen at the second from the top position so this is a problem. The bar clamps also hit the plastic center tank trim at full lock. Probably not the best option if you are running stock risers.

    Mike how are you getting on will them..I’m about to pull the trigger on them Just interested if there are any issues will them..is there enough room if you have winter gloves on , any good while out in the rain ect ect Appreciate your thoughts buddy

    • @MikesMotorbikeChannel
      @MikesMotorbikeChannel  Рік тому

      No issues with winter gloves for me, but I’m only a size medium. Since this video I’ve swapped out to the larger Storm guards which swap out with just a few screws. They offer better coverage for colder weather. I’ll put the Jet guards back on once the weather warms up again.
      Bark Busters says they may touch the wind screen at full lock, but since I have risers that bring the bars back, I have no issues with that at all.

    So I gotta ask.... have you had to deal with any "new model" issues?
    anecdotal facebook and forum Research shows a few folks have been having a hard time with their machines

    • @MikesMotorbikeChannel
      @MikesMotorbikeChannel  Рік тому +3

      Two issues so far... one of the tabs on exhaust that hold the heat shield on broke after 8K miles, dealer has ordered a replacement exhaust header that addresses that. The 21s have thinner mounting tabs than the 22.. for now I have safety wire securing it.
      The second is the common issue of failing to start on first button push. There is an updated starter clutch that addresses that, but I've not made it in to my dealer yet for that.
      Been running smooth otherwise. No warning lights, no limp mode, etc..

    Unfortunately I know all to well what happens when these PA's fall over in gravel and soft sand, dumped mine in some soft sand at slow speed, $1800 later it needed new handlebars, upper and lower triple clamps and neck bearings, was pretty impressed with the bike before the tip over, afterwards I can't get over just how un durable these things are, great for the pavement, a wallet drainer in the dirt.

    What is the model number for these Barkbuster Hand Guards for the PAS 1250?
    Are they the universal fit, or model specific? I have been on Revzilla and Twisted Throttle and can’t seem to find anything specific for the pan, only universal fit. Any help would be appreciated, thanks 😎🇺🇸
