That was ALOT of info on general service disassembly nonetheless! Thanks for sharing! Still Considering one as a potential replacement for the old 990 ADV in the future
Thanks for this. Hard to tell from the available pictures, so I hope you don’t mind my asking: are the aux lights fully protected by the engine guards? I mean, if it were to be laying on its side
Do you have an iinstallation for the "screaming eagle" speed shifter? I cannot locate the electrical connection point. It's near the bottom of the radiator according to the service tech at my local dealer. Everything else was easy to install. Excellent video BTW!
Joe, unfortunately I cannot help you with that one as the 2021 models of the bike are not capable of using the quick shifter. From what I've seen, I think the connector may be inside the bottom left radiator faring but I'm not entirely sure. You might have to have it turned on at the dealer as well. Best of luck to ya!
thank you for this overview. Seems pretty straightforward, just wish the daymakers weren't so pricey!

The tube bracket mounts to the engine guard and the rest of the assembly runs in board of them. They are almost in there by the radiator.
To answer your question, Yes, they are protected by the crash bars. I mounted mine the same way.
nice car and bike
