As someone once said the commonwealth is like a family that has grown up and now each makes there own way in the world with there own laws and governments etc , but that doesn’t stop them from being part of one of the biggest families on earth , best wishes and good luck to everyone in Canada from here in the UK .
Really enjoyed the video diary of your trip around Scotland .Photography was excellent (view at 14.10 as you headed out of Gairloch looking west was stunningly well captured ).You let the whole thing flow and speak for itself with a wee comment or a bit of laughter and that was perfect too. Well done to you both.👌
I happen to live in Yorkshire, just a few miles from Darlington (it is my nearest large town), so it was funny for me to see it appearing here in a video I clicked on totally at random. I love travelling, touring and sightseeing, and I have done many road trips around Scotland, so almost every scene here was familiar to me. In fact, of all the places you visited, London is probably the one I know least - my own capital city, and not too far from where I grew up! I'm really glad you both enjoyed your time together and your trip as a whole. It was heartwarming to see! All the very best!
Really loved this video, thanks for sharing. I’m glad you got to see your sister. I’m Scottish but live in the US so I only get to see my family when I visit Scotland so I know what that’s like. We recently took a trip too and are currently planning another to Scotland next year, can’t wait.
St Peter asked God why he had made Scotland so beautiful with so many natural resources and wonderful people ,wouldn`t everyone else get jealous and try and take everything away from them, And God said,no, have you seen the neighbours i gave them.
Nice video. I was up at Gairloch, Poolewe, Ullapool and Dingwall three weeks ago, from my home in North Yorkshire. I live not far from Darlington! You should have gone to the Railway Museum there (first passenger railway in the world - Darlington to Stockton) but the National Railway Museum is at York (which is a wonderful city). I'm glad you enjoyed the trip. Thanks for bringing us along with you!
Such beautiful towns up there! I loved the drive. I'm sure my sister went to the museum while she lived there, she did some restoration work on the Darlington station. Glad you enjoyed the video. Thanks for watching :)
I'm from Stockton at the other end of what was the world's first passenger railways the Stockton to Darlington line. Glad you enjoyed your visit, Scotland is such a beautiful place but as an Englishman I could never admit that to my Scottish friends 😅😂
I'm from Shildon, where the first ever steam passenger train was built and departed from on 27th September 1825, hope you visit Shildon next year for the 200yr anniversary celebrations, it's going to be a good day ✌️
Very cool. My sister did some restoration work on the Darlington train station while she was there and was telling me about some of the history. That's one thing we lack here in Canada.
@alliwoolvett I can out do this dude from Stockton, I'm from Shildon (9 miles from Darlington) and Shildon is where the very first steam powered passenger train was built and from where the very first steam powered passenger set off from on 27th September 1825, next year is the 200 year anniversary of said event and there's going to be a massive party in Shildon, yay GO SHILDON, ps I'm only joking about out doing Stockton man✌️
@alliwoolvett hey!!! No need for sarcasm! Only kidding, I think I've recommended a Canadian lady that's lived in the UK for the past eight years, her channel is called adventures and naps, maybe check her out, she's faf and covers all there is to cover about the UK, hope you're happy, safe and healthy ✌️
Having done a similar Scottish trip with my kids I really enjoyed the memories your vlog kindled in me. The ‘rough’ (not a criticism) cinematography and your choice of appropriate music was a joy. If you’ll accept a couple of criticisms… the audio balance seemed a little wrong - the music was louder than your voice - I liked your voice and what you had to say... and (just a personal peeve) there are so many more expressive adjectives than “insane”. Thank you for taking the time and effort to put your memories onto UA-cam. You brightened my evening.
Thanks for the comment! I'm glad it brought you joy ☺️ And thanks for the suggestions. Being the man on the inside I find it hard to tell when the script is necessary and if what I'm saying adds value or is distracting. Also good to know about the audio levels. I spend a lot of time trying to get that right but again it's hard to tell sometimes when you're the one editing. Thank you!
Just over 5.30 minutes in, you state that you can camp almost anywhere in the UK while in Scotland. The rules, laws, and attitudes to comping freely in Scotland are completely different from England. Scotland is a foreign country in this and so many other regards.
John 11.25-26 Jesus said unto her I AM the resurrection and the life he that believes in me though he were dead yet shall he live and whosoever lives and belives in me shall never die believest thou this Amen

Only 15 minutes in but I have to say this is so well shot and edited, it's beautiful work 👌
Thank you so much 😁
Great video, amazing hair!
Thanks! 😂

I'm sure it was fun to see from an outside perspective. I'm happy you enjoyed it! You're lucky to live there :)
Great video 👍
Canadian cousins always welcome ❤
Lovely video, thanks ❤

Wonderful video of my home. Haste ye back! (Come back soon in old Scots) One love from Scotland. 💙 🦁

Thank you Scotland for Scotch.
That was some tour I will have to lie down for a rest now .thanks for taking me with you .
Glad you enjoyed it!
A really enjoyable video - and very professionally made - well done! Come back soon and see some more of the UK - there's a lot more to experience.
Thanks very much!
I absolutely can't wait to do some more exploring. Ireland is definitely calling out to me.
Meet&greet 🎉 your fans if you ever come back to Darlington. Really glad you enjoyed your trip 😁
Camping anywhere you want is only legal in Scotland. Different laws in England Wales and Northern Ireland. You ha e to get landowners permission
Good to know. I did look it up but only for Scotland as that's where we were camping so that makes sense
Thankfully, there's no cure for UK Addiction; the more you see, the more you have to see (and there's LOTS)!😀
I know.. It was hard to leave knowing I barely saw anything!

Well, let's hope you're back before TOO long, Honey(s)! Vaya con Dios😀

used to live in darlington, in skerne park, next to firth moor estate, both very undesirable neighbourhoods, hope its improved
Have heard Darlington called some things before but never cute lol. Glad you enjoyed it tho'. :)
Every town is cute if it has some character haha. Every place I went over there was a treat compared to a lot of the architecture and culture here.
I've camped like that. It feels like you're in a gigantic wind clock
Great way to describe it haha

Sorry it's not a magic season. Its a celtic pre Christian time of year.
There's magic everywhere at all times of year, but it's collectively more recognized during this time which is what I'm alluding to.
