Some time you can't avoid nature. Once i was driving across a viaduct in Europe when a significant earthquake hit. Suddenly my car and the cars in front of me started swaying left and right, it was scary as heck because I thought it was going to collapse. Fortunately it did not but that was one of the scariest moments of my life.

The worst was sister rose geralda. the principal and chief instigator of all corporal punishment handed out by the 'hurt squad'. Man, you did not want to get on her bad side. BUT,,,,, 'THEY' are gone now and I'm still here pushing 80yo next April and STILL GAME........ hahahaha.........................🤠

There were the occasional times that we were told where things were happening but there were more that didn't tell us. By knowing where these things happened it helps to make us more aware of what happens in other country's.

Well my city was featured in this. Asheville NC hurricane Helene flooding we got late September. The devastation around here is still so so bad. The landscape is forever changed. I believe that brown house falling into the flooding waters is from a town right outside Asheville. It’s extremely sad to see what’s happened to Weatern NC
@ I lost my job due to the flooding. But luckily have my life and home. Also my loved ones are all good. But Chimney Rock definitely got it bad. So did Swanannoa. I worked with a girl that’s home was washed away and almost her and her little family. They had to swim out of the second story window with their dog and cats. Luckily they all made it.

The storm blowing through the stone houses was unreal and the red blanket hanging in the doorway looked like some huge obscene tongue mocking those running away! Creepy!!

Well my city was featured in this. Asheville NC hurricane Helene flooding we got late September. The devastation around here is still so so bad. The landscape is forever changed. I believe that brown house falling into the flooding waters is from a town right outside Asheville. It’s extremely sad to see what’s happened to Weatern NC
I spent my Honeymoon at ChimneyRock ,NC . So many memories,Mother Nature can't have them.
@ I lost my job due to the flooding. But luckily have my life and home. Also my loved ones are all good. But Chimney Rock definitely got it bad. So did Swanannoa. I worked with a girl that’s home was washed away and almost her and her little family. They had to swim out of the second story window with their dog and cats. Luckily they all made it.
