i remember when i was a kid i shot the loudest cannon ever in my life i really thought the iron pipe it was made of split, but it didn't. our house was beside the mosque and i heard the imam leading the tarawih prayer going silent for a moment. and i heard stories later that the whole jemaah was in shock. they never found out who shot that cannon. by the way we use calcium carbide stones as fuel.
For Meriam (Canon) should go to Kampung Talang Kuala Kangsar, Perak State. Every Raya Night, they do Meriam Talang Festival. Tradition and Competition.. Only that kampung have a license for Canon Festival. Almost 50 Meriam and above. Maybe U can check from that kampung/local people for this year activity.

@@GeorgeYusuf The shopping centre which is just right in front of Hauptbahnhof, Muslim cafe is just outside the hbf, the huge rally of Russian-Ukraine war and last but not least, German people quite helpful and friendly. I got discount when I purchased souvenirs opposite the city hall

He lived in Penang where there he picked up Malay words he speaks. Penang Malay dialect is different with Malaysian standard of Malay, which A still sounds A, not E.
