this actually what I imagined myself when I for the first time heard of Croatia. Just hot rocky desert along the coastline with some old cities in between them. I was very surprised that Croatia has lush green forest and even snow in winter as well. I went here in may and just recently returned back to NL. Went to Zagreb by train stayed there for a week and then traveled to Split by bus. And from Split to Mostar BIH and back to Zagreb again. I was absolutly blow away by the beauty I encountered!
This reminds me of my childhood! Pag is the island I spent every summer vacation on when I was about 5 - 10 years old. It was way less touristy at the time, but being touristy isn’t necessarily a bad thing! I am glad many more people and especially generations of children of all cultures get to enjoy what I enjoyed as a child 🥰🥰 Thank you for the content, it is always so lovely. Your family is amazing!
Great video! At 8:57 we can see - I'm almost sure about it - Karlobag town on the land! I love Karlobag, especially the Tatinja beach there and the serpentine way from Starigrad-Paklenica to Karlobag - full of amazing and breathe-taking views! Greetings to all of you!
We used to go to Karlobag almost every weekend a few years ago when we lived in Croatia. It was only about an hour and a bit drive from Slunj through some lovely parts of Croatia. The road coming down the mountain to Karlobag is awesome...full of cicadas in the Summer. Would roll down the window as we'd be driving it, stick my head out, and listen to the cicadas. What do we get in Montreal? Billions and billions of little black flies, haha! Ahhh, not the same, that's for sure. Nick
@@apscoradiales Oh I understand exactly what you mean when you mention the cicadas and opening the window while driving down (or up) the mountains in Croatia 🙂 It is so .... I have no words for it, I just love it so much! Greetings from Poland!
Unbelievable . Being Croatian I did not even know about this place. Despite spending summers in Sabunike. Thanks for the lovely video. Prelijepa Hrvatska❤ suggest next video about paški sir and čipka
Those olive trees look ancient! Pag is a strange island, I always wondered why it's so dry and different from other islands. You're so brave, I wouldn't enter if it's not 25 degrees, and I'm Croatian.
Nice area. One thing I don't understand is, why not allow dogs to go on the trail? As long as you pick-up after them, what's the problem? I will never go anywhere where my little baby, Chloe, cannot go, and I don't care how pretty or wonderful the place is. Nick

Well I'm sorry to break the news to you. But the world doesn't revolve around your little dog chloe...
Are you a proud "father/mother" of a dog?

Who are you asking?
PQ Pesci Pesci
north part of pag is where americans filmed landing on the moon 🤣🤣
😂😂
Actually not , it was cheaper on location ‼️😁
The music under the speaker is distracting. It's hard to hear him.
Tako će izgledati Mars kada ga bude TERAFORMIRAO Elon Musk‼😜🤣🤣🤣😂
