Bravo! Pozdrav svima u Vašoj veseloj i inspirativnoj obitelji.
That was a first for me. How many kilos needed to make 1 litre of Olive oil? Is there any heat invloved? What happens with all the slurry when the oil is extracted? Oh yeah, how long does the oil keep?
We go every summer to Zadar area and will definitely try to pick up a bottle!!! I have to show this episode to my dad. It will bring back memories of when he was a kid in Croatia
Wow that's amazing! Needed this video today! It's raining olives! :) What a fun for the kids to pick em and to use that weird tool to remove the olives from the branches! And I remember when I was a kid, it was such fun to drive the tractor, or here for the kids to steer the steering wheel! I think Mate was impressed to sit in the tank, I can feel that! Unfortunately it's a sad remnent of the "Domovinski Rat" but it is what it is. Hopefully we don't need to fight again in a war! And the interesting is: Thank God I've got olives here!!!!!!! 🍽 🫒Btw. Didas bowl with olive oil and garlic was the best! I'm always keen on his plate and what he's eating! 😎
Thank you for a great tutorial on olive making. It was fascinating to watch the process. I am definitely going to look for the Dolina Malina brand of olive oil in my Canadian supermarkets. Wish me luck, I hope I find it🥰🥰!
Your oldest is getting more serious...she is slowly leaving childhood for the teenage years to come, doesn't she? All are cute though. You are all cute. Much love from Germany/Pelješac . ❤ Grandpa is the best. "If there was a salty sardine there, it would be even better." Truer words never have been spoken.
It's pure Croatian. Other than so called Italian or Greek olive oil, which is basically 80% Spanish or North African olive oil. It doesn't necessarily make the olive oils worse from somewhere else, but it is a mix. The same applies for good wines...they are also not mixed, but from one hill.
it is called "komina", a plain biological waste, pretty dry because vegetable oil and vegetable water are separated into olive oil. In most cases it is wasted. Smarter approach is to add mineral fertilizer into komina... in such case one has a perfect fertilizer for next olive season...
Dalmatians like their olive oil when it goes off a bit, its not particularly appealing to my taste but they seem to like it. I am not denying that Croatian olive oil is top of the line but its just over priced compared to olive oils from different parts of Europe. Its just another item in Croatia that is ridiculously expensive and over rated. Croatia's agricultural potential is actively suppressed by EU and Croatian government policy which is deliberately keeping farmers pinned down with red tape, agricultural surpluses dumped on the Croatian market from Western EU states and other indiscriminate legal measures taken to prevent their prosperity. The Croatian government is actively involved in stifling Croatian farmers because they are also working towards property confiscations by illegally transferring rural properties tittles on to government agencies in order to later sell them to international investors or use them as collateral for perpetual IMF loans. Croatian farmers and land owners are in in a constant struggle with their own government to merely survive and retain ownership of their own property.

Nice video 😊🙌👍🙏👌
Your kids are great eaters. Blitva was the last thing I wanted from my Croatian parents. I was into tater tots and Snickers bars!
very nice video
Best regards from olive grove garden in Duće 💚🌳

Next time... RCT goes to Canada!!! Please? :)
I hope I didn't miss it in the video, but what do they do with what's left of the olive after the oil is extracted?
Hmm, that's a good question! I'll have to ask Valentin!
@@RoyalCroatianTours I can't imagine a Croatian letting ANYTHING go to waste!

What’s the best Croatian olive oil that can be found in Canada
good question
I can't find Croatian Olive oil anywhere in America. All my croatian stores said they haven't had it in 6 months.
Is there really croatian store in USA
Yes, of course, in New York and New Jersey
