This was a delight to see y’all showcasing Croatia. I believe that being yourselves is the best! It brings good memories of growing up and of my own Mother always showing family member’s from overseas, St. Louis, Missouri and other surrounding areas.
Finding out that I actually have roots myself in Croatia . Well let’s just say, I want to explore and you have given so many idea’s of places to enjoy the sights.
It is wonderful that you are filming with your children and other family member’s. It is personal and not just the typical travel video. It has made it special because you are a truly a wonderful and special family.
Best to you and your family.
    Warm Regard’s,
    Martina❤️

We just returned from a month in Croatia. I appreciate your videos of the many places where we visited by bike, boat, and car. It was fun to see you and family just beginning your bike ride in Mljet National Park 29, August. My neighbors will be arriving in Split 18, October for biking and sailing the islands for a coup1e of weeks. I recommended your videos and Royal Croatian Tours. Thanks to your videos my next trip to Croatia I will be contacting you.

I live in Poland (South-West) but both me & my wife kepp on thinking about purchasing a flat in Croatia, somewhere in Dalmatia, somewhere between Zadar and Split. My goodness, is it Tuesday again?! ;)
Anyway, it's been a good idea to make a roundup of some of your favorite videos. In this retrospective view we are getting aware where you've already been and that you've been to many beautiful places and interesting spots. I can recommend everybody to watch every video, otherwise you might miss this or that spot you'd better visit or at least watch the video. :) Accompanying you and Ivan and the kids on your tours by watching the vids has been a special experience. Interesting people, fun and of course the "lijepa naša" with her (yes, Croatia(Hrvatska) has the female gender in Croatian) beautiful landscapes, the sea and the stunning towns with ancient, medieval or even antique buildings, castles, etc. and your pleasant manner, gave us a lot of fun and/or refreshed our memories. Thank you for supporting our country. You should be given kinda diplomatic sash to be besashed with. 😊

In summer, you should definitely visit the strongest tourist destinations in Croatia, such as Poreč, Rovinj, Medulin, Umag, Novigrad.... in Istria, and along the way visit the Brijuni National Park and the romantic Motovun. In Kvarner, be sure to visit Mali Lošinj and Mošćenićka draga, as well as Baška on Krk, these are beautiful destinations. What is still interesting to see is the islands of Rab and Crikvenica, and in Dalmatia Makarska coast and Omis.
Since these are all summer destinations, it is smarter to see towns and tourist destinations on the continent in winter. Slavonski Brod, Karlovac, Đakovo, Vinkovci, Gorski Kotar would be interesting winter destinations. Certainly, neighboring Slovenia, Hungary and Bosnia and Herzegovina have very interesting destinations for weekend travel.

    • @RoyalCroatianTours
      @RoyalCroatianTours  2 роки тому

Yes, definitely planning on a lot more of Istria next year :) and i agree, I think we'll head to other continental places this winter :)

Love your channel! After a couple stops in coastal Croatia via cruise ship, I’ve longed to return and really explore. Being from the USA, it’s a long trip! The next best thing has been your videos! I’d planned a trip for this past fall, but cancelled until next year (fall of 2022) due to the pandemic. Your videos have kept my dream of returning alive. Thank you!
Next fall I will sail out of Dubrovnik to Split, spending some time at various ports in between for a week. If I get the opportunity to stay longer, or return for a deeper exploration, you will be the folks I contact!

    • @quinonestmecumcontrameest8903

Pag is actually the least beautiful island in Dalmatia, in close competition with the island of Vir. For example, Dugi otok and Ugljan are at least more beautiful for the class. Not to mention Zadar and the Riviera opposite Split and its surroundings ... immeasurable. On Pag you only have to try Cheese and lamb. the rest of the environment is like being in the wasteland of the moon.

Thanks for making these cool videos. Since you devoted the majority of your attention to seaside, and since you loved Plitvice, I have to mention the fact that Croatia has a lot more national parks, as well as hiking trails and many mountains that are very mild and thus suitable for hikers of all experience levels. Canyons with streams, rivers and lakes, lush green rolling hills, dry Mediterranean mountains, jagged stony peaks, untouched nature as far as the eye can see, beautiful caves that are open for tourists, ... There's a lot of variety to see besides the seaside.
And the best part is, many of them are within a 1 hour drive from the coast so it's very easy to fit them into your summer vacation to break the monotony of being at the beach 24/7.
    Maybe a plan for 2022? ;)

if you like to visit Pazin in Istra ... there is a small castle there. Below the castle, there is Pazinska jama (yama-cave) ... nice to see during the summer, outside the rain seasons. On the most eastern part of Pazin there is Zarečki krov. It started as a simple place for local kids to swim in the local creek. Now even tourist come to see.

Thanks for allowing us to share your travel experiences with us and great to see how the kids are part of the experience. Enjoy it while you can as the kids will grow quickly. However, you have definetely squeezed a lot into the year. I think with all the various restrictions in the world, being in Croatia is almost a blessing despite the negative impact on your business.
Looking forward to seeing more videos in the new year and wishing you and the family all the best from Prague and good luck with your business.

I fell in love with your channel when I saw that first video was about Osijek and I like the enthusiasm for visiting more of Slavonia so few recomandations for a day trip from Osijek would be natural park Kopački rit, rural tourism in Baranja and towns of Valpovo and Belišće. You can wisit Đakovo or Lipik that have State stud farm with Lipizzaner horses. Then there's town of Vinkovci which is oldest continously populated town in Europe. Vukovar is significant for modern Croatian history, but short trip from Vukovar is place called Vučedol where's amazing muzeum dedicated to Vučedol culture from bronze age. Near from Vukovar is the most eastern town in Croatia Ilok with old town on the hill that has amazing view on the Danube and it's home to famous wine sort Traminac which was served on Queen Elisabeth the 2nd's wedding. Also there's Slavonski Brod with it's fortres and beautifull town Požega inside of Požega basin that has also a lot of winerys. Those are just few of recomendations on top of my mind and I hope to see more amazing videos from your channel 🥰

Sarah & Ivan- your videos are FABULOUS!!!!!! I adore your kids and think of them as my little Croatian cousins :-) You give me such an amazing window into my ancestral homeland and I'm so grateful. Aside from the beauty of Croatia, your family brings me so much joy, too :-) You're both such wonderful parents and watching you with your kids heals me in ways I can't even describe. You teach me so much about so many things! Thank you! Please keep making videos! Have a delightful holiday!

I love your videos very much. You are doing a great job in promoting Croatia. My recommendation is to visit the city of Čakovec. 10 min drive from Varaždin. A beautiful old town with a rich history. Greetings from Čakovec ...

Give us an idea of how long it takes to drive from coast to coast or cover the entire state. I know the coast is very long when you go follow all the inlets but from tip to tip give us an idea of how much time it takes to travel

We watched to the end, and appreciate the recap as we missed a few - I love castles (and of course Aus has none) and somehow missed the Trakoscan video. We also loved the Vis video - people are missing out. I was amazed at how much you were able to see and do in a day on a boat and just how clear and blue the water is. Would love to come and see for myself but still trapped on gulag island. Thanks for the videos, we have been able to travel vicareously instead.

Thanks so much! We appreciate your support! 🥰🥰 Trakoscan really is such a beautiful castle! And yes, it's crazy how much you can see in a day by boat!

When we first bought a property it was in Dubrovnik's old town. It was wonderful but then after the game of thrones/star wars/cruise ships all came into the city, it sold out to the tourist and prices shot up. This was something that was not reflected in the rest of the country, hence why we moved and now live on Zlarin just 20 mins from Sibenik and I agree with everything you say about Sibenik. Our advice to people now is if you have never been to Dubrovnik, go but only stay a couple of days and then go up the coast to Split or beyond as you will get better deals and see more of a beautiful country. I do visit Dubrovnik for the half marathon each year and see our friends some of which own the cafe and restaurant on Lokrum.
