John Mayer performing "Vultures" (from album "Continuum", 2006) live at Pinkpop 2010 in Landgraaf, Netherlands. / johnmayervevo (C) 2010 NTR (C) 2010 Cultura24
@@theworshipdrummern8 Everyone is right to their own opinion. 😎👍🏻 This is my favorite rendition of ‘Vultures’ simply because I’m a guitar player who was and still is being inspired by the great Stevie Ray Vaughan/Albert King. A lot of guitar work John is doing here is heavily influenced from these same guys. By the way, what’s up with that turntable business, John? 🤣🤣🤣 Reminds me of his jam with DJ Logic in ‘Inner City Blues’.
Nice ear! John really brought back those SRV-influenced chops around this time in his guitar playing. You can hear the SRV “train wreck”/half step bend in his first solo @ 3:36.
@@lazn9863 nah, don’t get me wrong Bonamassa is good , but next to Mayer he’s a beginner. Mayer can play any genre, Joe can’t , and his voice is kinda irritating too ngl , plus Mayer’s albums are so different and unique , nah it just doesn’t make sense to even debate about it when Mayer’s superiority is too obvious
That intro man wow
And solo holy poop
Surely 💪🙋🏻♀️
The lick he does at 6:00 is an absolute monster
Tom Goode If you like that you should watch 'Out of my mind' by him. The dude goes absolute crazy.
100% agree...
SRV solo voodoo child live at austin minute 3.33

This tone is so nasty! Just perfect!

The best performance of vultures ever
Literally. I share the same opinion this is by far best vulture version.
I say that at every JM performance 😁
Same, imo, as well
Nah. "Where the light is" live version was better imo.

This is the best performance of Vultures. Nice to see this Rock side of John, very Hendrix influenced the solo.
What a strong performance. Holy crap.
Intro transition was so smooth
My favorite rendition of Vultures. JM is simply in the zone.
I don't get why this doesn't have more views. Everything is perfect
Ok maybe the beat boxing isn't🤷
Shhh, just keep it for us lol
my favorite JM live performance ever
Intro= 👑
Best live vultures! 🤘 🤘 🤘
0:56 is a riff from his cover of inner city blues

The train wreck that was those people trying to clap on the beat is why I watch this video every several months. 😂
This is a great version of it! Love that bright overdrive he’s got goin on in this one.
Someone uploaded an edit of this without the beatboxing. I highly recommend it.
Thank god 😂😂

Much different time from the original song. Normally it’s pretty mellow, but I can vibe with this
EDIT: OH MY GOD 5:59

I think he burped and just kinda made something up on the spot

Thought I witnessed Mayer have a seizure at 4:30... that was funky
É o cara!!!!
Literally Oh my freaking God intro😵💫
Almost a decade ago . This John Mayer would have very big crowd venues

👏🏾
Omg
Jesus... every girl in that audience would've gladly accepted this man's seed
Ju Gold for real

Its a duesenberg....
This is soo fucking sick!!!!!
Sheesh, that intro. Fuck.
Tá mais loko que o Batman
Joe Bonamassa should learn from John Mayer that how to create great groove and how to create amazing listenable music !
mayer is good but no bonamassa
@@lazn9863 bonamassa can shred can play fast but still he’s unable to deliver his content !
@@lazn9863 Mayer is a god….bonamassa is just another blues player…with an irritating voice

What does one gotta do to get private lessons from the king
Bruh, you could here a little bit of SRV, BB King, and EVEN a little bit of Slash playing style here. It's crazy good lol
There is NO Slash in it.. never never! hahahah
Albert King man
💪📜🌺👨🏻🎨🎸🎤
I thought he had a seizure at 4:05
Lol
John Mayer 1 Ed Sheeran Nil
Who knew James Franco could play?!
Miller Thomas Lewis Anthony Clark Larry
JOHN F'N MAYER > Ed Sheeran
Shane Brandy they are my 2 favorite...but i got to agree
You don't have to compare
Roma Roma is right, you don't need to compare as they have different styles.
Not even comparable,,, John is fucking badass. Although Ed's lord of the ring song was very good
@@Shendowa you can’t compare a teenie bopper like sheeran to a badass legend like Mayer …..geez man people are really dumb in this era
Some has to do a guitar lesson for this
Who's the drummer??
keith carlock , steely dans drummer
Man, he just blows me away the more I watch and listen. Carlock is the real deal.
This has Jimi Hendrix written all over it
