  • Buddy Guy and John Mayer perform "What Kind of Woman Is This?" live at Farm Aid 2005 at the First Midwest Bank Amphitheater in Tinley Park, Illinois on September 18, 2005.
Farm Aid was started by Willie Nelson, Neil Young and John Mellencamp in 1985 to keep family farmers on the land and has worked since then to make sure everyone has access to good food from family farmers. Dave Matthews joined Farm Aid's board of directors in 2001.
For more information about Farm Aid, visit: farmaid.org/youtube
Farm Aid's performances are donated by the artists in order to raise funds and raise awareness for family farmers. They've raised their voices to help - what can you do?

For all those bashing Mayer, there's a reason he's up there with Buddy. You don't just get up and play with a legend because you're bored, hes a talent & blues filled individual who owns that spot on the stage.

Does anyone out there understand what memorable experiences these shows were for John at the time? It was an honor for John to be asked to play with these icons. These concerts are historical. He was 22 years old at the time, at the beginning of his career. People will look back on these days and know that these were two of the best guitar players on the earth jamming together because they loved what they were doing. That goes for Clapton and B.B. too! Take it in!!!!
