Queen at Live Aid....
Queen - Love of my Life
ua-cam.com/video/2dohZomi0RI/v-deo.html
Queen - Too much love will kill you
Shout out to John Deacon strolling around stage with his bass like he's practising in his garage on a wet Wednesday afternoon
I love the boxing at the end.....so funny....tq
John Deacon's ability to look like he's always just chilling and jamming with his friends in the garage is honestly a little remarkable given **gestures to everything** ya know...the rest of Queen.
At the Live Aid show...Queen ruled...20 min you won't regret watching.....
Yaasssss!!!!
Yes!!!!
Agreed
What gets me is that this is all live instruments.......no synchronised computers! It was real music!
It's called a concert. Or, at least what a concert used to be.
Abso-bloody-lutely @Christine Millership Real music 🎶 real talent 👏
Too bad these times are gone. Today’s music isn’t music or talent a5 all.
Queen really kills you when you have on earphones 👍💜💜💜
You have sooo much more to see of Queen and Freddie Mercury keep going!!! Freddie was one of a kind there will never ever be another Freddie! I’m 39 grew up listening to Queen 39 years im still just as obsessed LEGENDS
No auto tune in those days...so you hear real voice
People often say Queen's music just makes them....HAPPY. You my friend are the embodiment of that. You are in for MORE JOY if curiosity gets the best of you, which we hope it will. For every 80s big arena song you hear, there's a gem from their early days in the 70s...so sample. But the big sampler package, unrivaled, without a fancy wrapping is LIVE AID.
This is considered among critics & fans alike, to be one of his best rock vocal performances. One of my favorite images of QUEEN is from this performance... near the end of the song when the camera is on Freddie (center stage with mic stand) facing one way and in the background you can see Roger Taylor on drums, looking the opposite direction & singing his heart out too. Yes, Freddie was a phenomenal entertainer that everyone raves about, but very few give props to Roger. It takes a ton of talent & stamina just to be on the drums, let alone sing at the same time. Roger also has that powerful higher toned voice which pairs up perfectly with Freddie's. Their harmonies together are simply superb! Roger is one of my top 5 drummers of all time. :-)
Queen Freddie Mercury Lead Singer, studied graphic designer, incredible voice, one of the best singers of all time, amazing stage presence and Crouwd Control, died of cancer at 45. Apart from piano he also played guitars and his favorite
Instrument the audience. Wrote world hits like We are the Champions, Somebody to love and Bohemian Rapsody
Brian May e-guitar and background vocals, also a very good voice with which he also sang his own songs. Doctor of astrophysics, he built his guitar himself together with his father when he was 18, the Red Special is made of wood from a fireplace, a bread knife and parts of an old motorcycle. He also plays the piano and keyboard. He wrote world hits like Who wants to live for ever, We will rock you, I want it all
Rodger Taylor Drums and backing vocals, also an excellent singer, sang his hit I'm in love with my car in concerts while playing the drums. Studied biology, plays the piano and guitar in addition to the drums. Wrote world hits like Radio Gaga, A Kind of Magic and These are the days of our lives
John Deacon Bassit, but also plays rhythm guitar and double bass, he also wrote world hits like Another one Bites the Dust, I want to break free and Friends will be Friends.
Queen made over 190 songs in over 15 musical styles and wrote all but 5 or 6 themselves
Freddie Mercury died of AIDS not of cancer!
But of course, where were my thoughts then. Corrected it thanks.
When Freddie's at the piano Deaky is always close by lol Roger Taylor was a monster on those drums...his vocals supporting Freddie were amazing. He could have easily been a great frontman himself...of course no one can come close to the Master!! Rest In Paradise beautiful Freddie 🎹👑🎤❤️🙏
Queen is the only band where Every Member wrote a #1 hit song and their songs are still popular today.
All of them have attended universities: Freddie has a degree in graphic design and illustration; Brian has a PHD in astrophysics, has collaborated with NASA on the New Horizons Pluto project and has an asteroid named after him. He also built his own guitar with his father when he was a teenager. Taylor has a degree in biology; and Deacon earned a degree in electronics with first-class honors.
These four men maid magic. Enjoy
He won a boxing trophy in high school. In his brief fabulous life Freddie Mercury, musician/ entertainer extraordinaire gave us a wealth of inspirational words, in songs, interviews and through his confidence and determination.
You: " That's what I'm talking about!! Let's Go!"
Freddie; "Ok, Let's do it!"
Glad you liked it. All four of them had no 1 hits. All four members attended universities: Freddie Mercury has a degree in graphic design and illustration; Brian May has a degree in physics and has done graduate work in astronomy; Roger Taylor has a degree in biology; and John Deacon earned a degree in electronics with first-class honors.
Brian went back and got his PhD in Astrophysics... he holds the academic title Dr. Brian Harold May
Also, Brian May built and designed his own guitar. Literally.
@@snorpenbass4196 I came here to say this. Want a guitar? Do what Dr May did. Grab some stuff from around the house and build one. (and still be playing it to this day!) Easy stuff :)
This song was Freddie’s ode to Aretha Franklin - he loved her music!
I hope you will continue with Queen - so many great songs 🙌🏼🔥🎶
Freddie took boxing lessons in school!
and he taught Christina Aguilera how she wanted to do it.
Anything Queen is beyond words. Only music worth my time. Freddie is nothing this world has ever seen or ever will again!!!!
This is probably the most played version of this song. If you want to hear the purity of Freddie's voice, there are also a couple of acapella versions.
The most talented man that ever existed in the world. There will never be another like him - a true artist that was lost to Aids too young. I loved him and will always love him - the best of the best ever. My heart cries for Freddie Mercury even all these years later. You must listen to: Queen - Who Wants To Live Forever (Official Video) - UA-cam
Freddie was the best voice to ever come out of Africa and perhaps the world.
Same concert, "Love of my liife'. Will bring tears to your eyes!!! Freddie was the best vocalist on earth and like Floor he has the timbre in his voice to make you cry and always get goosies. Imagine a duett with Floor... 😊😊😊
Someone did a collaboration of their vocals and some of Brian May's vocal on Who Wants To Live Forever. It sounds really good.
Queen at Live Aid 1985, pleeeese!
"Fat bottomed girls," " Another one bites the dust" there are so many, but these have some really good rythum and beats! RIP Freddie ♥️ Queen
Queen is part of the soundtrack to my life. I grew up when Queen were a current band and each song they released was talked about endlessly at school. My generation had THE best music, nuff said. If you want to react to something a bit different, try listening to "You Take My Breath Away" where it's all Freddie (except a little bit of Brian on guitar). He wrote it he sang it, he did all the harmonies and overdubbed himself. (Go for the studio version to hear all the amazing self-harmonising and over dubbing.) To my mind, it's one of the greatest love songs ever. Always brings a tear to my eye. Good reactions, please do more with Queen!
Best version of this song ever.
Don't you just love Queen and Freddie, timeless music, legend band. Nothing more beautiful than natural beauty.
Said it before and I will keep saying it,
Freddie Mercury don't need autotune...
Autotune needs Freddie Mercury!!!
Queen are awesome!! Seen them Live in concert. I was near Freddie and his piano! ❤️❤️❤️
If you haven’t watched their Live Aid performance that should be the next thing you do. 22 minutes of greatness.
I've said before, if I could go back in time to see any band in concert, it would be Queen. What you're seeing and hearing is pure, natural talent. No auto-tunes, no needless flash. Just freaking talent on fire.
Of all the concerts I've ever seen, it was easily the best.
@@anneschreck5136 I believe it.
There will never ever ever ever be someone that comes close to Freddie for me! Loved him so much. Great reaction, thank you this.
❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️Beautiful Queen! Lovely playd, the harmony between the singing and the instruments. Its crazy! My favourite Queen performance. Please also watch ”Dragon attack” from the same concert.
BROTHER ... THERE IS SO MUCH IN MUSIC TO SHARE ... 'MUSIC WILL UNITED THE PEOPLE OF THE WORLD!'
I'm so happy right now I could cry!! My favorite song EVER!
Oh my gosh, thank you for reacting to this. The magic of Freddy and queen transcends thru all of time and space. We miss Freddy dearly and are grateful to the heavens for the eargasm I get every time I listen to Freddy sing and the band play. And sir u are so humble and charismatic. Ty. From Rosy in Pasadena CA
Queen- Freddie Mercury in perfection! What a great song and performance
Under pressure live at Wembley you will truly discover the power of Freddie. Great reaction! So nice to see people discover Queen
I jus did that one yesterday
Freddie îs nr one. Nr. One.
Love your reaction to the best band ever ! Raw , talented geniuses!
I love this song. If you want more guitar and piano, react to Queen: White Queen live at Odeon, Hammersmith. Older Queen song, Freddie's vocals are amazing and the instrumental section (1 min and 45 sec long) between Freddie on the Piano and Brian shredding it on the Guitar is mind blowing to say the least. You will love it, I guarantee you.
Never get tired of Queen. Freddie was so amazing. You should definitely go down the rabbit hole!! Your happy smile is fun to watch!
Love watching Roger the drummer. Great!
LOVE that big smile on your face as you listen to the best ever !!
So happy to see you were reacting to Queen again! You are about to enter an amazing rabbit hole with them. They have a very loyal and very large fan base so be prepared. Great reaction, thank you!
White Queen live at Hammersmith, just jump feet first down the rabbit hole. Dr. Brian May Astrophysicist is the guitar player.
WE ARE THE CHAMPIONS,,,WE WILL ROCK YOU,,ANOTHER ONE BITES THE DUST,,. Queen has so many hit songs..unreal
All band member were highly educated people . Everyone of them play multiple instruments . All the music you hear they wrote it and they did marvellous film music. Sometimes I thought
they write classical music for us !
It’s a kind of magic live from Wembley.in fact anything live from Wembley.
Freddie was the ultimate performer!!!!!
Thanks for reacting to them! The best band ever. My nickname is in his honor. and the great love of my life will always be Freddie ❤
PLAY THE GAME, live at Milton Keynes; WHITE QUEEN, live at the Odeon Hammersmith; NOW I'M HERE, live at Wembley...there are so many songs to recommend...look online foe a pic of Freddie when he was a teen boxing...he was very quick on his feet and was good at sports and also very smart ...he could hear a song once and be able to play it
What was amazing about Queen’s concerts - no special effects! Just good, fantastic, AMAZING performers.
Have you noticed the HD-quality and the amazing sound..? It was 1981 and Queen was one of the first ever to use this new technology, long time before Hollywood would switch to that techs, because of the costs! The whole concert was filmed in HD and is avaible on DVD in 5.1 Surround-Sound and even 7.2 THX-Sound. As the Queen tour was sold out and they were not able to play everywhere in the world - as they were at the top of their fame - they made a movie out of this concert. It was played back then in cinemas/theatres around the globe and became a successfull "movie". The people in the cinemas/theatres went crazy and clapped along, sang along and danced ... what a party! :-) Sadly I didn't saw this concert, but years later "Queen On Fire At Bowl" was released in cinemas/theatres as well ... that was epic! Imagine a room with hundreds of Queen-Fans and Freddie on the big screen with top-live-sound ... wow! amazing! :-) *cheers
Yes, Freddie is an icon but seeing the joy on YOUR face as a first time listener is making my day! Thanks.
Highlight of the week is finding a new reaction to this song. It's just amazing and brings out the goosebumps and feelgood every time !
Queen is my all time favourite band ever thanks to my dad, he died in 1991 on the 24th November which is my birthday a day I will never forget. I recently had a half sleeve tattoo of Freddie which is dedicated to my dad and Freddie, something I will have with me forever.
Queen - the best , raw band ever ! There are so many Queen songs that are amazing! Dragon Attack - Montreal, etc . Love them since 1972 !
Generally I prefer the live versions of everything by Queen, but the studio version of this song has a ton of great harmonies. Definitely worth a listen. I've been binge-watching reactions because it's fun to see when people really "get it," but some people are so fake. I'm totally enjoying your reactions! If you're going to jump down a rabbit hole, this is a great one.
2nd BEST Queen song EVER!!!! YEE!! YEE!!
🤘🔥🤘🔥
Oh yes, Bohemian Rhapsody, Kind of Magic, I Want To Break Free and so many more...😁
He should definitely see this movie
How could anyone who has heard this before not just yearn to hear it again!
I just LOVE Roger's drums there towards the end - what a hypnotic beat ❤❤❤❤
RIP ~ Freddie 💔
Truly the greatest showman.R.I.P freddie ,you`ve left us so much magic behind to remember you by.x
Queen er king, and Freddies vocal is stunning.:) :)
Freddie was a boxer as a school boy, and a good one. If you continue w/ Queen, and I seriously hope you will, you'll see how often he uses his arms and fists in boxing-type move. It also helped his singing-- extending his upper body to hit notes nobody else but God could hit. Live. Repeatedly. Love your enthusiasm! Take advantage of suggestions in the comments as well as those of people who can afford to support you monetarily. Queen WILL get you subscribers, views, likes. Go, go, go!
Wow 🥰 beautiful sweet Freddie 😍❤️ we still love you Freddie ❤️ now and forever ❤️
Roger the drummer never gets credit for singing backup through the entire song. All four talented. QUEEN NOT JUST FREDDIE.
This entire Montreal concert is amazing. React to any song, they're all great
There are several Queen songs that you know but did not know they were by Queen. Listen to, We Are the Champions, and Another One Bites the Dust.
Bohemian Rhapsody (studio version WITH 🎧) Live Aid 1985 (entire 20 minutes) are both a MUST!😁
While Freddie gets the majority of attention ( which he deserves), the talent level of each of these men is incredible. Put them together & they are epic. Each member wrote a #1 song for the band & each was individually inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame. It's Queen's 50th anniversary this year. The original lineup was together for 20 years. Brian & Roger are still touring (and rockin it) with Adam Lambert as their front man. (John Deacon took Freddie's death really hard & retired from music in 1997.
I don't think they were inducted individually as in different times but they were inducted as a band
Bo Rap in 2004
night of the opera album in 2018
champions and rock you were both inducted at the same time 2009
Rogers days of our lives wasn't released independantly but with Bo Rap
but it did win a Brit Award
Brians Rock You was in 2000 with five live
This song was one of the first songs after Bohemian Rhapsody to hit big as a single.. Not many bands would be able to follow a masterly 45 like Bohemian Rhapsody but Queen did it effortlessly. We were spoiled in 1975 with Space Odity on rerelease by David Bowie and Bohemian Rapture and this one Check out the Bowie also
Dragon attack or bohemian rhapsody live at Montreal, Save Me & Fat Bottomed girls live at Milton Keynes 82, Who wants to live forever & Now I'm here Wembley 86, Liar, Death on two legs ( one of the first diss songs!) lyric video...thank you!
Awww yeah FAT BOTTOMED GIRLS.... What a jam. He'll love it.
Hey my friend. Here are a couple of songs for you. ANOTHER ONE BITES THE DUST live at Wembley July 12th, 1986 also WHO WANTS TO LIVE FOREVER live at Wembley July 12th, 1986. You will love both preformances. Thank you for doing QUEEN videos. Take care and have a good day. Your friend, QUEEN BEE.
Please keep going with Queen! A few songs, but there truly are dozens. Here are a few: Bohemian Rhapsody, Killer Queen, We Are The Champions, We Will Rock You, Another One Bites The Dust, Fat Bottom Girls, and Crazy Thing Called Love. There are many more as well. That's just a quick getting to know Queen list. Thanks again for your videos!! So much fun!
Glad to see a young black man listen to real music. Thankyou.
I just LOVE YOU!!!!! You’re joy comes right through the screen❣️
Good reaction, happy to see Queen on your Channel. Freddy's vocals were great and what a great Entertainer. I miss him but we still have his music. Thanks for the video!💖🤗
Keep the Queen coming you'll love it
It's so fun to see you react to Freddy Mercury & Queen. It reminds me when I was young and felt just like you. Exhilarating!! Queen was such a raw yet polished band, amazing musicians. Freddy sadly passed away from AIDS the very next day after he announced he was inflicted with the disease. It was heartbreaking.... thank you for posting! Such fun to see you discover such great singers from another time.
P.s. you should check out Freddy singing with David Bowie on 'Under Pressure '. Great duet!!
Thank you Mr Adogg...great reaction, great smile and great performance...catch you next time..😊
Love that you can’t stop smiling cause it’s so good
Did you get the chills? His voice just sends me somewhere
It really is refreshing to watch young people discovering Queen. If indeed the reaction is genuine, and not subservient to your desire to improve your YT status.
I subscribed! This band is too good to skip their rabbit hole, you will come out on the other end with a different feeling about music, I promise. When it comes to reacting to them, you should first react to the studio version and then the live version, when available. Closer to the end of Freddie’s life, he wasn’t able to do concerts or live performances, so you won’t always have it but he was still there and working right up until the end and the band was there with him. Their catalog is vast, their music is different, you can tell that now but you could really tell that back then. They just didn’t sound like everybody else. Anywho, you will find that their studio version vs their live versions (even from different concerts) are all different, but this is a band that is often better live, which is rare, especially today. They didn’t have all of the fancy stuff back in those days to make them sound great in studio, and then suck live. But they change their songs, they speed up the tempo, slow it down, there is absolutely nothing this band wouldn’t do to put on an outstanding live show. And the love the crowd and the crowd loves them. Today is my birthday, I am 54. That would be about oh, 40 years of being a huge Queen fan. So for my birthday you must go down the Queen rabbit hole. 😂 Thank you for your reaction, this is how all reactions should be to them. ❤️
Happy Birthday Queen fan!
Happy Birthday7 mo ago !!
I adore Freddie's performance as well as Brian performance, I pay respedt to everyone connerned dead or alive, thank you all xx
Queen has influenced more bands than you could easily count.
Love aid concert. Best 20 mins you will ever see!
Great reaction 👏👏👏. ... 👑❣️👑❣️👑. Recommend “who wants to live forever” live at Wembley 1986
You should see the version Queen did with Gearge Michael at the Freddie Mercury tribute show
Watching you reminded me how I felt the first time I saw this. That right there is why Freddie is considered the best vocalist in rock. He had a 4 octave range and a vibrato of 7.4Hz. Incredible! I hope you dive head first down this rabbit hole, it is bottomless but don’t be scared, we Queenies will look after you. One of the other comments suggested White Queen live at Hammersmith in 1975. It’s their long hair, glam rock days and the boys look so young, but Freddie’s voice is so beautiful. The instrumental segment in the middle between Brian’s guitar and Freddie’s piano will blow your mind, tear your soul and bring a tear to your eye. Loved your reaction to this song though, i never ever get tired of watching it ❤️
Beautiful comment. I love Queen 👑
@@manishshiwlani3151 You’re not alone there. I could listen to Freddie’s voice all day long
Watched this channel for 5 minutes and I'm hooked. Love your appreciation for different genres of music.
one of americas best singers
simply the BEST!!!!
Miss you, Freddie!
i love your reactions ...queen at live aid 1985 was absolutaly amazing. would love to see you react to that.
Fat Bottomed Girls, live at Milton Keynes '82. Great song and performance.
My fav Queen song ever!!
The smile says it all!
Da Real-- *you* are a true lover of music! The joy shines from your face :-) Thank you so much for bringing Queen's music to our 'now'. I'm now your forever fan and follower. Wish I could gift you a guitar...
It doesn't count if you don't listening with headphones, try again, it will blow your mind!
