An excellent video, thank you for airing a long overdue aspect of our little friends ! Also... please make a definitive video about safe temperatures for buns. This winter there's sadly been so many tragedies (again) with poor little things freezing due to being kept outside in hutches, especially those alone, those without so much as a single companion to cuddle up to. Just because they're given some hay to lay on doesn't mean they're going to keep warm. Some owners need to be instructed and to understand that in the wild buns are comfortably deep underground in their burrows, well away from ground level frost, deep in the earth where temperatures are permanently above zero all winter, and remain cool for the little things during the summer months.

Sad how humans have caused these issues, and even sadder that people just dump them when they become too much work!

I have read that angora rabbits may have been the first to be intentionally bred in ancient Anatolia (Greece/Turkey) on small islands in the Aegean Sea by King Mausoleus (300 B.C.!) for his wife (who was also his sister 🙄) and the rabbits were kept to breed on ‘rabbits islands’ for almost 2,000 years while their wool was used to make prized antique Turkish rugs before they were sent in hutches to France/Germany in the late 17th century for wool production and also to Queen Marie Antoinette as gifts for the French court. Isn’t that awesome !! Thank you so much for your rabbit advocacy, Lorelei !!

6:55 Holden does this all day every day, always looking for food 😂😂😅 I'll say, "Holden, come out and play!" And he'll ignore me, sleeping under the bed. But then I say, "Holden, do you want a treat?" And suddenly he's on me before I detect his rustling sounds from under the bed 😂😂😂😅
Of course a rabbit owner is the only creator with a decent history of rabbits. They're really underappreciated animals and there's not enough research about their behavior and domestication
I remember our vet explaining, after our lionhead mix struggled with stasis about a decade ago, how rabbits were the "fast food" of the animal kingdom. Over a decade later, she's still getting us with that sweet, sweet dopamine. (one of my favorite stories is how Napoleon Bonaparte was routed and sent fleeing by a horde of domesticated rabbits he was trying to hunt)
Thank you for another video Lorelei! This was a really cool topic that you covered. I thought it was interesting how the brain size differed from a wild rabbit to a domesticated rabbit. Also, how long it took for people to begin having pets as rabbits and begin breeding them for shows.
I recently watched the Nature episode "Remarkable Rabbits." It was mostly about wild species, but it was super fascinating seeing all the things they've evolved to do in different climates. Domestication is always really interesting. It's crazy how much animals and people adapt for each other.

Hey Lorelei! I would love to see an update of how you're living! Of course I'm mostly interested in the areas which Lennon has access to. And I would love to hear Problems she causes 😄 Like destroying carpet or peeing on it! Or peeing in their food bowl 🙈🙈🙈 Or is it just my bunny that is not freeroamable? I mean I have two. One is an angle! I have him since he was a baby. But the other one (neutered girl) is a freeroamer like him but she actually never leaves their ikea hol ever! 🙈 So she actually could be a freeloader but doesn't want to. She's shy and destroying (AND PEEING ON) everything when she's got a chance. 🙈 The biggest problem is that I'm not allowed to get another floor. Wood scares her and it's just understandable she doesn't want to slip on it. My other one is used to it. But if I use carpets, she always chews on the edges and pees on it!! I can't wash it everyday! It also has to dry so they don't have the carpet while it drys. And when they get it back she pees on it again... so I have to remove it again...... 🙄 I really need your guys help! 🙏💕💕💕💕 Thx so much! Nayeli (& Puschel) will appreciate your help!

Absolutely love this informational video, thank you! You have been my “go to” channel for all things rabbits. I have a 3 year old holland lop that my mother got for my son (really me) 2 months before she died. I had know idea how to take care of a rabbit and ALL of your videos have helped me learn. Thank you so much for your videos, I would be lost without them! 🐰❤️
This is fascinating! Thank you for a fun and informative video.
Nothing like some good ole education. Thank you. ❣️🐰🌺
Very informative and interesting video. I enjoyed learning more about our buns. Thank you for your time in educating us.
This video is a compilation of others' work. You are such a plagiarist. This credit belongs to Orianna Sibada, Human Bunny Bond. Lorelei does not do any research, she just claimed. Like she said in her video - her life is a lie, so is this video. So many similar comments were deleted by her because she is shameless. 🤪🤪
Thank you so much for this video...as a bunny owner I try my best to get acquainted with all things bunny
You know you will have a good day when your morning starts with lennon the bunny video!! Those big beautiful eyes of lennon with perfect eyelashes !! Doesn't she look like a Disney character !! How is Lennon so cute!!
Thx for this highly informative video! 😁🙏 I learned so much!
Lorelei you know id die for you but 1:40 was the goofiest thing I’ve seen all week
This was so interesting!! Thank you for sharing!!

You make your rabbit feel so comfortable in your home you have encouraged me so much to do much more stuff for my bunnies and you are an amazing influence to new rabbit owners!
Thank you!❤️❤️
I recently adopted my rabbit Aura, and this channel has been my saving grace! I appreciate you so much 🐰💖
My rabbit's brain consists of 60% getting into trouble, 20% treats and 20% sleeping
I love this video, it was so helpful and intresting!
My bunny's name is ash went I first got him I didn't know how to keep him alive but then you helped me so much I love you from the bottom of my heart thank you so much
In my experience our pet bunnies are able to learn and get us to do what they want? Thanks for letting us learn about the process! Blessed and safe days!
This is so cool I love learning on your channel!😱
I loved that Nature episode as well - was blown away by the swimming swamp bunnies.
Nothing like some interesting facts about rabbits with my morning coffee. Thank You :)
Like you, I find it quite fascinating. Thank you for sharing. 😊
me yelling “NOOO” every time you talked about rabbit’s being used for food 😭
Please make a video about how you can copy other people’s work and not credit them at all!
Hi would love to know where you found your litter box? I would love to buy the same exact one!
Hi Lorelei I love your content, never seen anyone talk about rabbit history before, quite an amazing topic actually. Could you have a rabbit testing video?

This video looks good! Can’t wait to watch it.
I feel respected being called a lenny :)
This is very interesting, I've never seen anything about rabbit history, as you said there's not really much at all about it
Wow awesome I learned some pretty cool information love the video!
Where I was in Paris I saw rabbits outside napoleons grave - they own the place and each spring they each the fresh raspberries that grow around the perimeters
good job with this video! loved it!
This is very informational!
Their brains sure do have a weird shape
I love this! I've never heard about a rabbit history before !
outstanding video!!! I love it!!!
Lorelei I think need you to see this. I searched up sounds for rabbits and I find a video titled : baby rabbit squeals to death. I find this absolutely repulsive and I just wanted to let you know. ty and I love ur vids btw
