@@itslilycameron I live with my bunny 🐇 (he's almost four years) and it's absolutely wonderful ❤ Fig has fallen in love with you too. You made him trust you, so CONGRATS! I'm sure you'll be happy together ❤❤❤❤❤❤
Hey! Bunny owner here. I can tell you’ll be a great bunny owner. I just wanted to give a few tips because my bunny is rather fearful and an handful so I learned a few things through the 4 years I’ve had her. The main thing I would say is just keep an eye on those pee pads because With me I had to stop using em because she kept chewing them up and trying to eat them for some reason. The other big thing is try not to pick up your bunny TOO much (I made that mistake and now all the time she runs and thumps at me cuz she thinks I’m gonna pick her up and I feel bad) and lastly on Amazon there’s a type of pet stroller that says it’s for dogs but it works amazing for rabbits too! I bought it for mine a few years back and she loves it! That’s all the tips I have. I hope they were a lil helpful and I Hope you and your bunny bond well!
Thanks for saying that! I got my bunny a few months ago but my parents aren't letting me take her inside 😢 So I always worry if she doesn't have enough room to jump around im
Please keep posting him! I’m loving this bunny content and a lot of people usually just record themselves getting the bunnies and then they’re never to be seen again. Please more fig content🙏
@@itslilycameron set a separate channel for it as well i suggest (daily + its name ) post about its food and habits and daily routine sooner you will have to get a female for it so its going to be the family channel for him
As a long time bunny owner, I'm so happy for this video because it shows how to properly welcome a bunny into your house : with weeks of preparations, research, and excitement ! So many people get a bunny on a whim and they turn depressed or die so fast because of improper care, this video was definitely resfreshing.
@@garden_creature Guinea pigs do that, bunnies are more resilient, sometimes you have rescue bunnies who really don't do well with others. But generally speaking if you want to have a pet rabbit, you should get a pair as they're social animals and it's good for them to have a friend.
I had a smile on my face the whole time watching this. I had a bunny. Gotta say. One of the coolest animals you can have as pets. Yes they have sensitive stomachs. But they have so much character. Very fun to be around
We love an educated pet owner!!! Thank you so much for researching so much before getting the baby! It is the minimum, but it is not uncommon to see people online getting an exotic pet without researching first! :(
It's pretty endearing to see someone who is doing everything that's right before adopting a bunny, it's not obvious and I'm assured you'll make a great bun mum! Please keep posting about him!
So true, I looked into a few shelters and there wasn’t any bunnies near me but fig will probably had a friend one day, right now i don’t have capacity for 2, I’m learning to handle one, and I will wait until he is neutered due to territorial behaviour and injury risk. definitely on the cards in future !
And if there was 0 breeders eventually there would be none but those in wild. The breeders are not to blame or punish the people adopting animals without research or for others who might not want them or might not be ready for them are the problem. Yes unwanted bunnies need more consideration but don't judge others who are serious and adopting from breeders.
Not all bunnies belong in pairs! I’ve had my rabbit since he was a few months old and he’s my only bun, he’s thriving well by himself (he’s turning 2 In June!) and adores getting my attention only lol, so I think your all good having a single bunny!
Pretty much!😂😂 my bestie has a cute Holland lop she got her a boyfriend and now they love being together she told me"i've been replaced I just take care of them now but I still love them" 😂😂@@jackmarsa
Oh also be aware that bonding bunnies can take months to a year. Also be prepared to take them to the vet during this time. Fights can easily break out and ripped noses can quickly happen. Sometimes it takes several tries to find the right bunny partner so have a plan to be able to rehome or keep the new bun separated. I had a pair that I eventually gave up on and they were very happy to be bar buddies and live side by side ^^
hey! bunny owner here :) i just wanted to say your doing a great job at being a bun mom so far! one thing I want to mention is if you do get another bunny in the future there are lots of animal shelters with rabbits in need of a home, and they often come spayed/neutered so you dont have to worry abt the expense as getting my bun spayed was very expensive (but worth it obviously lol). Ik you mentioned you like lop eared rabbits (which shelters often don't have) but lops tend to be the bulldogs of rabbit breeds bc they often have many more health concerns due to the state of their ears and their snouts, as the way their bred makes them cute but causes more issues with their teeth, eyes, nose and ears. also no hate! just though it was important to consider and be aware of
@@itslilycameron Perhaps someone else has mentioned this in your comment section too, but be sure your bunny chooses their friend. Bunnies, especially usually the does, are very territorial. You might be surprised it can go either very easy or very difficult! But there are many tips, even on UA-cam about bonding bunnies, so would highly suggest looking at those if you go that route. Sometimes shelters will offer this service too for a (small) fee. Good luck and have lots of fun with your rabbit! Once they bond with you, you have a best buddy for life. Edit: To add, and maybe you also already know this, but as a fellow lop-ear owner I want to add to be sure to pay attention to any nose/breathing issues as well as to keep an eye out on their ears and eyes. They tend to have more quickly rubbish in their eyes, which you can easily keep clean, but just a point to keep in mind. I have to clean my lop's eyes quite often. And as for their ears, as they are pointed down naturally, that can also cause ear infections more easily. Think of ear wax build-up, ear mites, etc. Hope this helps!
Your comments on lops is actually false! No breed is more or less susceptible to health problems. Bracy rabbits don't exists, all of them have the exact same skull length for their size. Ethical breeders don't breed rabbits with maloclusion. It's a genetic disorder that should NEVER be bred.
My partner and I have two adopted rabbits and they are beautiful gentle creatures full of personality. Bunnie's require a lot more care than most folks understand so glad you have done your research on caretaking. If you have the opportunity to find a partner for the rabbit, while not necessary, it is a massive quality of life improvement, and cool part is it doesn't have to be immediate, it can be down the road when you have the resources. I know from hours of research that the UK HAS THE MOST available options for bunny bonding services, so if bonding proved to be too much trouble you can seek those services. We had to use a bonding service and after two weeks they went from being very territorial in separate spaces, to best friends.
@itslilycameron That sounds very reasonable to me. You & Fig have to get to know each other & start building a loving life together. You'll know when it's the right time to bring home another bunny. Love & greetings from Canada 🇨🇦! God bless!
No offense but: it might Could be That your bunny will not Accept any other bunny after that long time. I guess you will Do him a big favour when you will buy / adopt a friend for him now, when he is young ... its way more species-appropriate because they are very social animals. I am just writing this because of my experiences. My first bunny was alone because i haven't had known it better (was 20 years ago). After a long time i Tried to put her together with another bunny. She wasn't used to That and they had a serious fight. It Was my Biggest mistake and i am still regretting that she lived her whole Life alone 😢
@@itslilycameron i agree to joshvaughan, in the past I owned two rabbits and they loved each other and were massively sad when the partner died. But it is ALWAYS better to own two rabbits because they need each other! ♥
In many countries it is necessary and even relevant to animal welfare that you need at least one partner for your bunny! It seems overly sad that these laws seemingly no one interests in america. The same goes with declawing cats or cropping dog ears. How the Hecc are these things allowed there
Your son will love fresh spring mix, bananas, apples, & dandelion flower & greens!! I had my little one for years!!! Free roamed in my home. Happiest, sweetest, loving buns!!🤍✨ congrats on your new little one🎉
Hi! First of all, your bunny is really cute, and your setup for him looks wonderful. I’m sure you are an amazing owner to him. That being said, I really do hope you will consider getting another bunny to keep fig company in the near future. They are social animals, and human interaction can never truly replace a friend of the same species for them. Much love and best of luck in your pet raising adventure!
As a rabbit owner I recommend baby’s rabbit pellets for your rabbit and give them at least a good amount a day! They should get however much they wants! Once they get older I can switch to adult pellets and feed them 1/8 cup per pound! The pellets are not treats so u shouldn’t be feeding him a few a day! I also recommend alfalfa hay for baby rabbits and Timothy for adults! Just a few tips!
@@itslilycameron ohhh ok I thought that u were feeding it to him as a treat so thats why i said that! My apologies, your a great owner! My mistake on that I should definitely pay more attention lol! Love the video! ❤️
Agree. However, bunnies must be bonded. Not all bunnies get along. Bunnies who hate each other will fight; seriously injure, and kill each other. Getting a torn up bunny mended is very expensive. These sweet, otherwise adorable creatures can have beasts inside.
OH. MY. GOSH!! You knew exactly what to expect and do when you got your bun. I wish I was that educated and prepared before I got mine. You seriously just gave me motivation to clean out my whole room and move my bunnies cage so they have more space. I love your channel. Your so kind to that rabbit, and it's so lovely to watch. Thank you.. ❤
Congratulations! Fig is so adorable! I have 2 bunnies. The most important health issues are their teeth which can grow if misaligned or get spurs that need trimming and GI Stasis. I am sure you researched this first as you said and seem so responsible. Your video showed up on my home page and I enjoyed it very much. Enjoy your bunny!
I get y’all are so concerned about the bunny’s well being but she has done a lot of research. Most of y’all are worried that the bunny will be alone and lonely but it’s not your bunny. There are many reasons why she can’t and won’t get another bunny right now and some of those reasons are for the bunny’s well being. Plus her friend has a bunny so if it really gets that bad, they can have play dates or something
Oh my gosh!! He is such a beautiful bunny and the cutest name ever :) you make such a great bunny mom!! Can't wait to see more adventures with you & Fig!! Congrats!
They need a buddy! People who disagree certainly don’t have enough knowledge. Poor bunny can’t talk do anybody, doesn’t snuggle with others and doesn’t get cleaned etc.
@@Charlieson294 I have 5 people in my house, there is always someone to care for her and if nobody is home then she has her toys to play with and snacks, we're only gone 6 hours a day and she's fine. When we get home all of the attention goes to her! :3 So really rabbits don't need to be paired to experience affection and love!
12:53 If you get the vet workers to take the bunny, then you leave the room and come back to take the pet home. That will give the pet the impression that you came to ‘save’ them and they won’t hate you
This made me so so happy! I'll never forget my first bun; I was absolutely smitten! The bunny we have now just turned 7. I remember waiting for his litter to be born, and then for him to be weaned. We have always had single buns due to space and finances, and they are super happy and healthy. Fig is perfect. So happy for you!
You seem super well-read about bunnies and Fig seems rather at ease in his new home. I just wanted to mention two things: the t-shirt in the carrier was a good idea for when he's getting used to you, but I recommend always keeping a towel in the carrier for later. Also, please avoid wearing claw clips when you're in the car, because those can really mess up your spine and skull if you get into a car accident, otherwise nothing to say Enjoy the bunny life! ^^
Hi there! Congrats on your new bunny! But I would 100% suggest going out and buying baby bunny pellets and alfaalfa hay. I know it might seem like the best idea to use whatever the breeder has provided to you and I dont mean to come off like a Karen😭 but baby bunnies need unlimited pellets for the first 6 months or so and it would definitely be better to provide him a bowl of pellets instead! (The oxbow baby pellets are great.) And I believe @/sincerely, cinnabun here on youtube has videos discussing the same which I suggest you check out. Best of luck to you and your bunny on this new journey!
😭😭😭 so beautiful I love how much you prepared before jumping to get a rabbit. The whole process was wholesome. You literally prepared for a baby lol. Fig is blessed to have a responsible mum. Idk if you’re considering children at any point but I kno you will be a wonderful mother as you already have shown a glimpse of it with Fig. God bless you and your family & lil Fig 💙💙💙 thank you for sharing your journey with us.
You did this in the most responsible way you could! I can tell you really did your research and I’m so glad about that considering most people just overlook the requirements/care needed for a rabbit. Fig seems very comfortable and relaxed in his new home, he is definitely showing many signs of happiness! Ignore any haters and good luck on this new incredible and loving chapter of your (and Fig’s) life 🩷
Hey! Im an owner of 2 bunnies and i just wanted to say thank you SO much for doing your research! Many people dont research about a pet before getting them, and it normally turns out in a disaster! I can tell you will be a great rabbit owner, Thanks for reading!
It helps with their litter training if bunny is spayed/neutered when they become of age! For males as early as 3 or 4 months usually! Also a disclaimer, lops are most prone to health issues so finding a good vet and having insurance/a good amount saved in case of emergencies is always good! Alfalfa hay until 6 months and its best to not give pellets with extra additives like seeds and treats/nuts! Id also call vet clinics around you and see what places offer the rhdv vaccine bc not all of them do (if you havent already), domestic and wild rabbits are effected and its fatal. I love the dude that said its dangerous outside for the rabbit bc its so true!!
Not many people do there research before getting a pet and I’m really happy to see you take the time to really take care of Fig and you’re going to be a great bunny owner Fig is really adorable ❤
I have an indoor/outdoor rabbit, he comes in and out as he pleases like a cat. I love it. He is fully littered trained ans fully has access to every part of our house and yard. We hardly feed him anymore as he mostly eats grass and weeds outside. He sleeps on the stairs and couch.
Get pet liners, these can go in the cage area where the litter box and food/water bowls are. I use guinea pig liners with the absorbant Uhaul liner in the middle. That plastic is dangerous if the bunny bites and eates it. The liner you are using could be a danger also if the bunny nips at it. Cover it with a fleece blanket. Good luck. I have 2 free roam bunnies. I love them.
You’re doing an amazing job 🥰 thank you for giving Fig such a lovely home! A couple of tips from a bunny mum, 2 out of my 3 bunnies developed teeth issues, so please do the regular teeth checks at the vets, I believe they recommend at least every 6 months so you can stay on top of it. Lots of coarse hay usually does the trick which it looks like you’ve got nailed already. Second tip, whilst it’s important you feel confident holding him for vets visits ect, please don’t pick him up all the time. Bunnies just don’t like it, even if they have a really calm temperament it’s not good for bonding. And never tip them on their backs, it can be very distressing and quite dangerous - this is more for you to be aware of when others handle your bun (some vets don’t have a lot of bunny knowledge)❤
i've had 2 bunnies in the past (they passed recently), but they were so cute for a little over a year of me having them :). i pray your lil baby bunny will stay happy and healthy 🩷
I can relate to this story. I had never ever thought about bunnies until someone i know got one and when i saw him 6 months ago i fell in love instantly and since then have been obsessed with getting one. I have to think carefully about it though as it is a big commitment as with the correct care they can live a long time but i probably will get one :)
adopt dont shop, sooo many bunnies are in need of adoption. in shlters, from lab testing, from the meat industry.... Lops and espexcially mini lops are genetic cruelty, that should NOT be supported. someone who says they love rabbits should know this and act accordingly. the same goes for having a pair; if you didn't have the means to have 2 mice you wouldnt get a single mouse, why is it okay for rabbits? one thing is if you have saved him or her, another is if you on purpose go out and buy one
Fig looks like SUCH a happy bunny! My bunny was a rescue, and when I adopted him, it took weeks before he was as comfortable with me as Fig immediately was with you. If I so much as breathed, he would run away and hide. But he's such a sweetie now, and I can see that you're gonna be a very good bun mom! I love it so much that you did all the research before getting a rabbit. Not everyone does, and that just ends in disaster when they realize rabbits aren't quite the easy pets they thought they were.
Please take very good care of this Baby Angel.. Bunnies are extremely fragile.. If taken good care they can live upto 11-13 years.. Anyways, you earned a new subscriber.. ❤️❤️❤️
Ha ha ha ha good luck rabbits are a lot more worked than most people realize but they are so worth it. I’ve had Rabbits for 25+ years. Every moment has been perfect, horrible, and downright hilarious. They truly are the epitome of action speak louder than words.❤
ive had 4, today they're all in heaven, i miss my little girl so much. Watching you happy with him made me remember the good times ive had with her, for a few minutes i could forget the day she left me. Thank you swetie :)
Litterally dying of cuteness right now! We're adopting one also and hope that I'm fit in taking good care of it. Please keep posting him. Would love to see him in future videos!
I strongly suggest getting fresher hay that is more green rather than brown. Hay that comes in a bag tends to be very old. There are online stores that specialize in food for small pets, and they usually have much fresher hay.
yay congrats 🐰 can’t wait to watch him grow up - miss my little bunny i had growing up. i’ve been seeing a lot of bunny related stuff (my coworkers has one) and it’s really made me consider maybe getting a bunny again in the future
Lenny the bunny on UA-cam has amazing content very informative and educational. Fig is adorable!!! My first rabbit live for 17 years. He was an inside bun. We grew up together.
Out of curiousity, why only one? Rabbit are social creatures who can experience loneliness when they aren't with at least one other bunny. Please keep an eye out for abnormal behaviour. And like, baby bunny waiting lists? There are quite a lot in shelters :(
that’s all I have capacity for right now, fig will probably have a friend one day but right now it’s not possible, plus I work from home so he’s very tended to. And I did look, but there was none in shelters near where I live otherwise I would have considered 😊
When buying a pet it should be what's best for the pets quality of life not what best for you If you can't commit to owning two bunnies then rabbits aren't for you they need there own companion to thrive
@@krystalbassett474 until fig is neutered I won’t be considering a friend due to territorial behaviour and injury risk, that’s also what’s best for him 😊
Congratulations! And don’t worry about people bringing up a second. I got only one and the breeder not once mentioned anything to me about taking 2 and now my bun is 6 months and I can’t get him to bond at all to any bun. He refuses to share his space and the house. He has his own bedroom, it’s a bonus room in our home. And he runs the rest of house when he is awake! He is sooooo spoiled! My husband and I are retired and are enjoying our little bun . Plus we have our special needs son who lives with us and enjoys the bunny. So I don’t see him having a second bun at all in the future. He is to content and happy with his life with us. He runs around my 2,240 sq ft Ranch. 🙃 and gets to see chickens outside on my property through the glass French doors and low windows that he jumps up to. You will know if yours needs a friend or not. It’s not all the same. Just like some cats don’t like other cats and wants to be alone like a Queen or King! This is your journey with your baby! He’s a gorgeous little ball of fur! 🤍🖤🤍 Enjoy!
He's so cute!!🥹 I’m so happy for you! I've had my bunny Penelope for 5 years now. My mom even has her own bunny too. My baby is truly my best fuzzy friend for life. She’s the sweetest. I wish the best for you and your bunny! 💕
He is so cute! I think it is wonderful how you did your research and had everything ready for him when you got home. Wishing you and fig many happy times!
In case no one else has mentioned it, I would HIGHLY advise against using that bubble wrap and pee pads as there’s a good chance he’ll chew them and it will cause a blockage. Also, you should look into ordering hay in bulk from a farm as it’s way more cost effective and you get enough to last u a few months, depending on the size of bale u buy. The hay in that bag you bought won’t last very long even with a baby. He’s sooooo cute and I can’t wait to check back for more bunny videos! 🐰💞
Congratulations! Bunnies are the best! the farm we got our first ones was 3 hrs away. Worse than that if we're ever in the area we can't help but stopping by. Our last one was a rescue and she's the sweetest little thing ever! Perfect in every way. Now we just have get old grump grandpa (he's only 3) to accept her. They're as easy as pie to take care of, you learn quick. xpen mini fences everywhere they can get into mischief.
Please get him a friend! I know you said "you dont have the capacity for 2" but if you dont have room for 2 you shouldnt get 1 and humans are not enough social interaction to keep them satisfied, they need friends! I dont want this to come across as mean or rude i just want the best for your baby and want him to live a happy life but please get him a friend ❤
Yep I’ve also said it’s on the cards for the future, fig will probably have a friend one day but some bunnies I’ve heard just don’t get along well with other bunnies, (fights, etc) so it’s not always feasible to have two. my friend Lauras bunny is 10 years old a very happy bunny with his owners working from home ❤️ I’m open to it though! 😊
I don't wanna sound rude either, but I'm so tired of hearing stuff like this. It shouldn't just be "on the cards in the future" - rabbits are social animals full stop. Yes, bonding is hard, but there are tips out there on how it can be done successfully, you just gotta do your research. There are way too many yotubers with only single rabbits... y'all are setting a bad example
@@beccischnecki7101 let her focus on her baby right now. She's still learning how to care for one bunny. It's smart of her to gain experience before taking on another one.
Great job to you for doing all this research when you decided to take in a bunny, even though you had never thought about it before! So many people get a bun without knowing how to properly care for them and not expecting how expensive they can get. And your little fluff ball looks absolutely lovely
I have about 3 bunnies and I have some tips. First of... your doing literally a amazing job, like honestly. It makes me so happy to see someone dedicated to getting a bunny and doing proper research. I would say if possible try to expand his pen/cage a bit more, especially if hes a lop he will get much bigger. Im so relieved to see you didnt get a pet store cage, those are not a proper home fore bunnies. I would also try to add maybe some old blankets in there to make it comfier, my bunnies like to "make their bed" with the blankets and it keeps them very entertained. To absorb the pee if you just go to the store or the dollar store and get dish mats or any sort of absorbent mats and bath mats, trust me its a life saver. When they get peed on or get dirty all you have to do it run them through the washer and dryer. If your looking for nice mats and cage liners try The pig room. The products and website is directed towards Guinea pigs the products and treats are safe for bunnies. The pig room is also a UA-cam channel and the guy who runs it has a bunch of bunnies he rescues and gives great information and tips about bunnies.Lastly, maybe try to find more enrichment for him, like I said the pig room is great for that stuff. Amazon has pellet balls, and you just fill them with pellets or peaflakes and they will push it aound to try an get them out. Rabbits love lettuce and veggies, mine love pea flakes. There are certian herbs you can give them and you can buys bags or herbs that are prepared and safe for bunnies. Honestly your doing great, this makes me so happy to find someone actually caring about the needs of bunnies. I know that was a lot to read, and im not sure you will see this but if you do I hope this helps.
Use puppy training pads to line the litter box.. I get them in the pound shop for cheap. I have two rescue bunnies I’m currently trying to bond. Bunnies are the best🥺😍
It's fun to see people adopt other pets, and seeing all the work it takes for a bunny, I'm so glad that I'm a cat guy. For a little bit we "watched" a neighbor's bunny as it just came to our backyard so we fed it some lettuce and we have some wild bunnies.
Everything was going so well until you decided to take him outside to the park 🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️ You should really not do that, it’s not safe to do so, it will cause him stress.
He needs to go outside for vet trips etc so it’s important to start that exposure at this age, he was perfectly safe in his carrier box, and it was a very quiet park bench 😊
Hey, I was a rabbit owner for 15 years. A little advice: use wood stove pellets for litter. They absorb the rabbit urine and odor and are non toxic. And cheap for a big bag. Put the hay at one quarter of the litter box for your rabbit to feed on. Congrats
Hii! Thank you for sharing a new member of your family, Fig! I have a lop named Coffee that I also got from a breeder. I also love how you did your research prior to adopting! What some people don’t know or consider is that there are some breeders who put down bunnies at an early age cause they are not considered “sellable” anymore. Altogether, I had three (3) bunnies my oldest passed away this year at 13 but two (2) of my bunnies were from breeders. I still considered alternatives but in my city at time didn’t have adoptions for bunnies. After picking them up I found out that my bunnies who were only 4-6 months at the time (from different sellers) were going to be put down and sold as pet food. p.s. I am not saying it’s either wrong or right but that all bunnies deserve a chance of a loving home and a well treat owner. I believe it was fate that led me to meet my bunnies ❤️. We all learn as we go as bun owners!

Please keep posting him! I’m loving this bunny content and a lot of people usually just record themselves getting the bunnies and then they’re never to be seen again. Please more fig content🙏
Coming soon ❤❤
So true Fig is ADORABLE!!!😱😍💋❤️💋🤌
@@itslilycameron set a separate channel for it as well

sooner you will have to get a female for it so its going to be the family channel for him
As a long time bunny owner, I'm so happy for this video because it shows how to properly welcome a bunny into your house : with weeks of preparations, research, and excitement ! So many people get a bunny on a whim and they turn depressed or die so fast because of improper care, this video was definitely resfreshing.
I agree! I got so excited when I saw the amount of research and prep she did before getting Fig!
I thought bunnies need to be in pairs or they die from depression.
Fig has such a funny little personality, each day he gets older I can see it more and more ❤️
We love an educated pet owner!!!
Please keep posting about him!
she didn;t adopt tho... sadly
Have you considered adoption? While breeders keep breeding, thousands of dumped pets end up in rescues. Also bunnies need a bunny friend.
So true, I looked into a few shelters and there wasn’t any bunnies near me but fig will probably had a friend one day, right now i don’t have capacity for 2, I’m learning to handle one, and I will wait until he is neutered due to territorial behaviour and injury risk. definitely on the cards in future !
@@itslilycameron sounds good! Enjoy your time with your little cutie!
Not all bunnies need a bunny friend
Not all bunnies belong in pairs! I’ve had my rabbit since he was a few months old and he’s my only bun, he’s thriving well by himself (he’s turning 2 In June!) and adores getting my attention only lol, so I think your all good having a single bunny!
i love women and how we get so excited over pets 😭😭
Hey just a tip for bunnies: it’s best to have 2 bunnies bc there can become depressed if they don’t have someone like themselves ❤
And when you do you're out of the team! I'm still love them but i'm just a provider who care about!😂
@@jackmarsa 😂😂😂
It's not actually necessary, I have 1 bunny and it's so happy and healthy (depends on the bunny)
hey! bunny owner here :) i just wanted to say your doing a great job at being a bun mom so far! one thing I want to mention is if you do get another bunny in the future there are lots of animal shelters with rabbits in need of a home, and they often come spayed/neutered so you dont have to worry abt the expense as getting my bun spayed was very expensive (but worth it obviously lol). Ik you mentioned you like lop eared rabbits (which shelters often don't have) but lops tend to be the bulldogs of rabbit breeds bc they often have many more health concerns due to the state of their ears and their snouts, as the way their bred makes them cute but causes more issues with their teeth, eyes, nose and ears. also no hate! just though it was important to consider and be aware of
Thankyou for your comment and advice! If fig gets a friend in future I’ll definitely look into shelters again ❤️
Our shelter spays and neuters buns and the adoption fee is only 30 dollars! It's a damn good deal!
Edit:
To add, and maybe you also already know this, but as a fellow lop-ear owner I want to add to be sure to pay attention to any nose/breathing issues as well as to keep an eye out on their ears and eyes.
One day fig may have a friend! But for now I’ll bond with fig and see my options in 6 months to a year 💕
@itslilycameron That sounds very reasonable to me.
Happiest, sweetest, loving buns!!🤍✨ congrats on your new little one🎉

please consider rescuing bunnies first for anyone watching this
He’s getting lots of pellets everyday ❤️❤️
@@itslilycameron ohhh ok I thought that u were feeding it to him as a treat so thats why i said that! My apologies, your a great owner! My mistake on that I should definitely pay more attention lol! Love the video! ❤️
You should have got 2, they're social. Very cute!
Agree. However, bunnies must be bonded. Not all bunnies get along. Bunnies who hate each other will fight; seriously injure, and kill each other. Getting a torn up bunny mended is very expensive. These sweet, otherwise adorable creatures can have beasts inside.
On another comment she said she is going to get another one she just doesn’t have the capacity right now
Lennon the bunny's HOP litterbox is the perfect bunny litterbox! Once you get tired of hay being everywhere, give that a looksie!

OH. MY. Thank you.. ❤
Could you make a tutorial on the notions page for the bunny? ❤❤❤ he is so cute!
I was wondering 😅
Congratulations! Fig is so adorable! I have 2 bunnies. The most important health issues are their teeth which can grow if misaligned or get spurs that need trimming and GI Stasis. I am sure you researched this first as you said and seem so responsible. Your video showed up on my home page and I enjoyed it very much. Enjoy your bunny!
Congrats to having a bunny(or two)
I get y’all are so concerned about the bunny’s well being but she has done a lot of research.
Ikr.
OMG YES !!
Ikr
Play dates are actually not a great idea. Bunnies should only be introduced to each other if they are meant to permanently live together.
Considering that's a baby bunny and she has the diet for an adult I don't think so.
Oh my gosh!! He is such a beautiful bunny and the cutest name ever :) you make such a great bunny mom!! Can't wait to see more adventures with you & Fig!! Congrats!
I love him so much 🥰
Rabbits are social animals meaning they need a buddy, try finding a buddy for fig he is very cute as well!
I want one
They dont NEED a bunny, they probably would like one but they don't need one. I have 1 rabbit and she's just as happy as paired rabbits
So really rabbits don't need to be paired to experience affection and love!
Not all bunnies NEED a friend I have a bunny of my own and she's always happy some people don't know enough about bunnies
My little sister and I just watched this video and fell in love with Fig!! Sending lots of love 🫶🏽✨
So cute that you watched together 🥰
12:53 If you get the vet workers to take the bunny, then you leave the room and come back to take the pet home. That will give the pet the impression that you came to ‘save’ them and they won’t hate you
That breed of bunny is so adorable even with those droopy ears.
As a bunny dad myself, I can tell that you're going to be a great bunny parent. Welcome to the amazing world of having a bunny!
I hope you have 2+ bunnies as they can't be kept alone. They're herd animals🤍. And a human can't replace a bunny friend :).

I hope you have 2+ bunnies as they can't be kept alone. They're herd animals🤍. And a human can't replace a bunny friend :).
You seem super well-read about bunnies and Fig seems rather at ease in his new home. I just wanted to mention two things: the t-shirt in the carrier was a good idea for when he's getting used to you, but I recommend always keeping a towel in the carrier for later. Also, please avoid wearing claw clips when you're in the car, because those can really mess up your spine and skull if you get into a car accident, otherwise nothing to say
Enjoy the bunny life! ^^
Thanks for the advice ❤️ appreciated!

BRO THANK YOU FOR MAKING THIS VID! im obsessed w people making vlogs about aimals and no one has made a vid in a LONGGGGG time!
Aww it looks like your taking an amazing job of caring for him! He is absolutely adorable, glad you were able to get him from an ethical breeder! ❤
Not many people do there research before getting a pet and I’m really happy to see you take the time to really take care of Fig and you’re going to be a great bunny owner
Fig is really adorable ❤
prepare your phone storage girlie it's gonna be full of fig 🤭 and cherish the baby moments
Omg I’m already out of storage 😭😭 he’s taken over
I have an indoor/outdoor rabbit, he comes in and out as he pleases like a cat.
Ok good to know! He’s petty much already got toilet training down so I’m not using the puppy pads anymore 💕
It’s so cute you got all gussied up to meet your baby bunny!!!!🥰
Of course, best dressed !!
We used to have 12 mini lops (and 40 others) and they’re by far my favourite. Love how fluffy their are and their droopy ears.
That lop named Blue is so cute!
i've had 2 bunnies in the past (they passed recently), but they were so cute for a little over a year of me having them :). i pray your lil baby bunny will stay happy and healthy 🩷
Please get two. They are highly social animals and need a friend!
Yes such a big commitment! I know not everyone has space or capacity for two so if you work from home it’s best to give them the loving they need💕
adopt dont shop, sooo many bunnies are in need of adoption. in shlters, from lab testing, from the meat industry....
Yah social interactions between two social members of the same species isn’t the same as them interacting with humans
@@itslilycameron if you dont have the Space for two than you shouldnt buy one! Here in Germany its called abuse when you keep a rabbit alone!

Pets are destiny, she and he will be happy together....😊🥰
Great job to you for doing all this research when you decided to take in a bunny, even though you had never thought about it before! So many people get a bun without knowing how to properly care for them and not expecting how expensive they can get. And your little fluff ball looks absolutely lovely
THATS SO CUTE but don’t hold your bunny,at the ears, neck, or the fold, the fold can hurt their back posture
Adopt, don't buy rabbits. There's plenty of rabbits out there looking for a forever home, even Holland Lops.
Can I ask why? I am thinking about getting a bunny. 😁
that bunny is unlimited cuteness. I kinda want one.

You should’ve got both of the bunnies because they are social creatures
I know what I’m saying I’ve had a bunny for three years
Omg your baby bunny is so cute ❤
Bunny's are social animals you need two
Definitely on the cards for future! but not possible right now ❤️
It's fun to see people adopt other pets, and seeing all the work it takes for a bunny, I'm so glad that I'm a cat guy. For a little bit we "watched" a neighbor's bunny as it just came to our backyard so we fed it some lettuce and we have some wild bunnies.
Everything was going so well until you decided to take him outside to the park 🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️
You should really not do that, it’s not safe to do so, it will cause him stress.
Congrats
Uhh is it weird that my name Lily Cameron 😳😬
Liar
