Hey, everyone! It's come to my attention that some people who are Latino/Latina don't like the label 'Latinx.' The articles I was reading for research referred to stuff as 'Latinx,' and I knew that some people preferred that. I was trying to be respectful to the community, but you guys have let me know you don't like that. I so much appreciate you guys letting me know, and I'll be sure to say Latino/Latina in the future. :)
Thank you. Latino is a neutral term in our language. And the whole latinx isn’t and shouldn’t be a replacement for Latino. I personally don’t like the whole latinx word because it really came out of nowhere these past few years, but if a person identifies as latinx that’s fine but as a group of people Latino is the best a preferred name.
I was a fellow cable-less household. Pbs kids was the mainstay, but every so often I'd watch Qubo, and find interesting stuff now and then. Never would have seen nearly the number of kids shows I have without that channel, especially more obscure stuff, like "Sherlock Holmes in the 22nd century".
@@crabfinated I'm from the United States and I watched many great shows when I was a kid like Rupert, Maisy Mouse etc etc. Before I watched Qubo I watched Anime on CW 4KIDS, CW 4kids toonami and WB Kids.
Qubo was a big part of my childhood as a kid. When the weekend was too far away for my favorite cartoons and PBS was just not cutting it for the day, Qubo was where I’d get my need met until 6 am Saturday.

I’m glad people are still talking about this channel! I used to love watching Qubo almost every day until it shutdown in 2021. It’s really sad that it’s no longer on TV anymore.
I watched qubo a lot as a kid and with kids from my apartment and we watched for hours and tons of my favorite childhood shows were from qubo and when I remembered about it I wanted to revisit it but I saw that most shows weren't able to be found and were considered "lost media" but I'm happy some people remembered
My tale of lost media is the original Math Monsters. There's a remake but I remember a horrendously animated original version because there was an episode about ants and fractions.

Qubo was a massive part of my childhood even when we used to have cable. But when we moved to Illinois, and house after house, there is no cable. As of February 2021, Qubo was then officially discontinued which makes me feel rather disappointed, meaning that I can't watch any more of the Qubo content. Thanks a lot, Scripps. You've completely wrecked the best part of my childhood. I think you should go to hell.
i remember our tv didnt have qubo but anytime we went down to my great grandmothers house, qubo was the only cartoon channel she had. wild shows but mesmerizing. great video, keep up the good work!
Wow, what an amazing blast from the past to see this pop up in my feed. Qubo was a GEM that I still think about to this day. Their lineup was truly amazing. And even the later shows weren't that bad imo. It's just when they started gearing more and more towards younger kids that I really dropped off watching all together personally. I really miss channels and blocks that cater towards tween and young teen demographics of animation more-so than the very young kids stuff. Class Of The Titans, Jacob Two-Two, Bravestar, Being Ian, Sherlock Holmes In The 22nd Century, Animorphs. It was a good time to be alive lol and Yes, JTT was terrifying, but that's what made us AWESOME lmao

loved qubo growing up, even though i had cable, i still watched it whenever there was nothing interesting on, and oh my god the night hours, i remember watching he-man with my dad once and it was on qubo at like 11 pm lmao
speaking of qubo, i actually got to contact ew scripps about the channel's shut down during a press conference which i was invited to, they said something like "we brought them out to be bigger" or something
OMG Qubo was my childhood. My favorite shows were Jane & the Dragon, Zula Patrol, Turbo Dogs, and 3 2 1 Penguin. I also grew to like Willa's Wildlife and Pearlie. Other than that, I also remember them putting older shows like The Magic School Bus, Rescue Heroes, He Man, and Archie's Weird Mysteries, which are all really good too!
Qubo was really underrated it had fire shows like my personal favorites: Grossology , todds world, Jacob-two-two, jaker the adventures of piggley wink, animal atlas, the 2 barbar shows, fishtronaut, Doki, my friend rabbit and miss spider's sunny patch friends (i had a crush on miss spider as a kid...idk why)
So when I was a little younger I used to watch Qubo at my grandma’s house since she didn’t have cable, but then my grandma’s tv stopped working and my dad got her a new one which is very different than her old one and has more channels, the last time I watched qubo was back like before 2019 or 2020.
It was so surreal to hear you say you grew up on Smile Of A Child, PBS Kids, and Qubo. That was my childhood! My favorite Qubo shows were Pecola, Jacob Two-Two, (seriously top tier, you should give it another watch), Dragon, Being Ian, Marvin the Tap Dancing Horse, Turbo Dogs, Harry and His Bucket Full of Dinosaurs, and George and Martha. Pecola and Jacob Two-Two are my all time favorites.

I was born in 2004 (currently 19) and I was 2 when Qubo launched in 2006. Qubo made me feel like the cool kid, every single preschool show that I liked was on Qubo, my friends didn't have Qubo on their analog TV, and they would always come over to my house to watch VeggieTales, Inspector Gadget, Franklin the Turtle, Alfred Hedgehog, Bob the Builder, Doki, Joe & Jack, Dive Olly Dive!, Justin Time, Pet Alien, Animal Science, and Fireman Sam while we ate bags of pretzels (and cups of mustard for dipping), apple juice, and we also brought round salted crackers from home to eat for a snack, those were the good times, they're all over now :(

I watched it when it launched on Sprout in 2010's, along with Poppy Cat, Barney, Chloe's Closet, Play With Me Sesame, 64 Zoo Lane, etc. I miss Qubo and Sprout. Those were my favorite channels to watch besides Disney Channel, Nickelodeon and Cartoon Network.
Man I remember Qubo, especially the 24 hour channel it had, which oddly enough I still remembered existing even around 2017 if I could recall some memories. It was a while back so my memories are a bit hazy on the details.
@ballorafuntime7567, I loved Jacob Two Two and I wish it was still on. I loved all cartoons on there that I wish were on Netflix or Disney Plus today. Jacob's theme song was really catchy, loved it. I didn't know Jacob Two Two was also a book until I read a Babysitters Club book about the wrestling book that was an episode. I miss Qubo and I want it back.
i can't find any proof of it, but i remember qubo as the channel that i watched a show called "beakmans world" on. this was in the mid-late 2000's. i don't know if my memory is wrong and i somehow found it on another channel but associate it with qubo. i wasn't in canada though, in fact i didn't even know qubo was from canada til now..

Qubo was the bomb back when I was 10 to 12 years old. Some of my favorite shows on there were He-Man, She-Ra, Bravestarr, The Mysteries of Alfred Hedgehog, Pearlie, The Zula Patrol, & Jane and the Dragon. I've had so many good memories with those shows & I enjoy watching them with my niece.
Qubo Channel was my JAM!! I really missed watching all of the amazing shows that has passed. My favorites were (And I still watch them till' this day): 1 Gofrette 2 The Zula Patrol 3 Shelldon 4 The Mysteries of Alfred Hedgehog 5 Rupert 6 Sitting Ducks 7 Jane and the Dragon 8 Babar 9 Timothy Goes to School 10 Adventures from the Book of Virtues And I also remember that me and my sister would stay up late just to watch the awesome shows from the 80's. Thank you for the video, I enjoyed it. It's great to see other people who grew up with this program channel.
I had cable but in my area in NYC, I noticed that there were relatives that didn’t have cable and they had Qubo. About a few months before my 14th birthday in 2014, I asked my mom to get me Qubo because i wanted to have the tv shows. Let’s say I was very lucky to not only have Cable but to have access to Qubo as well
I loved the Zula Patrol when I was in kindergarten. I even dressed up as the orange guy for Halloween! My parents made a custom papier-mache costume for me since there were none on the market
I know this is all about this 2006 children company for TV shows like Qubo but PVS kids probably outlasted Kubo and release very popular shows, especially in the early 2000s like Teletubbies, Sesame Street or Mr. Rogers neighborhood and super why… The stuff really affected kids all around the world especially in the US Not just for enjoyment and for learning, but also for nostalgia and for heart string tagging the most common sure I usually watch in PBS Kids is Sesame Street
Well, PBS also outlasted Qubo because it was a PUBLIC broadcasting service, so they were funded by the community. Qubo was in the private sector, so it's owners had the rights to shut it down.
Girl I don’t think they were looking up the white spider to thirst after him. There was like a meme a few years ago where people thought he looked like James Charles white face makeup look, so that’s probably why it comes up first because that was the most relevant aspect of the show in the present time
I hope you're right. There's still an insane amount of Rule 34 for him specifically, but I would be deeply at peace to know the Google was because of a meme
I grew up on Qubo, often watching it before school when I was in Preschool and early kindergarten. I adored the shows they had, and watched it for many years. RIP Qubo
My only complaint with this video is that you said Latinx, which no one that is a Latino likes to be called ( I would know, I am one ), other than that the video was a nostalgia blast and was a good video overall, definitely deserving of a subscription

Qubo closed?! I had no idea. My brothers and I started watching Qubo (and Smile of a Child) back in early 2012 when we got over-the-air tv. Some of the shows were definitely not our cup of tea, but I remember having to watch them because there was nothing else on. XD The youngest of my brothers was too little to remember any of the shows, but my oldest brother and I could talk for hours about the odd selection of shows contained on thag channel. Idk why, but for some reason, it blows my mind that there are other people who watched, and enjoyed, Qubo. XD

I remember working on sell sheets for Race Dogs, along with Word Girl, the Goosebumps Revival, and 39 Clues, when working in the marketing department in Scholastic. I did watch Qubo for the late night shows from my childhood and Baber. I was bummed in 2001 when it closed, cause my kid who was 2 at the time liked some of the shows.

My memories of watching qubo were after when they started to add “sorry shows” and before I seen this video yesterday i had a conversation with a friend about qubo however i was losing him the shows because the only shows he mentioned that i knew were Jane and the dragon, and Jacob two two. The same goes for him because he tells me about how he watched the shows till he was six(hes 16) and i watched qubo from 3 to 10( im 15)but even his mom got in the conversation and talked about how the show with the elaphants were good, Hispanics love qubo but yea i grew up watching sally bollywood, famous 5, the show with the animals that solve mysteries just to name a phew however even tho i grew up in the sorry era of qubo the channel still holds so much value to me today
I was crying realy loud when Qubo ended back in Spring 2021, but I'm 17 years old and now I almost grew out of it, also Fox Kids is amazing, who misses Fox Kids anyway? it's got some coolest action-packed cartoons and big kids shows there. even Cartoon Network Powerhouse era will be missed. even Boomerang from Cartoon Network.

Qubo, PBS KIds, and Smile (on 50-3) were my childhood. Qubo was pretty much my favourite. Discovered it through ion kids. I was allowed to watch other stuff, but I stuck to the main three. Not even Netflix could keep me from it. The laptop only slightly. Then I slowly moved towards the laptop. I must have only gotten the good shows on Qubo, because I never saw whatever the Spider patch thing was or some of the apparently bad shows. I still watched TV until we moved. Some day in early 2022, I remembered Qubo existed and went to go check on it. But it was gone. 28-2 was gone. R.I.P. Qubo. You will be missed.
Mrs. Spider's Sunnypatch Kids is a classic, my friend. We stan the horribly 3D animated series based on the famous books. But, yeah, I totally felt the same. We also discovered it through ion kids! Kind of crazy that kids these days (I'm an old woman) will just never know about flicking through non-cable channels
It's a shame Scripps closed down Qubo and not made it online only like they did Ion Plus. The only pure children's programming are e/i programmings from PBS, or TBN's smile.

I remember watching qubo for hours and hours with my sister when i was a kid because i didn't have cable, around late 2014 or 2015 i watched qubo less since i was watching nickelodeon more and cartoon network and the last time i watched qubo was 2019 luckily my mom recorded shows on qubo for me.
I first watched qubo in the summer of 2009 and I enjoyed it so much. From 2009-mid 2012, I would watch it all the time. By mid 2012 I had moved out of my old apartment and I had forgotten about it. I finally revisited it in mid 2014 and it pretty much fell for me at that point. As time went on, I revisited it again in the summer of 2017 and it continued to go downhill. After that, I never watched it again. When it was shut down, it didn't surprise me. I miss those days from 2009 to 2012.

I Grew up with the Telemundo version of qubo. Which was awesome, but than when they had a 24/7 channel. My little kid mind was happy! I did not grow with cable also. so i watched it on the TV. I watched it everytime i cameback from school.
Smile of a Child hit me like a truck, i forgot about that for years. I asked a couple of friends of mine about Jane and the Dragon and Zula Patrol because I could vividly remember the intros but they didn't know what i was talking about and i thought i was going crazy lol.
@@crabfinated I don't remember if it was SoaC but there was one Christian children's show I can't remember the name of where there was no spoken dialogue, all the dialogue was done in ASL and dubbed over translated to English.
I distinctly remember watching it just for VeggieTales, but watching this video I’m quite impressed by the lineup they had! I never even knew that Theodore Tugboat was on it at one point! I remember watching a lot of Zula Patrol, but I remember seeing it through PBS Kids and not Qubo tho. Really great video and I’m excited to see what else you make!
@@crabfinated its my dads old antenna and i havent plugged it up in some time, but i believe it still ran qubo (very glitchy and badly tho) in 2022! I will have to dive in my closet to find it and test it then i will tell you results.
@@crabfinated sadly qubo disappeared on antenna. I calibrated the antenna 23 times and still no qubo. But after 12th recalibration i got ion and scripps. I checked with ChatGPT and it said i may have experienced repeats of old shows on my anntenna and eventually it chaught up and stopped getting qubo.
My family did had cable for a bit, but cut the cord when I was only like 5, and since my parents didn’t trust me with the internet at all, most of my childhood was spent watching local access television, with qubo being a huge part of that. You never know, sometimes being a broke ass kid pays off.(also class of the titans and being Ian were my SHIT! I remember staying up past midnight to watch those shows. )

Because I had an antenna set up when my daughter was little and we would stay up just to watch HeMan. I was so disappointed after I got it set up again just learn Qubo was not there
Qubo was certainly something. Honestly, if you were a fan of Canadian cartoons or just under the radar shows, they had you covered. I didn't watch it a lot growing up. But I do remember seeing Sitting Ducks on there. Though I remember seeing it and Pet Alien on Cartoon Network in 2005

Jane and the dragon was my FAVORITE show cause I was always into dragons, but a show I never see being talked about is Sandra the fairy tale detective. That was another show I watched but I remember it also SCARING me, particularly this one episode with the dude with 6 wives then killed his 6 wives and I just remember that scene where she dropped the key in a puddle of blood and looked up and there’s skeletons of the wives. Have not seen that in YEARS, but I remember that traumatized me. Was it as bad as I remember? No idea cause I can’t find any clips of it. But I remember it getting dark at times. Cannot find much of it though I hope someone knows what I’m talking about lol
I grew up in southern California and watched Qubo from the ages of 7-10 years old. Around 2012 we got Netflix and thats when I stopped watching qubo. I also rmemeber really loving some of the shows on there like Jacob-two-two, babar, , sitting ducks, jane and the dragon, Zula patrol, 3..2..1 penguins, rupert, Turbo dogs, wilas wild life, my friend rabbit, Pearlie, Gofrette, and im sure theres another show i forgot to mention. Also I kinda remember the channel having a late night show that for some reaason I thought was for older kids. I've only met one other person who actually watched this channel so this video is really cool to watch. P.S. I always thought rescue heroes was annoying and i don't remember why.
Rescue Heroes is the best *sobbing* Take Billy Blazes' name out o' ya dang mouth. Honestly though, Zula Patrol slapped in so many ways. And I also thought the late-night channels as for older kids, but it was just He-Man... like, He-Man is fine haha

I didn’t really start watching TV on my own until around 2010 when my dad had bought our first HDTV with parental controls making it safer for us kids to watch (We had guessed the passcode fairly quickly but we were good kids so we didn’t abuse that too much). That’s when at 11PM one night, I flipped the TV to Qubo, and I saw these old, almost Hana-Barbera looking cartoons that I knew were about to be good in that good old-fashioned way. Apparently the Filmation shows post Fat Albert had eluded me until this moment… Boy howdy I was having a real He-Man/Brave Starr phase for a while. I knew they were super cheesy but I couldn’t tear myself away from them.

This brings back so many memories!! qubo showed up randomly on my family’s tv set one day, and although I was a bit older at the time (I was a die-hard PBS kid growing up; we never had cable), several of the shows were just really fun to watch, such as Pearlie, Miss BG, Willa’s Wild Life, Jacob Two-Two, Marvin the Tap Dancing Horse (fun fact: I remember loving this on PBS when I was a kid), Adventures from the Book of Virtues (another childhood favorite), Being Ian, and Spliced. However, qubo also inherited my greatest childhood fear from PBS Kids…Lamb Chop. The giant costumed performer of Lamb Chop that occasionally showed up haunted my nightmares well into my teens. Although I did like Sesame Street as a kid, and I LOVED Between the Lions, I wasn’t really a big puppet person. 75% of puppets are just creepy to me. (Ironically, I never minded Barney and thought the Teletubbies were adorable.)
I grew up with Qubo too…would constantly watch the shows on their or switch channels between TruTv or G4…my favorite was Sammy’s Story Shop or Artzooka

A lot of Qubo stuff can be found online! For example, there's a whole Pecola playlist here on UA-cam

Wow, what an amazing blast from the past to see this pop up in my feed. Qubo was a GEM that I still think about to this day. Their lineup was truly amazing. And even the later shows weren't that bad imo. It's just when they started gearing more and more towards younger kids that I really dropped off watching all together personally. I really miss channels and blocks that cater towards tween and young teen demographics of animation more-so than the very young kids stuff. Class Of The Titans, Jacob Two-Two, Bravestar, Being Ian, Sherlock Holmes In The 22nd Century, Animorphs. It was a good time to be alive lol and Yes, JTT was terrifying, but that's what made us AWESOME lmao

OMG Qubo was my childhood. My favorite shows were Jane & the Dragon, Zula Patrol, Turbo Dogs, and 3 2 1 Penguin. I also grew to like Willa's Wildlife and Pearlie. Other than that, I also remember them putting older shows like The Magic School Bus, Rescue Heroes, He Man, and Archie's Weird Mysteries, which are all really good too!

Qubo was really underrated it had fire shows like my personal favorites: Grossology , todds world, Jacob-two-two, jaker the adventures of piggley wink, animal atlas, the 2 barbar shows, fishtronaut, Doki, my friend rabbit and miss spider's sunny patch friends (i had a crush on miss spider as a kid...idk why)
So when I was a little younger I used to watch Qubo at my grandma’s house since she didn’t have cable, but then my grandma’s tv stopped working and my dad got her a new one which is very different than her old one and has more channels, the last time I watched qubo was back like before 2019 or 2020.

My favorite Qubo shows were Pecola, Jacob Two-Two, (seriously top tier, you should give it another watch), Dragon, Being Ian, Marvin the Tap Dancing Horse, Turbo Dogs, Harry and His Bucket Full of Dinosaurs, and George and Martha.

I was born in 2004 (currently 19) and I was 2 when Qubo launched in 2006. Qubo made me feel like the cool kid, every single preschool show that I liked was on Qubo, my friends didn't have Qubo on their analog TV, and they would always come over to my house to watch VeggieTales, Inspector Gadget, Franklin the Turtle, Alfred Hedgehog, Bob the Builder, Doki, Joe & Jack, Dive Olly Dive!, Justin Time, Pet Alien, Animal Science, and Fireman Sam while we ate bags of pretzels (and cups of mustard for dipping), apple juice, and we also brought round salted crackers from home to eat for a snack, those were the good times, they're all over now :(
Well they don't have to be over forever :) We can all enjoy Qubo, AND pretzels still exist!

I watched it when it launched on Sprout in 2010's, along with Poppy Cat, Barney, Chloe's Closet, Play With Me Sesame, 64 Zoo Lane, etc. I miss Qubo and Sprout. Those were my favorite channels to watch besides Disney Channel, Nickelodeon and Cartoon Network.
Man I remember Qubo, especially the 24 hour channel it had, which oddly enough I still remembered existing even around 2017 if I could recall some memories. It was a while back so my memories are a bit hazy on the details.
Jacob two two was scary, but you must admit, anything that scares us as kids become our all time favorites! Jacob two two was the bomb!

@ballorafuntime7567, I loved Jacob Two Two and I wish it was still on. I loved all cartoons on there that I wish were on Netflix or Disney Plus today. Jacob's theme song was really catchy, loved it. I didn't know Jacob Two Two was also a book until I read a Babysitters Club book about the wrestling book that was an episode. I miss Qubo and I want it back.

Qubo was the bomb back when I was 10 to 12 years old. Some of my favorite shows on there were He-Man, She-Ra, Bravestarr, The Mysteries of Alfred Hedgehog, Pearlie, The Zula Patrol, & Jane and the Dragon. I've had so many good memories with those shows & I enjoy watching them with my niece.

6:30 The Qubo channel still existed as a 24\7 channel until 2021. It was the block on Ion television that had it's schedule reduced.

I had cable but in my area in NYC, I noticed that there were relatives that didn’t have cable and they had Qubo. About a few months before my 14th birthday in 2014, I asked my mom to get me Qubo because i wanted to have the tv shows. Let’s say I was very lucky to not only have Cable but to have access to Qubo as well

I know this is all about this 2006 children company for TV shows like Qubo but PVS kids probably outlasted Kubo and release very popular shows, especially in the early 2000s like Teletubbies, Sesame Street or Mr. Rogers neighborhood and super why… The stuff really affected kids all around the world especially in the US

Well, PBS also outlasted Qubo because it was a PUBLIC broadcasting service, so they were funded by the community. Qubo was in the private sector, so it's owners had the rights to shut it down.

There was like a meme a few years ago where people thought he looked like James Charles white face makeup look, so that’s probably why it comes up first because that was the most relevant aspect of the show in the present time

Qubo closed?! I had no idea. My brothers and I started watching Qubo (and Smile of a Child) back in early 2012 when we got over-the-air tv. Some of the shows were definitely not our cup of tea, but I remember having to watch them because there was nothing else on. XD The youngest of my brothers was too little to remember any of the shows, but my oldest brother and I could talk for hours about the odd selection of shows contained on thag channel.

I remember working on sell sheets for Race Dogs, along with Word Girl, the Goosebumps Revival, and 39 Clues, when working in the marketing department in Scholastic. I did watch Qubo for the late night shows from my childhood and Baber. I was bummed in 2001 when it closed, cause my kid who was 2 at the time liked some of the shows.

My memories of watching qubo were after when they started to add “sorry shows” and before I seen this video yesterday i had a conversation with a friend about qubo however i was losing him the shows because the only shows he mentioned that i knew were Jane and the dragon, and Jacob two two. The same goes for him because he tells me about how he watched the shows till he was six(hes 16) and i watched qubo from 3 to 10( im 15)but even his mom got in the conversation and talked about how the show with the elaphants were good, Hispanics love qubo but yea i grew up watching sally bollywood, famous 5, the show with the animals that solve mysteries just to name a phew however even tho i grew up in the sorry era of qubo the channel still holds so much value to me today
I was crying realy loud when Qubo ended back in Spring 2021, but I'm 17 years old and now I almost grew out of it, also Fox Kids is amazing, who misses Fox Kids anyway? it's got some coolest action-packed cartoons and big kids shows there. even Cartoon Network Powerhouse era will be missed. even Boomerang from Cartoon Network.

Qubo, PBS KIds, and Smile (on 50-3) were my childhood. Qubo was pretty much my favourite. Discovered it through ion kids. I was allowed to watch other stuff, but I stuck to the main three. Not even Netflix could keep me from it. The laptop only slightly. Then I slowly moved towards the laptop. I must have only gotten the good shows on Qubo, because I never saw whatever the Spider patch thing was or some of the apparently bad shows. I still watched TV until we moved. Some day in early 2022, I remembered Qubo existed and went to go check on it. But it was gone. 28-2 was gone. R.I.P. Qubo. You will be missed.
Mrs. Spider's Sunnypatch Kids is a classic, my friend. We stan the horribly 3D animated series based on the famous books. But, yeah, I totally felt the same. We also discovered it through ion kids! Kind of crazy that kids these days (I'm an old woman) will just never know about flicking through non-cable channels
It's a shame Scripps closed down Qubo and not made it online only like they did Ion Plus. The only pure children's programming are e/i programmings from PBS, or TBN's smile.
I really enjoyed Qubo too because they weren't specifically Christian content, which is nice for a lot of non-religious people, y'know?

I first watched qubo in the summer of 2009 and I enjoyed it so much. From 2009-mid 2012, I would watch it all the time. By mid 2012 I had moved out of my old apartment and I had forgotten about it. I finally revisited it in mid 2014 and it pretty much fell for me at that point. As time went on, I revisited it again in the summer of 2017 and it continued to go downhill. After that, I never watched it again. When it was shut down, it didn't surprise me. I miss those days from 2009 to 2012.

@@crabfinated sadly qubo disappeared on antenna. I calibrated the antenna 23 times and still no qubo. But after 12th recalibration i got ion and scripps. I checked with ChatGPT and it said i may have experienced repeats of old shows on my anntenna and eventually it chaught up and stopped getting qubo.

Jane and the dragon was my FAVORITE show cause I was always into dragons, but a show I never see being talked about is Sandra the fairy tale detective. That was another show I watched but I remember it also SCARING me, particularly this one episode with the dude with 6 wives then killed his 6 wives and I just remember that scene where she dropped the key in a puddle of blood and looked up and there’s skeletons of the wives. Have not seen that in YEARS, but I remember that traumatized me. Was it as bad as I remember? No idea cause I can’t find any clips of it. But I remember it getting dark at times. Cannot find much of it though I hope someone knows what I’m talking about lol

I also rmemeber really loving some of the shows on there like Jacob-two-two, babar, , sitting ducks, jane and the dragon, Zula patrol, 3..2..1 penguins, rupert, Turbo dogs, wilas wild life, my friend rabbit, Pearlie, Gofrette, and im sure theres another show i forgot to mention. Also I kinda remember the channel having a late night show that for some reaason I thought was for older kids. I've only met one other person who actually watched this channel so this video is really cool to watch. P.S. I always thought rescue heroes was annoying and i don't remember why.

Honestly though, Zula Patrol slapped in so many ways. And I also thought the late-night channels as for older kids, but it was just He-Man... like, He-Man is fine haha
I remember watching Qubo on channel 32.2 ever since 2009. I’m so sad that Qubo died 😔

I didn’t really start watching TV on my own until around 2010 when my dad had bought our first HDTV with parental controls making it safer for us kids to watch (We had guessed the passcode fairly quickly but we were good kids so we didn’t abuse that too much). That’s when at 11PM one night, I flipped the TV to Qubo, and I saw these old, almost Hana-Barbera looking cartoons that I knew were about to be good in that good old-fashioned way. Apparently the Filmation shows post Fat Albert had eluded me until this moment… Boy howdy I was having a real He-Man/Brave Starr phase for a while. I knew they were super cheesy but I couldn’t tear myself away from them.
Omg I had the same experience, but the girl version. I was at my Grandma's and She Ra came on. What a time to be alive
@@crabfinated She-Ra was fine, but I liked He-Man's cast better. Orko and Skeletor for instance are so much better than Cowl and Hordak and it's not even close.
im prolly the youngest mf to say this since im from 2004 but qubo was fuxking fire!!! i remember watching it before school every morning and watching it when i came home until i passed out on the couch lmao

This brings back so many memories!! qubo showed up randomly on my family’s tv set one day, and although I was a bit older at the time (I was a die-hard PBS kid growing up; we never had cable), several of the shows were just really fun to watch, such as Pearlie, Miss BG, Willa’s Wild Life, Jacob Two-Two, Marvin the Tap Dancing Horse (fun fact: I remember loving this on PBS when I was a kid), Adventures from the Book of Virtues (another childhood favorite), Being Ian, and Spliced.
However, qubo also inherited my greatest childhood fear from PBS Kids…Lamb Chop. The giant costumed performer of Lamb Chop that occasionally showed up haunted my nightmares well into my teens. Although I did like Sesame Street as a kid, and I LOVED Between the Lions, I wasn’t really a big puppet person. 75% of puppets are just creepy to me. (Ironically, I never minded Barney and thought the Teletubbies were adorable.)

I grew up with Qubo too…would constantly watch the shows on their or switch channels between TruTv or G4…my favorite was Sammy’s Story Shop or Artzooka
