Overland M416 Trailer Lid Project: Build Part 9!

This is the 9th video in my M416 overland trailer build series. In this video I build a lid with gas struts to help open it. I am going to build an overlanding trailer that we can take on our adventures. We love the outdoors but don't have enough room travelling across the country in our jeep wrangler. This is going to be a fun build with lots of exciting projects!

I am in the process of building a trailer as well. Working on ideas for a lid. Hard to find info for ideas. You have done a great job and this will help me in my build! Was very helpful seeing you setup the gas struts as I will be doing that as well. Are you painting the top when you are done?Thank you, Bill

Thanks Bill I appreciate it. I don’t plan to paint the aluminum. That will stay natural. I will paint the frame and tub.
