Thank you! 🎣 for me yes! see the trout are always facing upstream into the current, so casting as you’re working upstream spooks less fish, and since your reeling the lure across the fishes face when casting upstream you’re more likely to get the hit as they react to everything they are so predatory, instead of downstream where you’re basically pulling the lure away from the trout, the trout are lightening fast they don’t mind chasing the lure 👌

Where do you get your contour maps for the lake (lough berg) are these sd card charts available or did you map the lake yourself. Thanks dude
Hi John, no problem at all. I’ve actually mapped the lake myself with my autochart sd card in my helix 7, took a long time but very valuable knowing them contours is very important . ☺️
Thanks bud, the mono is the finest it does the trick and is cheap, but it’s definitely more fun playing them on the braid, can feel all the small head shakes, bit more entertaining for the smaller river trout anyway 😅👌 I love the braid for pike tho makes it a lot more fun can really feel their power
Absolutely, most of my trout lures are barbless, this spinner was straight out of the packet so didn’t get the chance to debarb, makes it ten times easier to unhook and much better on the fish

Barbless hooks would be better for the small trout.
