Really nostalgic for me. Bon Jovi was our “local” band before they blew up. I saw them twice on their Slippery When Wet tour and got to meet the band when they came to Seaside Heights to shoot the promo photos for their next album cover (New Jersey). They were refreshingly down to earth normal guys despite having had astronomical global success.
IMHO there are NO bad songs on this album. I am biased as this is my first ever musical love but even after this many years I still love it even more. (also love your reaction to my baby)
The one singing back up on "Never Say Goodbye" is the guitarist Richie Sambora. He also sings backup on "Wanted Dead or Alive"
Richie Sambora means so much to this band, not only voice and guitar but also the song writing. (almost Bon Jovi .9)
When they were in the Netherlands they played this song and everybody went crazy :D This album is so much more then Livin'on a prayer and Bad medicine
There are a couple of outtakes from this album that are worth checking out: Edge of a Broken Heart (which Jon already apologized for not including) & Borderline.
You never stopped smiling the whole time. Love it! Reminded me of when I first heard this album. Truly and epic album with not a single bad song on it. Thanks for a great reaction.
@ 0:15 This song is used in the movie "Spaceballs" (1987)
"Never Say Goodbye" was my 8th grade graduation Dance last song of the night back in1987 . it my favorite one on the Album.
Have you listened to any new rock bands lately?
@@SDsailor7 Yes l have and VERDY has to We both like The Warning.
@@ericgaudet5488 So you know what I mean, that she needs to check out the Warning. 👍
@@SDsailor7 VERDY will get around to listen to there music when she has the time to.
@@ericgaudet5488 Yup, she has a ton of subs.
Guitar player IS Richie sambora
Great album.....Never Say Goodbye just took me back to 6th grade in the 1980s.
Jonny Lang - Second Guessing of his Wander This World album. Something about that song.
Definitely one of the best rock albums from start to finish ever released.
Jon Bon Jovi is New Jersey royalty with Kevin Smith, Frank Sinatra, Danny DeVito, Whitney Houston, John Stewart and James Gandolfini.
U would love their first big hit Runaway!!! So incredibly good. From the album before this one . Bon Jovi 💘💘🤟
Have you listened to any new rock bands lately?
"Runaway" is from their first album BON JOVI not from the album before this one. 7800 DEG FAHRENHEIT was the album before this one.
Have this album and their first one they are great albums.
Absolutely loved your 1984 reaction....svp, ecoute Van Halen 1....j aimerais voir ta reaction....your reactions are authentic.....continue
Hi! I'm from Brazil. Did you ever react to brazilian music? Believe me: brazillians love when someone out of the country react their songs. Trois of the songs you can react: 'Maria Maria' from Milton Nascimento (Clube da Esquina 2 album); 'Como Nossos Pais' from Elis Regina (Falso Brilhante album); and 'Geni e o Zepelim' from Chico Buarque (Ópera do Malandro album), as I know you like flute. Especially the last song, better listen with translated lyrics. Is like a story...
My brain always gets Never Say Goodbye mixed up with Almost Paradise from the Footloose soundtrack, also Raise Your Hands can be found on the Spaceballs soundtrack for when you eventually get around to that reaction (it will be requested if it hasn't been already).
Fab and interesting review - hope you do another album 👌😎. This album has no filler 🙏
I've always felt that I'd Die For You sounds like the lovechild of Runaway and I'll Be There For You (2 other big Bon Jovi songs).
Love your reactions would love to see your reaction to mgk new song don’t let me go it’s really deep
My 1st album
It's a good album, but I always preferred New Jersey. Check it out Verdy girl 👌🎵
Like your reaction :) i would like to give you a suggestion. As a big fan of pink floyd, you should react to Alan Parson Project. You won't regret it :)
Like a couple of Bon Jovi songs but not a big fan. Love to see Verdy check out Steve Winwood when he played for Traffic and Blind Faith. Mr. Fantasy and Can't Find My Way Home are some of the finest songs ever written. Hey Joe by Jimi Hendrix would be nice as well.
I feel the same. Bon Jovi always comes across as safe, bland middle of the road rock and roll. Granted there are a few absolute bangers from them, but I could never get on with the whole 80's hair metal scene. Especially after the epic rock and roll bands of the 70's.
Hair bands and metal bands were all Led Zeppelin wannabes, but without the talent. Not even close!@@SirHilaryManfat
@@SirHilaryManfatThen check out the rock power trio the Warning they rock.
Check out their teatro Metropolitan CDMX live concert 2022 or their Lunario 2018 live performance of their concept album Queen of the Murder Scene and you will see what I am talking about. The drummer was voted best up and coming rock drummer by Modern drummer magazine of 2023 and also won the best Rock drummer of 2023 by the Drumeo awards. And the bassist is a featured Spector bassist since age 14
Yup , Steve Windwood has some great music with those bands.
Have you listened to any good new rock bands recently?
@@SDsailor7 Thanks for the recommendation, I've not heard of that group. Checking it out now.
I love your reactions, one of the few REAL reactors on UA-cam. You really feel the music .I grew up in the 70s n80s still the greatest Era of music ever. A couple albums you might wanna react too are VAN HALEN 5150..KISS DESTROYER...ZZTOP DEGUELLO..all three are in my top ten of all time greatest albums..I grew up in a time where I was going to 2 or 3 concerts a month for like 15 yrs course tickets were $6 to $15 dollars a show, I was so lucky, saw bonjovi ,kiss, zztop, just about everybody and some a bunch like reo speedwagon 6 times Heart 6 times. Thank you for your channel

@@richardyoung3594 Have you heard of a band called the Warning? They are a hard rock band
Please react to incredible skiller Ricardo Quaresma
What types of music do you like listening too?
I am listening to a hard rock power trio called the Warning have you heard their music?
@@SDsailor7 Does she listen to country music?
@@robertday1671 No I don't think so, she was into k-pop
Then she found rock, led zep, pink Floyd, Genesis, so she is in that mode right now.
@@robertday1671 Are you into country music?
@@SDsailor7 I like listening to more of the classic country music. But I can listen to other kind too.
Most overrated band of all time. 🖕
# 2 most overrated. KISS is #1 most overrated.
why you tell that bro?
