Not Fair!🙁 I myself of course got to listen to all these killer bands from the 80’s. It was through my older brother’s boom box! He graduated 1987. I would be so jealous because he was just old enough to start going to all the concerts. I myself, was 9 if this came out in 86? So I wish I could’ve been old enough to know the experience of live concerts. Thank goodness for MTV though. Pre-sellout yrs! Myself & my friends would have sleepovers & go wILD listening to all the newest hits & older ones! Time machine? Anyone? 😭✌️
Yes, the 80's were a great time for music. Those were my teen years and we were spoiled with bands like Bon Jovi, Van Halen, Motley Crue, AC/DC, Ratt, Quiet Riot, Journey, Foreigner, Guns n Roses, Scorpions, and Poison (to name a few). It was a fun time for sure.
I was born in the 80’s and grew up listening to Bon Jovi. I been to three of his concerts. They always have good misic. You should listen to bad medicine, someday I’ll be Saturday night, have a nice day, wanted dead or alive, it’s my life, and livin on a prayer to name a few
Yes it did. The 80s were the best decade in all of human history. There was never a decade like it before, and there never will be a decade like it again.
I have to say I couldn't be happier to have grown up in the early 70s became a teenager in the early 80s and got to see many rock bands live and these guys were great
Seen them live 3x. Absolutely fantastic and go from livin on a prayer to this song you can tell is a great unique relationship with bon jovi fans. Fans singing back to the band is 🔥🔥🔥
Desmond Child wrote this song with Bon Jovi, before Desmond wrote with Bon Jovi he wrote with KISS a couple of songs Desmond wrote with KISS is I Was Made For Lovin You which you've watched on this channel and another one is Heaven's on Fire. This happened because on the Animalize tour Jon Bon Jovi was looking for songwriters and Paul Stanley suggested Desmond Child. When KISS was on their Animalize tour Bon Jovi was opening for KISS.
Slippery When Wet tour was my first concert. Opening act was Cinderella. Really good show. Trying not to think of the potential disaster in holding lighters aloft in a room saturated with hairspray. 😅 Jon had a small (like 15’ square) stage built out on the floor of the arena so he could perform a song for the people waaaaay in the back. Very cool.
Hi Millie Mochi... That 1986 album Slippery When Wet was a blockbuster world wide hit one, took everybody by storm, highly tuned by FM Radio, even in those with R&B and Brit Pop format. In my home city, Bogota Colombia I bought that one in that same year a Vinyl copy under Mercury Records label, and it`s still in my records collection. A good album, it deserves to be listened from number one track "Let it Rock" until last one Wild in the Streets. Thanks for react to this true classic recording.
Go little Millie, you should have been a teenager in the 80's like me!!! Keep up the great work, love your appreciation. Also, please mssg me back on where exactly is your accent from? It's awesome, what part of England, or perhaps Scotland?
Great 1980s song 🎵. Written by Jon Bon Jovi, Richie Sambora and Desmond Child. Produced by the late Bruce Fairbairn. Engineered by Bob Rock. Recorded in Little Mountain Sound ⛰ Studios in Vancouver, Canada 🇨🇦. I happened to be in Vancouver that year, 1986. But I think I never came across any of them: the studio 🎙 was in downtown. U was in another neighborhood. Sad 😥. At least the music 🎶 is still here! 😃 Many great musicians recorded in that studio, Mushroom 🍄 and other studios in Vancouver from the 1970s and 1990s. Suggested videos 📹: 1 Bon Jovi performs Bad Medicine 💊 2 Aerosmith performs Dude Looks like a Lady 👩.
To me, Bon Jovi's album, "SLIPPERY WHEN WET" was their best album. All the songs on that album were bangers!!!! 🔥🔥🔥 Great reaction BTW, Love it!!! ❤️❤️❤️
Great reaction Millie! This song was my anthem during my divorce I probably listen to it 100 times lol! The 80s were great time I tell ya more Depeche Mode please! 🤘🏻
Bon Jovi represented the biggest of the 'hair' bands... I know they get mocked and ridiculed - that era of rock music... but it was truly a great time and produced some of the greatest rock music ever by some of the most prolific bands (and artists) in history. We got the thrash bands like Metallica, Megadeth, Slayer & Anthrax... from the 80's. We also got great rock bands like - Guns N' Roses, Iron Maiden, Journey (post 70's era), Scorpions (post 70's era), Def Leppard, Motley Crue, Poison, Cinderella, Skid Row, Judas Priest (post 70's era), Ozzy Osbourne, Dio, Dokken, Quiet Riot, Van Halen, L.A. Guns, Kiss (non-makeup era), Aerosmith (post-70's career), Accept, Europe, Kix, Faster Pussycat, Anvil, Warrant, Y&T, Tesla, Ratt, Queensryche, Twisted Sister, Whitesnake, White Lion, Great White, Stryper, Mr. Big, Britney Fox, Joe Satriani, W.A.S.P, Lita Ford, David Lee Roth, Bulletboys, Bang Tango, Vixen, Joan Jett & the Blackhearts, Metal Church, Dangerous Toys, Motorhead, The Cult... etc. Not one of these bands should be overlooked in terms of their musical contributions 🤘🤘
I am not proud of this but this was the last concert I ever went to. I brought my girlfriend who is now my current wife to his concert on Long Island New York. Don't tell anyone but I enjoy their music.
Don't tell anyone that you enjoy one of the greatest bands of the 80s? As far as I know, they're the first old school artists to have three different songs from three different decades that each have over a billion views. Hence, their appeal is no secret.
Going in a slightly different direction, if you ever find yourself wanting/needing a Bon Jovi tune to noodle around on on the bass...this song and "Living On A Prayer" are both fun/easy songs for starters.
I think she looks amazing. Even in her split pear pyjamas. It seems to me that there are two twin sisters, another wild rocking Chillie, almost unrecognizable, and then the other one, nerdy Millie with the round spectacles. And I just don't know which one I'm more in crush with. 😎
You're going to the 80's...who wants to come? Well, been there....bought the T-shirt. Literally....I have a T-shirt that says "Survived the 80's"....lol
I feel very lucky to be born 1973, but if I could pick an era...i would love to have been born in 1963. Being a child in the 80s was awesome, but if I was a YOUNG ADULT, then I'd have a car and some cash and could really take advantage of a Miami Vice life instead of just watching it on TV as a 13 year old.
Somehow, I am thinking that all that aquanet hairspray in the air back in the 80s will probably lead to some sort of cancer. You could smell hairspray everywhere back then.
BonJovi was definitely a great band. I was an 80's teen. Best time to be a teen.
Girl, the 80s was epic beyond comprehension. I was there. There will never be another decade like it
class of 86 here it was the best time to rock i haven't heard rock like this in 20+ years how i miss those days.
Class of 84 here was one hell of a great ride

This song is a banger! Also love how quick you were to love this!

Grew up in the 80’s, it “rocked,” literally! 😂
Yes it did. The 80s were the best decade in all of human history. There was never a decade like it before, and there never will be a decade like it again.
Born in the 60s, this was the best period of my life.... innocence was still intact.................

My first concert was these guys. I was front row center stage
I was in The 80s i was born in 1980 and was an awesome time
More Bon Jovi please!! You will love your journey into their music!
Go little Millie, you should have been a teenager in the 80's like me!!! Keep up the great work, love your appreciation. Also, please mssg me back on where exactly is your accent from? It's awesome, what part of England, or perhaps Scotland?

True enough, but if "Runaway" was on that album I wouldn't be able to argue with you at all.
I think their best album was, by far, "These Days".
I'm from the 80s Era. Clothes were a little of Denim and leather jackets with frills. Tight jeans that were bleached.
So much energy.
Great reaction Millie! This song was my anthem during my divorce I probably listen to it 100 times lol! The 80s were great time I tell ya more Depeche Mode please! 🤘🏻
MTV waa calling Jon BonJovi " the rock god" back then!
How many of Gen-Xers would be happy to share our LP collections with you, Millie!
🔥1980s🔥
Some of the best tongue-in-cheek lyrics in rock
:D ! Her reaction is like my reaction was . .....38 years ago .

Let me add Danger Danger & Giant, two bands I’m listening to a lot lately that were underrated.
I am not proud of this but this was the last concert I ever went to. I brought my girlfriend who is now my current wife to his concert on Long Island New York. Don't tell anyone but I enjoy their music.

It Is a shame if you stopped going to concerts because of your wife.
Going in a slightly different direction, if you ever find yourself wanting/needing a Bon Jovi tune to noodle around on on the bass...this song and "Living On A Prayer" are both fun/easy songs for starters.
There were endless of these bands. Could check out Europe also. "Rock the Night" for example. "Final Countdown" is their most famous.
BEST ERA ... EVVVAAAAA !!! .... ❤ 😉 ...
If you like 1980's hair you should check out all female rockers Vixen.
80s - If it's too loud, you're too old.
2000's - If it's too loud, you're not old enough!!!!!
Awesome/fun 🎵 song
You definitely need to go full Bon Jovi. Embrace the 80s and bring back the shaggy perm. :)
I wish I could because I'm a teenager from the 80s
You can come back to the 80's ... visit me in 1989... one rule: no cell phone camera.... just ENJOY the moment..
❤❤❤ Millie!😊
If you went back to nineteen eighty one, you are still in the seventies!😆🌿🌸
I go with you back to 80s
At any Bon Jovi concert, the woman lost their mind and their underwear.
I believe this song came out in 1986.
Checkout Runaway awesome Bass line
People like to hate on what's popular, simple as that.
great luck for Bon jovi meet
Desmond child 🤑👍✌️
Should try Runaway. And like the avocado jammies
I think she looks amazing. Even in her split pear pyjamas. It seems to me that there are two twin sisters, another wild rocking Chillie, almost unrecognizable, and then the other one, nerdy Millie with the round spectacles. And I just don't know which one I'm more in crush with. 😎
They might be avocados.
If you haven’t already you should try out a band called “Krokus” weird name but good music. I would suggest “Screaming in the night”
You're going to the 80's...who wants to come? Well, been there....bought the T-shirt. Literally....I have a T-shirt that says "Survived the 80's"....lol
If you want to hear some cool Bon Jovi bass, react to Livin On A Prayer, Keep The Faith, In These Arms, Fear
Another good bon Jovi song is 'Livin on a prayer '.
YOU'RE ABSOLUTELY RIGHT! The '60s, '70s, and the '80s were the BEST!!!!!!!!!!! They just don't make bands like that ANYMORE!!!!!!!!!!!!🙀😾😿
I feel very lucky to be born 1973, but if I could pick an era...i would love to have been born in 1963. Go to the 70s first! You'll see it was the decade that created huge stadium concerts!
then next is ... how about poison or warrent?.
Hey Millie try You've Got Another Thing Coming by Judas Priest..
Alice Cooper - Poison
Cinderella - Nobody's Fool
GnR - Welcome to the Jungle
...so on
Somehow, I am thinking that all that aquanet hairspray in the air back in the 80s will probably lead to some sort of cancer. You could smell hairspray everywhere back then.
