I'm so mad that i didn't do mine, i got too lazy! i was gonna do something like that wolverine regeneration scene from that xman movie (the bad one) where he disintegrates and regenerates over and over again. i probably wouldn't have finished it anyways but i didn't even try and now i regret it… but next time i will make something for sure! 😤
Haha thanks! It might be that because I've seen places like these irl and also collected references, I already had an idea about what slums generally look like. For some people who haven't been to such places, it might seem too ancient I guess. Anyway, the render lacked cohesion in my opinion too, so I'm not complaining.
By the way, I've heard that Clint's doing another challenge soon, so be on the lookout for that :D
I'm not a professional with the keen eye of those who critiqued it...but I thought it was awesome..but not long enough to really see the cityscape in the background because the ferris wheel is such a major center of focus. ,,by the way I'm curious how did you setup your camera to pan infinitely

Whoever you talked to, that was a "moderator " or whatever, really wasn't right. You did a great job with this piece and glad to see that you know this. I would agree that the depth of field needs to tweaking, but otherwise, wonderful.

Maybe they missed the point about the difference between lower and upper classes in the Eastern developing countries because of cultural differences and they didn't have enough time to look at all those small details and easter eggs that bind foreground and background together. Otherwise, the scene was very good. Cheers.

Hey I recently modelled a character in blender but I am stuck at rigging process, my character is not getting rigged properly with automatic weights can you help to solve this issue?
You can head over to the weight painting mode and then clean up the automatic weights by selecting each bone. Basically, you only want the area of the mesh around the bone to get effected by it (hence it should be non-blue while everything else should be blue)

Although few of the things I find unique with your work, still I would suggest you to work a little bit on the scene's sense of depth and the light scattering through different surfaces. Nice work anyways 🙏

You can't use metahumans in Blender unless you do a workaround. And that is probably also against its ToS.
But if you want to add characters into Unreal Engine, then there's nothing better than MetaHuman Creator.
But for Blender, this is the absolute best I've found :D

Why don't you use render farm
I did. Concierge came out to be too expensive for the animation, and SheepIt only supports files up to 500 MB. Also tried GoogleColab, that one just failed.

this is not hard to render.. running out of vram for this? seems like a wrong configuration, or defective hardware.
Ah there's just a lot of texture streaming going on and some of the animations weren't baked so there were the extra calculations there.

If you're a beginner, just follow tutorials in the beginning and then try to make your own scenes as you get more comfortable. This way, you'll discover a lot more things and learn a whole lot more.
