I'm not a visual effects artist (although I wish I had learned all that stuff), but I am an "appreciator" - I am so wowed and awed by these challenges, and I can't wait to see what all the incredibly talented artists come up with. These are definitely one of the coolest things on UA-cam.

complete noob here, can you make a tutorial for vanila blender how to rig new model to an existing rig? (and some possible issue like A pose etc) i'm having a hard time since the previous challenge. i did try to follow some tutorial using plugin but there's always some new error or variable which is frustrating

While I won't take part in this challenges, I'll provide some free idea fragments, as if I did take part, I would've attempted to create something where the environment would've been based on a late 1800s US, UK, or French mansion, chateau, office building, or factory with an adult subject. I know some animators sent in entries to the previous challenges that were fan animations of other media, so another idea I had was to create an entry that would be a Bluey fan animation with the subject probably being the title character or either of her parents.
Liking these ideas alot. 😊 I can't join the 3D challenges, but I throughly enjoy seeing what everyone comes up with. I'm still learning how to do 2D animation myself. 😂

A cool Twist on this challenge is I would like to see someone somehow make it look like they are descending or that the environment is moving up and away from them at such a rate that they will never get anywhere....
Additionally add someone with a suitcase and suit being like a lemming walking up to a cliff or the gaping mouth of the Abyss or a creature from the Abyss...

This is such a difficult profession. So much to know to be efficient. I once tried to make a static non-animated shot, and i've spent a lot of time just to set the main figure so it felt natural. I appreciate the job of animators and vfx.

You don't need to animate, the rigging and animations are all in the file I think, you just need add your own assets in and make is unique
