Simple Logging Train Cars and more! - Lego haul

- Another update to my rolling stock. I wanted small logging cars to be pulled with the My Own Train small locomotive. Rather than a large industrial logging operation I wanted to emulate a small logging railroad. In the future I'd like to expand the idea with a small saw mill. One of these days I'll get around to it!

You need that rear buffer, if you want to have a camera car on the back of the train. Also, Lego cheaped out in set 60198 and didn't even give us the 2x2 round tiles with the wood log sticker.
Love the simple build, really takes me back to ooogooing 9v era catalogs.
Awesome log cars. If I can make one suggestion: maybe create the logs in a way that the placement where the brick bottom-sides meet, just behind one of those standing sides (where the chains are connected). That way, you can hide that little gap between the bricks 😉
Good job on those log cars. Looks great!🤟
Thanks!
Another great haul video. #HopperArmy!
8:21 you could use an older one (like the ones from 9V sets) and remove the magnet
Good point, I didn't realize how cheap the buffer part was before ordering some. Most of the cost is in the coupler and magnet 😬
8:58 maybe not by your design, but it’s definitely by LEGO’s design! Stack 4 plates & 1 tile, then set sideways, equals exactly 2 studs wide.
They are always one step ahead! The main reason is surprised me is that they are connected end on end in the middle and it still worked out perfectly
I’m guessing you got bricks from bricklink
Yes, I've never used BrickOwl and Lego is VERY slow with delivering parts orders
Oh there are not enough derailments and accidents on this channel. Do better. Lol!
Those are more kid friendly than anything Lego makes
Surely build an Australian style freight locomotive to pull all you're freight wagons
I'm not the best with MOCs, it's something I'm working on though 😁
Where do you order these kits from
The log cars shown in this video are a MOC (My Own Creation). I designed them and ordered the individual parts from Bricklink. Lego doesn't sell individual rail cars anymore but there are third party companies like BlueBrixx that sell rolling stock. They sometimes need modification to work well though.
