I'm having a very basic understanding about electronics. I unterstand half of what you explain. That is fine for me. What I really enjoy is your dedication. That's why hang around. It inspires. Thank you.
First of all, LEGO rooms are supposed to look like that. A clean LEGO room makes me very suspicious. This layout is looking great. If this was at a LEGO convention, I would stop and look for a good long while. Great work!
I've heard that about desks too, supposedly there was a study and people who had immaculate desks often weren't very productive compared to those with messier desks. Irregardless of if that is true or not I'll continue to tell myself that 😅
If you are building an Aquazone diorama, you can't have too many transparent pieces or chrome bricks! They work so well together, as the reflection off the chrome helps shows the beauty of the transparent bricks. In addition to official Lego chrome, I've also picked up a selection of pieces chromed by third parties to give even more options to enhance to my builds.
For sure! I haven't looked into chromed pieces too much but I know a member of our discord is looking into doing it himself. I might have to commission some pieces 😁
@@BatteryPoweredBricks Sadly, Lego kicked anyone doing private chroming off of bricklink. Chrome Block City has their own website with a lot of options (they are based in Europe -- I didn't find anyone who does it here.)
Thanks! I'm glad folks are enjoying them. I had no idea how these videos would do. They certainly aren't setting the world on fire but they are doing better than I thought they would 🙂
Thanks 😁, I don't think it would win any Lego Masters competitions but it has been a very fun project. Sometimes I have to remember I need to set the bar at unique / genuine rather than comparing it to other MOCs I see online
Well... I finally managed to put my wish for monorail on hold, then this happens... irreagrdless Great video, loving to see how it's coming up. I wish I had the same drive as you when it comes to projects (12 and 9v *coff*).
LEGO rooms should be a creative mess. True creativity embraces and almost feeds off of the chaotic mess. So it’s a good thing imo. Dang those functions are just crazy awesome!
Would you consider motorizing/automating the opening and closing on the large trans-blue doors? I think there's a single stud on either side, maybe you could do something with a piece of string over a pulley? It's coming together nicely!
Pretty much everything comes from the Bricklink website. In the first video in this series I got all of the baseplates and trans dark blue panels. Most of them came from a Bricklink store in Germany. They are getting harder to find these days
Never trust a clean Lego room. They are hiding something... Also what is the deal with these warning labels? Now I just feel like everyone is judging me for eating batteries. I cant help it, they're just so darn tasty
LEGO Monorail, pneumatics, electronics... Many of my favorite things! When I grow up ☺I want to make this type of layout, just like you do 🤣
That's the secret, I never grew up at all 😅

Its really coming together in nicely! I love that blue and yellow color scheme.
Thanks! I always loved the color scheme of Aquazone 🙂

Really nice update, love that you take us through the process and explain all the different systems I had no idea existed and learn from it.

Finally someone has found something which Lego Mindstorms is useful for! 😂👍🥇
😅
The mindstorm housing building looks super authentic! Great work man! 😄

Realy nice little building for nxt and mindstorms and great vid
That 12V train on the background 😏
Spoiler alert for next week 😅
@@BatteryPoweredBricks hehe, I am quite an observer

Well you travel much more than I do, I don't leave the house if I don't have to 😅
My lego room is pretty much the same right now. and the lamp shining into the light sensor is a necessity. THis setup is awesome!
Thanks! It's been a ton of fun to put together 😁
@@BatteryPoweredBricks and it looks awesome! I'm loving this layout

The only problem is when you can't find something 😅. I'm still looking for the bag with all of my crystals in it! 😬

It's coming together nicely!
I've certainly considered automating the doors but I'm focusing on other challenges first
@@BatteryPoweredBricks Makes sense. I think you can manage to pull it off ^^
It's me, the snob. Judging you harshly. For making a lame yellow train and not a cool black shark train! hashtag Aquasharks
I'm definitely going to need to build an Aquashark monorail at some point 😁
Where do you buy the parts?
Thanks
