I recently purchased the Pro16 - I am getting a ton of compliments every time I take it out. Coming from EV point source system, everyone notices and appreciates the improvements in clarity. The portability makes it so simple for me as well
Do the testing on different venue or different application to give us meaningful item by item comparison in sound performance than chitty chat,try eg DJing band sole pub night club demos etc. Some of us we got Bose L1s or F1s etc of Bose ,we know how individually the sound,I even got Bose headphones ,so do the sound comparison please.
Will BOSE launch a Battery power version L1 Pro Portable System in the future? Just like JBL EON One Pro, I really like that system. It's not too big, not too small, battery powered, you can move around. I already have a BOSE S1 Pro. It's easy to move but it's too small, so... Can someone please tell me, will BOSE release a battery version L1 in the future? I don't really want to buy JBL EON One Pro, because it was launched 4 years ago😆
Bose F1 system easily wins. Pointless. Instead of creating something innovative & powerful, they got new products which are less powerful than the current ones.
I love Bose L1 Series ? But this never gets talked about? The threshold on the limiter kicks in why too early ! When you have tons of headroom still available Bose truly needs to update the firmware and give a little more room for the voice / limiter before it kicks in . I can be very bothersome when your in the middle of a great performance ! and the voice/ limiter monster visits you and your only at 1:00pm on volume …..This Is Truly A Real Problem That Bose Needs To Address ! Does Bose set this limiter the same regardless of the L1 -Pro models? would it be set higher without having this problem if you went from the 16 to the 32? I really hope I can hear some comments on this problem …..I really want to speak with Craig and get his input on this situation 👍😊 I have the pro16 I love it but this is an ongoing nightmare!
Hi there. I own a L1 Model 2 and T4 for my DJ gigs, and I'd like to a second column for more than 120 people . I think to buy a pro 32 column only, cause I think the model 2 sub is enough. I also want to pair the old model 2 and the pro 32 in stereo. Do you think it's possible with the T4 ? Thanks for your help.
I would love to hear demos of females singing through your systems, particularly the Pro8. I can only find guitars and male voices. Any suggestions where to find video demos of the L1 Pro 8 with females? Thanks
300 watts as far as I’m aware, although it matters little, the SPL figures are what’s important. For what it’s worth, I’ve tried a single Pro 16 vs a pair of Pro 8s, there’s very little difference in terms of loudness, despite the fact that a single Pro 16 has double the amount of watts of a pair of Pro 8s, but the pair of Pro 8s sound nicer than the single Pro 16. A pair of Pro 16s would have been great but space in my boot didn’t allow that.
None of these systems are suitable for anyone due to THE VERY POOR PLASTIC BUILD QUALITY ON THE SPEAKER COLUMN!!! considering how expensive these systems are YOU NEED TO DO BETTER!!!

How about total watts between L1 compact system compare with L1 Pro8?
The L1 Pro8 total wattage is 300W vs. the the Compact, which is 130W.

Can someone explain again the discussion about L1 Pro8 line out to a Sub1? I didn't grasp all of that.
You can send a line out signal from L1 Pro8 via LINE OUT to a Sub1 LINE IN. On the Sub1, you can choose a LINE IN EQ: optimized for L1 or general LPF.

I tried L1 Pro8 with Roland TD-17 KVX-S and this is perfect. I also tried it with my Taylor 414-ce and this is REALLY BETTER than my Fender SFX amp.
