Each time I get back to crochet I had to get with my mama to get a "lesson" on starting and finishing my afghan. I no longer have her to remind me what to do at the start and finish. Finding your tutorial has been a wonderful highlight in my day. The memories are endless. Thanks so much for your great tutorial

I rarely comment on UA-cam videos but I have to for this! I love this pattern! Thank you for posting such an easy to follow tutorial. What I love about this is it looks so impressive without it being difficult! Once you get the pattern down you can crochet away whilst watching tv or doing anything else, it’s easy to see where you left off or make a mistake and you don’t have to unravel a bunch of count stitches. I made one for my pregnant sister in law and she said it’s the best thing she’s ever seen me make and I agree! I’m immediately starting a second blanket for my best friend who is also pregnant, I can’t wait to finish this one and pass it on! Thank you!

This may be my favorite stitch of all time. Weldon's Victorian Crochet called it Crazy Stitch. It forms a perfect square if you start from a single motif and increase every row, 3-spoke, dblcrost. Not much you can't make with it. Makes a pretty trim. I make a roll of strip trim with it to increase a bra strap sizeable with buttons. Glad you brought it out here. I call it Diagonal Bias. Can be made 2-spoke. Versatile.

Thank you for sharing your thoughts on this project. I'm expecting a grandson in March. I thought it would be great to hand made blanket.

Thank you so much! I very much enjoyed this pattern. This was my first ever blanket, and it turned out great! I don't know how to read a pattern so thank you for demonstrating in a way that made sense!

I was looking for the chevron pattern that my grandmother used to make a blanket that's in a photo of her crocheting it, and this is it! Thank you so much. I can't wait to make it. 🥺💖

I love this pattern so much I have just started a king size fleece hugs in elephant from red hearts but using two cakes together for more colorful fun and to make it thicker and easier to see it’s so lovely 🥰 thank you for sharing 💕

I love this pattern. you are very good at explaining it. I still have trouble with the edges. They keep going in hopefully I’ll eventually get this. I’m a visual learner because I have dyslexia it takes me longer to get things. I’m playing it over and over on the edges but I just can’t seem to get it. Thanks

New to your channel! I have been crocheting for a year now. Just the scarfs and blankets so far. Started to learn Tunisian crochet when my boss decided to have a baby and wants me to make a blanket. I ran across this vid, went to Michaels and have started this. Thank you for being a good teacher of every step of the way!! Your slow and precise directions are working well for me. I am 2 rows in and loving it!! I can't wait to explore the rest of your channel!!
