    🔥 Frequently Asked Questions:
Do you have a left handed version of this video? If you are left handed, you can convert ANY video on UA-cam yourself! Simply go to www.mirrorthev... and follow the instructions to mirror flip any video to convert to left handed!
How much yarn will I need? This is a very tricky question to answer as there are so many variables! How much yarn you need will depend on which yarn you choose, the thickness of that yarn, your tension and how large you want your finished project to be. I suggest making a small sample first so you can gauge how much yarn you'll need. If making a crochet square, you can weigh your finished square to work out how much yarn it used!
How many squares do I need for a blanket? That all depends on the size of the square you are making and how big you want your finished blanket to be! I always advise making one square first then measuring the size of it. From there you can work out how many squares you will need to get the blanket size you want 😀
Do you have the written pattern? Yes! I have written patterns to accompany my video tutorials on my website here: www.hookedbyro... The written pattern is generally released a week or so after the video tutorial to ensure there are no errors in the video itself and to make amendments in the written version if any are found. All the written patterns are FREE to access on my website
How can I print the pattern from your website? Do you have downloadable PDF's? Not at this time no. This may change in the future but for now, I only provide the written pattern directly on my website.
Can you remake this video so it is slower? If the video speed is too fast, you can slow it down! 😀 See this video on exactly how: • How to Adjust the Spee...
Why do you use American stitch terminology? I learnt using USA stitch terms, long before I even knew there was a difference between UK & US terminology! American terms are my "first language" so to speak. If you need a conversion chart, I have one here! www.hookedbyro...

Robin, you’re the very best teacher. I’ve been crocheting for a long time. Just picked it up again, and watch UA-cam for new patterns and stitches. You have a natural talent for tutorials. Thank you for the beautiful patterns, yarns, and your tutorials. I’ve learned much from you💗💗. Thanks for sharing🌸

I appreciate that you give the stitch multiples and then "end with X number of chains." This gives me what I need to determine width of blankets without ending up with extra chains or being short on the first rows. Thank you. One request if possible, an idea of how many yards/ounces for a certain size would be helpful, but certainly not necessary.

I never would have thought of putting off-white next to white, but it does make for a beautiful gradation of colors, and luckily I have in my stash all the colors you used in Simply Soft - so I’m on my way to start this today!!

New viewer here.. I love your videos. You explain and demonstrate so clearly. I really appreciate that.
I haven't crocheted much in the last couple years. I did more when my grandkids were smaller. But now, I have another younger granddaughter. I also am happily awaiting the arrival of one grand niece, and twins; grand niece & nephew.
So I dug through my tubs of yarn to start some blankets.
(Yes, I do have a yarn problem 😉). And I ordered some new too. So your videos showing the lovely patterns is so helpful. (even if you didn't create them)
PS. as someone who has a long time granny square project, I was thrilled to find out about Red Heart's new
"All On One Granny Square" yarn! I know it's not perfect, some reviewers have mixed results and feelings about it. But the weaving in of 4 or 5 strings per square is a big part of why, I keep putting the project in a back closet. I can't wait to finish the baby blanket I'm working on now, soi can get that yarn and finally finish my "Rosanne" Granny blanket!

I'm worried the cats will make bread on it and pull at the yarn 😅🙈

I tried this last night. Love this stitch. But I'm not making a blanket. I'm using it for a woman's cloak( cape) . I've got this red heart ombre yarn: fresh mint. I love it. The color doesn't drastically change in it. More of Suddle change.

I notice that the first time you turned your work you did so in a way that meant the yarn was coming from the back of the work. The second time you did it the opposite way! How do you suggest would be the preferred way of turning the work to give a nice neat edge? Thank you for the lovely tutorial.

Lovely, thank you for demonstrating this stitch. I just thought that I'll do this with my ombre / colour changing yarn, but then I noticed that this might not work, because you always need 2 rows in the same colour for this stitch to work, don't you? 🤔 I've got one with long colours, I'll give it a try anyway... 😅
