- Getting ready for another big job by cleaning the XTool D1 Pro 20 watt. I have made hundreds of cuts since my last thorough cleaning.

I stumbled upon your channel a while back....and I am glad I did. First of all, thank you for your service. Secondly, your content depth and quality is awesome! Your channel is a real treat to watch. Keep it up!
Thanks, I am learning as I go. It is fun to do and I am glad you like it
Your videos keep getting better all the time. Tall tripod a nice addition. Looking forward to new mystery machine.
Thanks. I thought it would help. Still waiting on a new camera
Thanks for making this video. Needed to know how to clean mine.
Cool, glad you liked it
Try scrubbing bubbles from Dollar General. It’s a good go to for gunk like that. It’s not just for the bathroom
Good ole DG…
Eggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggslent ! Thanx for sharing.
Thanks
Video was really good, taller tripod works well. Thank you for showing the thorough cleaning. What is the brand of the glass cleaner you used? It seemed to work much better than some I have tried.
It is turtle wax brand, I have used several.
Good video, when you use your air assist do you change the air pressure or always use the same psi, and what pressure do you use?
It has a ball valve that allows to control it. Less than 10 psi, the gauge isn’t made for low psi
@@TheClackShack thanks for the reply.
I think mine come with a extra lens did yours
I don't think I missed anything in my build
I am not sure, I will need to look. If not, I will be ordering some just in case.
Did you get your new camera or is this just the new tripod that is improving quality? Looks great BTW.
NM I watched to the end now.
Just a new tripod to get the camera higher. The new camera is coming but gotta save some $$
I missed what that small square in the middle of the board under the honeycomb is for

Hey man where would you order a new lens for the 20w ?
Xtools website. I would assume, I haven’t had to buy one
you can take the air assist cone off with the set screw. never mind, you found it.
Yea, It came already on there. I wasn't sure how it came apart but found it.
you didn't offer a free t-shirt to the first person that guesses what the new machine is. I'm gonna go ahead and say it's a CNC. Also, since you have the safety glass on the enclosure, you should just take off the shield around the laser, that should improve airflow around the cut.
I have shortened the lens and have the theory that the flow from the cooling fan actually helps move the smoke away from the laser module. My air assist nozzle is actually lower than the shield. It had an accident with the bandsaw.....
@@TheClackShack I guess it would be hard to measure the air flow. I'm just going by what I see on the higher output co2 machines. None of them seem to have anything around the air nozzle...
@@rirsz They also do not have a fan near the laser output. They use a series of mirrors to reflect the laser to the final point. The cooling takes place at the tube.
