Do you have a video to replace the D1 pro 20 w laser diode lense? Not the replacement but the actual replacement with the lense on main unit?
Paw paw, you seemed adamant when you said "I don't use alcohol". Why not? My laser manufacturer (Comgrow) recommends using alcohol and a q-tip. Is there a reason why you don't use alcohol? Thanks!
Yes, I’m always concerned about contamination. 70% alcohol has 30% purified water. I would rather have a product specifically made to clean lenses. I just don’t want to take a chance of scratching the lens.
Thank you I did all that and even changed the lens and still no power have to do multiple passes or slower speed. before this has never happened any suggestions?

I do not the exact lens. Check with the manufacturer as I do not see the specifications in the manual
How do I tell if I have a bad lens it doesn't seem to focus. It's all distorted. Not getting the usual straight neural beam. Ortur Master 3 I took it off. The gantry turned it sideways pointed at a piece of wood with my goggles on then I made it do a small circle, but I noticed the beam was very distorted. Can I use standard eyeglass wipes?🛰

After I plugged in my IR yesterday, & plugged back in the 20w. I have more power than I should? Meaning at P- 50% & S- 3,000 it burns threw a 1/2 in plyboard, and 33 mm bass is evaporated. I don't like it. I checked the settings, & reset it. 100%- P goes threw the table. I have an order to fill & I can't under these circumstances. Please help. 😣

Thank you. I noticed my D1 wasn’t working correctly. I went to clean my lens but it was chipped. Ordered a new one. Hopefully that will fix my issue. Have a great day

Paw paw, do you have a link to the laser repair kit that you used in the video? I only see the glass lens by themselves. Also, do turn off the laser when you clean the lens? Maybe this isn't an issue for the lasers you have, but I had a little issue the other day when I was cleaning mine. On my laser there are two separate cables for the laser head, pwm and power. I unplugged the pwm cable while the machine was on and the laser came on full blast! Fortunately, it wasn't pointed at anything important and I was able to shut it off quickly. But someone else might not be so lucky.. Have a good day!
Wow, that could have been a serious accident. Whenever you are working on any piece of equipment always turn it off or unplug it. Safety first.

This was done on the CNC4NEWBIE. Any of the CNC machine can run the same file.
Does anyone know if the actual laser lens (the one exposed after removing the protective lens cover) is supposed to be loose? I cleaned that one and noticed that I could basically screw it either further in or closer to the top. Not sure what to do now to get it back in place.

Interesting find while searching for lens cleaning solutions. I have a spray bottle to clean my glasses which seems to consist of mainly isopropyl alcohol. Might work as well but will do a little more research just to be sure. Most lens cleaning search results end up with 'isopropyl alcohol'.
Cleaning solutions for glasses contain a mixture of different types of chemicals. Stick with manufacturer recommendeds.
