The result is supposedly a total mess. Also sprach Zarathustra ~Die Wiederkunft~ is a rewritten version of the original. Acta est Fabula adds Kei and Rea's routes. "Amantes amentes adds some new content to Rea's route, including a second ending." It also has five side stories. However, since it was originally made for the PSP, all H-scenes were removed... So if you have the 18+ version?
I started a new game then saved it at the final choice but after I couldn't get the second ending. I then pressed the lock in route and I have the steam version
In case this isn't clear... When Marie became God in Rea's route... Ren was actually reincarnated twice. 1st time as Lotus, who got with Rusalka... cuz y'know. 2md as Ren proper. Basically Lotus is both Ren's grandfather and past life....weird, but considering that's sorta how it was last time, meh. Lotus and Ren are both basically the same word too, so there's that.
The three-way battle between Ren, Reinhard, and Mercurius is awesome. Before their fight, their prefight dialogue is nice, especially coupled with the opening of Amantes Amentes playing. Don't you agree?

It took me almost 2 years to finish this novel due to lack of enthusiasm, but in the end I did (although it is one of my favorites). I personally didn't like the Kasumi / Rea routes (Except for the ending of the Rea route, the reasons will be explained below). I think Marie's route would have been better as a canon, but it wasn't. (Things like adding what was seen on Rea's route within Marie's route, and that Rea's route would have been different). I liked Sakurai's route, it is the only one where i noticed some chemistry between Ren and the heroine. Kei is a girl who does not give up on anything, that battle against Samiel in Marie's Route, I will not forget it, it was very epic. The story behind Tubal Cain and Beatrice was very good too. Personally i prefer Kei's route in story, Marie's route in action, other story: Verfaulen Segen and the Acta est Fabula Version of the Game (I played both Amantes and Acta) And finally, liked Rea's Ending because the Ship Kei x Kai is possible. Glad you enjoyed it, and nothing to apologize for. I enjoyed all routes, but some were flushed out more than others though. Some have it better than others. That being said, it is not Short VN, it does takes time to read if you are busy. Which might turn people off, if there is a lot of similarities. It's nice that they got their own relationship even without you, whether it's a siblings or childhood friends or just "being villains having a cause but not liking each other". Don't forget to read interview with Bay if you haven't yet.

From Kajiri Kamui Kagura we would have jumped to the cancelled DI: Pantheon. Rea's route is just a "What if" they had won against Hajun. no more, no less.
@@Nadie20202 Multiple timeline is fine, it's better if something are left as they are but the truth is resources are finite. So they have to decide which one they will put more effort on etc. For example, in dmc5 you can beat....from the beginning and you will get the what if. Which is fun on it's on as well.
I will say this is by far my favorite fight and the ending was magnificent also those who wonder Ren, Reinhard and Mercurius were so dead even it ended in mutual destruction (rein being mercurius's cancer cell made it a no brainer) and ren and reinhard lost their god powers once the fight ended but remained human while merc who was born a god will die forever (At least this isn't like KKK i blame naraka)
Alive without any god powers just like ren (who returned as lotus reinhart, Karl kraft still exists but not as merc just as a person who exists in history only true merc died because he was a born god while ren and rein lived because they have their human selves)

I kinda skip to the ending of 1 and 2 video and watch what happens because I got lazy watching the whole thing cause I kinda guess what happen in between the video but is Ren is Lotous or Ren is just a recarnation of him and he's alive will Ren in the future with Shiruo, Sakurai, Kasumi and the rest of the gang because he never shows up in the 1 video and 2 video Ren, did he live a different lives growing up before meeting his friend again because he didn't know them and thanks for the video😇
Remember to watch Nihil Difficile Amenti if you haven't yet. There was a guy called Lotus that was friend with Machina. I think at some point it is hinted that Lotus is Ren *perhaps share his memories at least* (As he remembers Machina name), same as when Reinhard visits *Lotus*.
Good try, but you are completely off. Lotus is Ren's great grandfather and Rusalka is Ren's great grandma. Hence what you saw there is that Machina mistaking Ren for Lotus due to their souls being similiar.

At first Lotus and Michael died on the battlefield.And Mercurius collected their souls,brought them to the castle to fight there and the winner was transformed to Machina. Mercurius saw the special of Lotus soul (the question he asked Machina whether he wanted to die or moved forward.The former is Machina and latter is Lotus) and created Ren based on Lotus's soul.When Ren reached his final form he said he rememberd "HIS" deepest craving. Furthermore,Lotus and Russalka never had any child so how the hell Lotus is Ren's great grandfather ? For me the answer for this route is Ren is Lotus's reincarnation.The law of Marie allows people to reincarnate in order to reach happiness that they could not do in the past.
Actually Lotus when he died merc infused his blood and became ren and his link with machina is because of his previous life however once marie managed to return things to normal there are changes like Anna not being a witch in Nihil Difficile Amenti its reveals lotus and anna had a child but before lotus died in 1944 battle along with his brothers in arm Ren is the grandchild of the two (not great grandchild from what i was told) but u could say its a reincarnation due to the noted similarities. So ren is lotus only via merc's intervention marie's world has the two as completely different people but as reincarnations

I have quick question regarding on dies irae. How did you ever get rea second ending. Because for some reason I was never giving this certain question that leads to rea seconding ending. Because after I choose to rescue rea himuro, I was giving no question at all. So idk if I miss something. Because I even went back replay and do new game for rea route and for some reason was giving me the same thing. Which was I was not getting no question after I choose to rescue rea himuro.
I was following a guide (which you can find on steam), but others were having same issue as you. Are you locked into specific route and have you tried starting fresh route?
@@bunnytuttle5008 yeah I even replay the kausumi & Kei & Marie and I made sure I followed the walkthrought guide as it said, and made sure I pick the right choices which I check and just skip as usual. Then afterwards did a new game for rea route to see if the option would be available for me. But I keep getting the same problem.

Basically, they fought till they all exhausted themselves. And during this time, Marie had probably ascended to the Throne and became the de facto God, and created a world where she was able to embrace the 'longing/craving' of all. This meant that she created a world where everybody would fulfill their deepest desires/wishes. For Reinhard, I think eventually he came to a resolution to accept the way things were. For Mercurius he probably got his wish to fade out of existence. For Ren, A reunion with Rea. and the rest is what we see.

Perhaps Wilhelm and Wolfgang will have a better life, since at the end of Rea's route, the two still become serial killers (due to their childhood) even in Marie's world.

It is made clear in the narrative that each time Reinhard landed a strike at Mercurius, he was also wearing away at his own existence, mirroring the damage he was inflicting. By the end, he basically annihilated himself by killing Merc. I think this is why it is important that you read both endings as they give a more complete picture of events that transpire in this battle. The first ending gives Reinhard's and Mercurius perspective post battle, while the other gives Ren's and Marie's version.

Why did ren disappear at the end of the fight
Samuka Jabateh it was said they all were near the end of their limits and had enough energy for one last attack
It's cause Ren is born from Mercurius and is linked to him. With Mercurius gone, so does Ren disappear as well.
