If you look at 4:04 the car going straight is behind the line as the light turns red, but the car turning left is clearly already in the intersection. They "failed to yield" to a car running the red light.
In most places, when you’re waiting to turn left with a steady green circle light, you’re allowed to complete your turn when the light goes red. So the other driver is at fault.
0:39 how is it that drivers like this will turn straight into the left lane from a right hand turn, but when it comes to turning left, they want to go into the right lane??
How in the world did you manage to make such a screwball "oxymoron" as "...turn straight," that being absolutely impossible---it's either TURN or it's STRAIGHT, it's physically impossible for it to be both!
@@jb6712 There are words with multiple meanings, in this case I meant 'straight' in the sense of 'dead-set' or 'unmovingly'. Not literally 'straight', as in forward, without curve.

Exactly, I was told by a cop that was giving an interview about a guy who had passed away after running his car under a semi that the moment you are going above the speed limit, you lose your “Right of Way”.
45 in a 35 is rookie numbers, now if the traffic is heavy that's a different thing, some areas speeding may not be legal but it's not dangerous but some areas the speed limit is really the most you should do.
In some states, if a driver is going 10 mph or more above the speed limit, an LEO will ticket them for "criminal speeding," not just speeding. Sounds like a very good idea, but only as long as the officers are around to catch such offenders.
with the number of people on their phones driving, honestly not shocking if you drive a lot. I was driving in FL the other day and had four drivers in view doing about 45 ALL on their phones. It's horrifying
Not siding with that cammer, but in my home state, in my home city, waaaay up north---HEAVY snow country, icy roads, the whole bit----my brand new car was rear ended twice in one short stretch of two hours because the roads were so slick with ice and snow that it was nearly impossible to stop. That was Feb., 2007, when we had more than one blizzard that winter, and the road crews were swamped trying to keep up with salting and sanding all the (very heavily traveled) in-town roads and streets. But in my 60 years of driving (learned from both Mom and Dad when I was 12), I've been rear-ended only three times, those two in one day making up that total.
7:13 It is better to be late than to be in an accident. Never put your own safety and the safety of others around you at risk, the consequences are not worth it.
7:12 This isn't the first time I've seen a claim of the other person's insurance having a payout limit, and I genuinely don't understand how it's even possible. "Our insured driver doesn't pay for a plan that covers the damages they caused, so f#&$ you?"
I think most insurance has a liability limit, at that point your insurance sues the other insurance. I guess eventually the other driver themselves might get sued but if they had state legal minimum and are not just being cheap to be cheap than GL ever getting anything because they may not make enough money to get anything from.
But the one at fault has $50k coverage, so it seems as if their insurance company could have taken care of at least the cammer's car, unless they were driving a Rolls Royce, which is highly doubtful.
I had to give up driving at night three years ago, but also had to stop driving in any inclement weather, primarily because of the too-bright headlights now. I just cannot process what's coming at me, nor see what's around me when blinded by those ridiculous headlights that are more like moving searchlights.
0:15 First, people need to understand that being "courteous" in this case is being "dumb". Second, when you're driving next to a stopped lane of cars, slow down.
0:15 what people seem to be missing is that car had a manual driver side spot light. Meaning thats a cop. Doesn't matter what the cammer was doing, cop should know better than to pull stunts like that.
Not necessarily. Those spotlights are usually not removed when the vehicle is retired and sold. Also note the mismatched wheels, something you generally don't see on government fleet vehicles.
Ive seen just as many ex cop cars with those spotlights as I have real cop cars. They just leave those installed when the department sells or auctions the vehicle off. Its anyone's guess as to if that was a cop or not
11:42 great job cammer for slowing down when they saw a dangerous situation coming up. Other cars are idiots for following too close/not paying attention but if cammer didn't slow down to give them space, there 100% would have been an accident there.
1:38 He changed lanes quite legally. You stomp on your brights. He responds. Then you lay on your horn and start flashing your lights. You picked a fight. You got a fight.
Right? People do stupid stuff, don’t let your emotions escalate the situation. If you see a crazy guy doing shit on the side walk, your first reactions probably gonna be that guys crazy, let me not interact with him. But when it comes to cars everyone’s gotta react in some way
How do you "stomp" on your high beams? Driving a ’59 Chevy? Someone flashes their brights at me my immediate reaction is to "stomp" on the brake pedal because I'm an easily triggered lunatic.
BRAKES---those devices installed on all motor vehicles to make them stop. They are not "breaks," something that is split into at least two parts, if not more!!!!!!
This is partly why I haven't bothered to drive. I can either lose my temper on a bad day or be the idiot driver myself. The thought alone scares me enough to deter getting a license.
@@jacobbo3973Yes, but the semi was already entering that road when the truck was just starting with his curve, so the semi driver had the right of way (he would have had to yield if the truck entered before - or, if anybody had approached on the road itself (from his right, respectively the truck's left). 3:58 yall were definitely at fault even the video shows she drove into oncoming traffic before the light was red. Heres a tip pull out past the white line and wait till the light is actually red. Something very similar to that first clip happened to me... in a driving class. I did not hit the car, and the instructor didn't even see the car. Subaru Outback driver from last year, I still remember you.
3:55. Clearly the cammer was at fault for this. They were at a complete stop and tried to make the light when it turned yellow which means you yield to oncoming, not try to race to beat the light. It was also red the moment they started to move as well, which means they ran the red light. I am sure if their insurance still looked at the footage, they would have still considered them at fault.
They were pretty clearly already pulled into the intersection based on the angle they were taking on the turn, and the car they hit also ran the red light. The driver could have handled it better, but the gray sedan was more at fault than they were.
@@Lemmon714_ Unless laws are different in those states, you yield on yellow if you are at a complete stop and remain stopped till the light turns green again.

If you look at 4:04 the car going straight is behind the line as the light turns red, but the car turning left is clearly already in the intersection. They "failed to yield" to a car running the red light.
@@mitchk7655I agree with Mitch. I'm surprised how many people don't see that.
In most places, when you’re waiting to turn left with a steady green circle light, you’re allowed to complete your turn when the light goes red. So the other driver is at fault.
@@SomeGuyWhoPlaysGames333In most places it's considered failure to yield. An unwritten rule isn't law.

0:39 how is it that drivers like this will turn straight into the left lane from a right hand turn, but when it comes to turning left, they want to go into the right lane??
It's like they're all driving a horse drawn wagon. Got to make that wide turn to keep the wagon from dropping a wheel in the ditch.
It's called a Soccermom turn. Make a wide turn like that so you don't spill your latte with extra mocha
@@DeweyCheatumNHoweLLC i'm stealing this phrase. people are always turning into the second lane where i live
People seem more concerned with hitting their dashcam save button now than they do the brake or horn 🤔
Priorities:
- dash cam save
- horn
- steering wheel
- yell at person who can't hear you
- maybe brake slightly
That girlfriend one. "She was found at fault." Yes, because the light went red, including for her. She entered the intersection on a yellow. She was already stopped.
Gosh. A pickup with Texas plates being driven by a man with aggression issues. How cliche.

Wouldn't matter. They'll just go buy a $500 junker and a temp tag to match it, and drive without insurance/license anyway. At least the shitty car will be a warning to others.

3:10 that 14 year old definitely stole the vehicle also I don’t think you should be driving at 14

This is some incredible footage 😂
Well, you shouldn't be driving without a license and without insurance so 14-year-olds not driving should take care of itself >_>
I mean, not alone. I got my permit at 13 and 9 months
7:40 I hear Mitski! Not really related to the video, but I love her music. Good music taste on the cammer’s part, lol. :P
8:20: Just because you have a camera, doesn't make you right. 45 in a 35 means you're speeding and driving recklessly. YOU ATA!
3:45 - buddy if you've been rear ended SEVEN times you are doing something wrong lmao
I mean, that video could've been number 8, and he didn't even do a single thing wrong 🤷♀️
with the number of people on their phones driving, honestly not shocking if you drive a lot.
9:20 is the most beautiful thing I’ve ever seen on a highway.
"Thank you god for protecting me" - and to hell with that poor sap in the white car, thanks god for forsaking that random guy!
Some of these drivers act as if they can't see beyond the end of their hood.
8:13. Guy complains about a Jeep driver. It's a Jeep thing, you wouldn't understand.

4:50
How is anyone supposed to drive when peoples headlights are that bright??
I had to give up driving at night three years ago, but also had to stop driving in any inclement weather, primarily because of the too-bright headlights now.
I just cannot process what's coming at me, nor see what's around me when blinded by those ridiculous headlights that are more like moving searchlights.
mitski mentioned?? 7:45
he’s so real lmao
Its anyone's guess as to if that was a cop or not
@@Mike-zl4zs ive also seen them on taxis in the burbs since they often have to find an address when the company is phoned for a pickup.

11:42 great job cammer for slowing down when they saw a dangerous situation coming up. Other cars are idiots for following too close/not paying attention but if cammer didn't slow down to give them space, there 100% would have been an accident there.

What the actual f*ck is that name at 8:55?!? Also, that driver had enough time to slow down. Wet streets? Adjust your speed!
This is partly why I haven't bothered to drive. I can either lose my temper on a bad day or be the idiot driver myself. The thought alone scares me enough to deter getting a license.

5:46 You have a yield sign and the semi was entering the road before you
Semi as a yield sign aswell…
@@jacobbo3973Yes, but the semi was already entering that road when the truck was just starting with his curve, so the semi driver had the right of way (he would have had to yield if the truck entered before - or, if anybody had approached on the road itself (from his right, respectively the truck's left). Stop the video at 5:46, and you can see the semi's right front wheel already on the road (and way after his yield sign, which is actually behind his cabin already), while the truck is still at least a couple of meters from the road's border (and his yield sign).
The semi crossed three lanes of traffic. If the truck driver is at all at fault, it's 50/50

3:58 yall were definitely at fault even the video shows she drove into oncoming traffic before the light was red. Heres a tip pull out past the white line and wait till the light is actually red. Since you're past the line the camera wont count it as running a red light. Even a driving instructor said you could do this. Traffic will be stopped (hopefully) then you can go.
3:15 that happens a LOT. people are conditioned to swerve right, so they instinctively swerve right into accidents.

You can go after the light turns red if you are already in the intersection
@@Lemmon714_ Unless laws are different in those states, you yield on yellow if you are at a complete stop and remain stopped till the light turns green again.

Dude clearly pulled out in front of you and you had way more than enough time to SLOW TF DOWN and you just kept driving right into him. When someone pulls out in front of you try TAPPING THE BREAKS AND SLOWING DOWN. Give the other idiots on the road some time to get up to speed or to make their turn or be stupid. Treat everyone on the road as an idiot. Its up to YOU to see and stop the accident and adjust to other drivers. Especially when they give you so much time to react and slow down but you just keep driving like they dont exist. Then you call them dumb. I wish people would learn how to drive.
at 5:45 there a yield sign but neither of them yield at all lol but I wouldn't take on a semi like that
