    This album, Fear Innoculum, came out in 2019, and beat out Taylor Swift for top selling album of the year.

    Only artist that do 5 studio albums in 30 years and go thirteen years without and album and still be as huge as they are goes to how awesome and talented they are.

    Their new stuff is less angry but heartfelt and technical. 7empist is my favorite off this album. I would say they are still at the top of their game because they sell out arenas quickly. Many artists from 20 years ago play much smaller venues because they can’t sell out the big ones.

      Caligula was supposedly sort of perverse and degenerate, thus if Caligula could see all the wierd crazy shit that Tool has done over the years, even he would have to crack a smile…

    As a 60 yr. “Old” man this song hits hard, I’m telling ya once you hit a certain age you start to seriously look at life, and accepting the reality you aren’t are what you once were, and that truth can be sobering depending on how you deal with that acceptance

    Great Reactions
    To if Tool is still relevant today as back in the 90s. Probably, but Tool never was to radio friendly to begin with but the fan base is bigger now. I was 17 in 94’ when Undertow came out. They had no chance bands like nirvana , Alice n Chains, NIN dominating the scene at the time. They hooked me though. I’m more impressed with Tool now than ever before . As I get older I look at my own mortality more than usual. And it’s comforting knowing that these guys are still making music.

    Germanic tribes during the roman times and after would always have the chieftains, and later kings at the vanguard of the force. Also giving the illusion that all germsns were super tall when only the upper-class were tall due to the access of food

    Not sure how much TOOL that you listen to or know but they are my favorite band and my opinion the best band that has ever been created. This song is awesome. It’s off their new album which won a couple of Grammys their discography absolutely unreal. I can give you some suggestions if you’re interested in Moore tool, they have a very huge following so it would definitely be a good ideafor driving traffic to your channel that is one of your goals. Not to mention their music is second to none. This album is three years old going on for and there was a 16 year break since their previous album Maynard the lead singer is also in two other bands and has a high-end restaurant and successful vineyard and of the members are late 50s. I believe he is definitely also using it as a metaphor to them as a band and it reminds me of the movie 300. The drummer has a lot of western influence and is one of the greatest drummers of all time Danny Carrie he plays the tabla pads, which give it western India feel. if you watch the live version drum cam of their song, Pneuma, which is also on this album, which is one of their best songs, you can watch him play his drum kit, which is unreal. I highly recommend you do a reaction to Danny Carrie‘s drum Cam TOOL Pneuma. Do yourself a favor they’re touring now I just saw them last month in Nashville. They’ve been touring for about last two years since they dropped this album and they’re gonna stop touring pretty soon because Maynard is going to tour with his other band, Puscifer and perfect circle. But before you die, see these guys play live!!! you’ll never see anything like it. Only person I can put close to them was when I saw Prince. Completely different, but both so special that you just have to see it to believe it. They’ve been a top band for 30 years, but they kind of didn’t want to be mainstream, but musicians know how amazing they are even people that aren’t fans will tell you that they are all purple musicians top-tier, but as far as critical claim this their most recent album has the most, recognition and Grammys longest rock song to ever win a Grammy. I don’t think it’s their best, but they have so many good albums of hard to say, but I think this is probably one of their top 10 or 15 songs along with Noma when they released their discography on Spotify a couple years ago 22 out of the top 25 were theirs with like an Adele song, a Bieber song, and a Timberlake song. Sorry this is so long but I think Lateralus is probably their best but it’s hard to say because parabola and 10000 days both have masterpieces and you can listen to the entire albums without skipping a song. Go down this rabbit hole, similar to Ren they have very loyal active fans! a bit more annoying than the pending than Ren fans but definitely will help your channel expand

    Nice hip-hop tie in! Weapon as your mic. Chuck D gets it. ✊🏽 Drums is the march or sometimes my heart beating. Adrenaline before battle? They sound confident and tired at the same time. The music keeps knocking you down through the whole song, then picking you back up. So true to life.
    Caligula was known for incompetence and crazy decadence. Large part of the great Roman Empire fell under his rule.
    Whoa ! The lowest form of conversation, remember when. Facts. Gonna remember that.

    Caligula was the youngest and most cruel emperor of Rome, reigned for 1300 days, so him saying "the things we've done, Caligula would Grin"
    The most evil emperor satisfied with the things people have done to one another.

    I don't necessarily equate Eminem with tool lyrics just because the Tool lyrics are awesome, rhyme, or are meaningful. While there is rap rock I feel rap has to have a certain cadence to it.
    Maynard is also pretty famous for his lyrics not rhyming a lot in the songs but he still tells a great story. He's a great lyricist.

    • @SaeedReacts.
      @SaeedReacts.  8 місяців тому +1

      It was more in terms of longevity i meant. They are both great lyricists and storytellers. There are many Eminem songs with double and triple meanings and i love language so thats why it resonates with me.
