He was near to the limits of that rule by not crashing and completing the laps on F2 (meaning his "true" pace are there), because certain driver who exceeded that rule and are allowed to race are mostly caused by crash, mechanical/terminal damage, or red flagged before their hotlap started (Stroll French GP 2021). 19:41 Honestly, I think that someone with enough knowledge of the sport and elementary racing career (even amateur karting) could very well match his performance over the course of a season in F2. Talking about lap times is hard without ever driving the car, but I think that a normal person knows how to turn the wheel in 3-point turn, checkered flag means finish, slow down when the SC sign is out and don't go before the guy in front. I'd love to see a normal, inexperienced guy vs Raghunathan in a F2 season.

During 2011 in the inaugural Indian F1 GP, the support race was the JK Racing Asia Series! I was like 15 at the time and that was my first ever experience in a F4 car and first time on the circuit (not the best combo)! So i was out and about in the 15min Practice Session trying to get better coz i was clearly the slowest there not ashamed to admit that, and when i get back my dad tells me that Mahaveer took my Driver Pass which has my photo and such on it and tried to get into the Pitlane!!!! Theoretically there are a few good things about being so slow : If it wasn't for those pesky other teams lapping you all the time, you would spend more time on the track and your sponsors get more exposure because spectators now have more time to watch the livery of the car. As for the comparison you made between MotoGP riders vs F1 drivers, it's... well, very dumb, like many of Red Bull's videos. MotoGP and F1 are completely different sports that cannot be compared. In F1 you turn using the steering wheel, in MotoGP you lean and countersteer instead. If you did the opposite and had Vettel or Ricciardo race a Honda bike, they would be minutes off-pace. The comparison with Eddy the Eagle is not fair to Eddy. It is clear Mahaveer doesn't give a shit about the rules, even the most basic ones. Also, he didn't improve at all, which also shows a lack of commitment. At least Eddy bothered to actually try and, you know, train and stuff.
Raghunathan was a waste of a Formula 2 seat.

Yeah and he chose ski jumping, have you ever stood on top of that hill, I did, can't imagine going down that. Takes some skill and a couple of big sized balls.
And I honestly thing that Mahaveer honestly hated driving. He never even pretended to care.
The other thing to note is that the only life that Eddie Eagle ever endangered was his own. It's pretty hard to accidentally hurt someone else when you're Olympic ski jumping. Mahaveer put dozens of other people's lives at risk with his antics.

So i used to race karts in India with Mahaveer but i was never in the same class as him cuz im around 3/4 years older i think, the weaving i saw in this video is literally the same as during his karting days, i remember on one race weekend he managed to bend 3 different rear axles on his kart ( dont remember if this was across the whole weekend or just during practice). his disregard for the rules doesnt really seem to have changed since karting, he wasnt the best at it but i would assume as he got older he'd learn to obey the rules more but that doesnt seem to be the case.
