Holy moley! If I boulder for like 2 hours I fry my cns so much I feel like I'm catching a cold the next day! Y'all are built different! BTW you guys are absolutely THE BEST outdoor climbing lifestyle channel. Amazing people, amazing footage, amazing editing.
What a fun video to stumble across! I just climbed Fishhook, Mithril, and East Buttress last month! Fun to see it through another persons video. I personally thought the rock quality and views were the coolest on Fishhook! Keep up the good work :)
Outstanding guys! I know producing content like this is a lot of hard work, but you two bring such positive energy and being able to live vicariously through you two from all the way here is Australia is something I really look forward to. Thank you 😊
It’s incredible out there. Editing the video I’m like “I want to go back!!”. Such a good time and we’re both super fortunate to have a partner that is into the same activities 🙌🏼
So, the two of you are getting some good stuff done! It's your first season high altitude-alpiney climbing. Here's some good news for you. Your bodies will be better at adapting every time you go to altitude. As this season progresses, you'll get stronger. And next year will be better yet. BTW..... keep up the good work.
Well Done. At 59, putting in a 12 hour day results in a recovery time of a similar amount of DAYS. Most recent was a few weeks ago in the cascades. Always quality content!
i tune in, and after, find myself asking, “what. am i doing. w/ my life?” much appreciate the share of yer’ granite adventures. between the views and clinking of the aluminum rack - i’m jealous. nothing beats the alpine - especially in the whitney zone. cheers!
You know… just today I was asking MYSELF “what am I doing with my life?”Cause sometimes making these videos can feel pointless. Like why am I making videos about just climbing rocks. Then I remember the comments and the real human people who get a kick out of these videos and it feels a little more worth it. Glad you’re here. Hope we can keep bringing the stoke to your screen.
Just bought my first pair of climbing shoes today! Thank you guys for helping me decide on my new pair of mythos lol. They are amazing and so are you guys!
Climbed Whitney and Russel in the 70's. I have thought of climbing Russel (but just the Class 3 route) to change my comment in the summit register. My surf board wasn't stolen. It blew off my car and a guy actually found it and returned it to me. I doubt I will ever get the chance to change it though.
Hey that is an awesome story though! Maybe next time we go up I’ll make a note “PS: Gary Wilson said his surfboard wasn’t actually stolen, it just blew off the car” 😅 thanks for being here 🙏🏼
Sic video a bit of suffering makes for epic memories, have y’all heard of the Sierra big 4 alpine climbs that are red dihedral-10b, Coness sw face-10c, temple crag- dark star-10c, and Keeler needle, Harding route 10+, looks like y’all should consider at some pt. cuz you’re really gettin after it
@@codyandvictoria it seems like you’re fit and skilled enuf even if a daunting set of objectives, I’ve only done the red dihedral which is longer but not much more difficult than the mithril dihedral
Guys - if you want to be doing this for a long time you wanna look after those knees. Would highly recommend getting a pair of lightweight trekking poles. You're in a lot of chossy 3rd class approach terrain which can be a nightmare coming down. Having poles is like being like a spider with four points of contact. There's some evidence as well they take the weight off your knees a bit but mostly they provide essential stability for descending down chossy gullies and slopes.
@@codyandvictoria I agree, it depends on the terrain. Some terrain they constantly get caught/hung up. Nice job, can't imagine carrying all the overnight gear and bagging a peak the same day and another one the next day. Woot.
It’s one of those things that gets easier over time. And then you have to intentionally make it harder 😂 There’s a Davinci resolve power grade in our sellfy store that we’re using. It’s a little more than just a LUT but the lut does some heavy lifting for sure
Sadly an example of beginners errors. Confident of things one shouldn’t be and not being afraid of things one should be. Altitude sickness is not a joke and you both almost had serious consequences. Not understanding how to acclimate pace rest eat drink essential. Unfortunately on you’ve a macho go for it attitude is championed. Get some some guidance for. Congrats on adding Stio as a sponsor. What a great brand!!!
Super stoked on them! They’ve been amazing and the gear is top notch!

So stoked to hear that! We’ve always believed if people could only find our videos they would enjoy them! Hope we can keep bringing the 🔥

We liked mithril the best but they’re all great!

Thanks so much. Always nice when someone recognizes what goes into these videos. We love it thought and are trying to make them better and better
It feels so GOOD to surpass your expectations for yourself! Nice work crushing the hike in and an aesthetically gorgeous video as always.
For sure!! Hoping to keep the momentum going for the season!
A+ content. You guys are such an epic couple. Joy to watch ❤

Psyched that you made it back and got redemption this time around, that summit was so epic!
Solid video and beautiful views!!
Wow, awesome coverage, beautiful views. And the soulmatiness of the two of you really comes through.

Awesome video. One of my favorites, I loved the push on day 2, it got me psyched!

True grit getting back at it in the morning, my guys!

Thank you for this amazing content.
Hard to watch y’all so spent with a pitch or two left…but it was nice to see you eating this time around, haha. 😂 Beautiful country, way to go!
Oh man we were so dead. Mostly just TIRED 😅 but it was worth it. Type 2 fun as they say…. Thanks as always for the support 🙏🏼

@@codyandvictoria That would be cool!
Awesome video quality! A7CII with the Sigma 24-70? Looks juicy and fit very well to the adventures
Sony 20-70 now. Just a little lighter which is nice 👍

My knees are already so bad 😭 Unfortunately the poles are annoying but maybe one day I’ll go for it

Nat Geo quality. We don’t deserve y’all ❤ I want to be Victoria when I grow up!
Haha 🤣
Nice views. You guys make it look so easy. But I couldn't and wouldn't do it lol. Is that your lut you using on the video. It looks good..

I cannot relate to your strength and bravery!
I’m sure you’ve got some skills that we couldn’t relate to either. 😅 but thanks for the comment - we’re just trying to have a good time out there
I canceled Netflix to watch this couple in action
🤣 we’re trying to get to that Netflix quality. Big films in the works 👀
