Beautifully shot. Amazing video, as always! You guys are such an inspiration! Keep doing what you love and keep sharing it with us, if you will, it's a true blessing to watch your videos, so thanks for sharing! Till the next adventure😁
Castleton Tower is the most epic and memorable climb of my 12yrs of active climbing. I wish they had showed some video of the desent. It was scary. Rocks like ball-bearings on a big slope. Falling there would bust you up
Continue to love your videos and energy guys. Also, bought one of Cody’s prints the other day of Banff and absolutely love it on the wall in my office. Stay well and I’ll plan on buying more prints soon!
It was really cool running into you guys in Moab, thanks for taking a minute to stop and say hi! Incredible video, super well done and the climbing looked like a blast!
Crazy! The views are awesome. We have shot video in that valley and will be going back as it is one of the most beautiful views around. Live in Montrose, Colorado so we're very familiar with the entire area. Climbing isn't for us older folks, but we're still seeking adventure and capturing the footage we can get. Hiked Fisher Towers and run Onion Creek. We'll get drone footage as that is as close as we'll get to the top of those tower. Great video and thanks for sharing! 😄😄😄😄😄
If you make it out to Denver I'd love to do some intermediate climbing in Eldorado Canyon with ya'll. There are a ton of Kor routes here to keep the spice factor high with a 10 minute approach!
Kor-Ingalls is no joke and you guys crushed it. Moab/ Castle Valley is one of my favorite places on the planet. You should come check out The Mace in Sedona if you like bagging desert towers.
We've climbed the mace actually but would like to get it again cause I had to pull on some gear 😳 It's at the very end of our ancient art video. Such a good climb though. A total grunt fest
You both are gettin' after it. Well done! If you're still there be on the lookout for an asian dude in a black van with MA plates. John Willard. He guides me on rock and ice in NH.
this video was playing in my gym the other day on the "super humans" or "chive tv" channel. I was like "hey, I know those two!" Sorry I don't watch more of your content I get super anxiety about heights, so some of it is hard for me to watch...congrats on you successful climb and you success on UA-cam.
WOW. i love your videos. this one was so epic. scary as i hate heights. how on earth do you get down without losing all your equipment? anyway, keep doing what you're doing, i'm loving following along.
Hey! Very common question so we're gonna answer it! The first person up puts the gear in, the second person takes it out. Rinse and repeat until you get to the top. At the top there's permanent "bolts" that you lower off of so you don't have to leave anything behind. Thanks for watching and asking! We appreciate you being here 🙏🏼
So, this climb has been rated 5.9+ since it was first climbed, and has by community consensus of subsequent climbers over the next few years, maintained that rating. But this guy's telling someone the Cruz is 5.20b. Get a clue
Often times climbs, especially in the 5.9 range are much harder than the typical 5.9 rating. So yeah - it’s “5.9+” but anybody who has actually climbed it would tell you it’s definitely harder than 5.9. This is why they call it “old school”. Meaning it’s actually harder. Go climb it and tell us what you think
@@codyandvictoria no, they are not, not the classics. That climb is 5.9+. You are aiding in the degradation of the established and functioning grading system by claiming a classic climb such as this is graded harder than it actually is. In your video you alluded to your inexperience at climbing at that level. Do you really believe you are competent to make such a claim ? As opposed to, damn that was hard, so that's what 5.9+ climbing is
The only shot I can find is at 6:39 and you can’t really tell one way or another from that clip from what I could see. Might be confusing with the clove hitch there. But I’m gonna say no it’s not backwards - someone would have noticed Edit: found it at 6:52. I see what you’re seeing! So Victoria is holding both ends of the grigri strand. The strand coming out of the bottom is the opposite side of her clove hitch going down to the pile on the ground. Definitely a strange illusion
If you like cool videos, you should subscribe 😝 Thanks for watching! 🙏🏼
Crushed it... the cinematography and editing was incredible as well!
Absolutely incredible. I've been to that tower but before I ever considered climbing. Castle valley is gorgeous.
Such a beautiful area!
Thanks!
Thanks for the support 🙏🏼
This one stood out big time. Maybe because I have a connection with those climbs but the filming and edit just hit so good! Quality stuff yall🎉
Thanks so much! Both of those climbs are so good!! 10/10 Would climb again
Amazing video guys! The production value was top tier.
Thanks for noticing 😂 sometimes I feel like it's not worth the effort

That was so good! You guys crushed the video 🔥
Appreciate it dude!!

Always love your guy’s videos! This one felt different! It made my palms sweaty watching! Those towers were so sick! Great job!

Same to you! It was great to meet you and were glad you stopped to say hi. Hope we catch you around again sometime!
Amazing! Awesome views!
I’ve hugged ropes to the top, does that count? Stunning climbs. Great film. Way to get it done
Appreciate you stopping by Levi! 🙏🏼 Getting to the top of that thing is cool no matter how you do it.

New video LETS GOOOOO love watching yall with my wife
🙌🏼🙌🏼
The drone footage 😍😍😍
Always nice when it's allowed!
This is absolutely insane you guys! Beauty film too. How much does all the gear you climb with weigh?
Thanks friends! Honestly I'm not sure how much it weighs. Google says it weighs around 10lbs or so! Probably a tiny bit more with all the big stuff.
Always happy to see you guys in Utah 😁 killer video as always 🤘
Thanks a ton!! Utah is the best
beautiful cinematography, subscribed!
Thanks so much! More to come 🙏🏼
Really love your stories!
🙏🏼

We'll def keep that in mind!
I lose balance just watching these vids. You’re beasts.
Love the video, great job. Headed out to climb today.

Thanks friend 🙏🏼
Lighthouse tower is on the list!
I'd say it's allmmmossstt as cool as ancient art and no crowds!
would you mind if you tell me which type of drones you used in this video, thanks a lot!
Air 2s
@@codyandvictoria thanks man😝
pure pleasure 😍
I so wish I could do this!!! Love your videos!
You probably could! We've only been climbing for like 4 years or so. With a guide / mentor you could get there faster probably 😆
I'm 53 years old. Mountains are my passion but I live in Michigan. No mountains in Michigan.
ua-cam.com/video/z9jkD2n_ZB8/v-deo.html
I hope you find your way to the mountains sometime soon! And you're also never too old to hire a guide for some fun, easy climbing.
OMG why the hell can't I put more than one like... This is dream life!!
Haha! Thanks my friend. Really appreciate it

Amazing! 🤩
Feel like I got sriracha in my eyes, cause all these climbs been looking spicyyyyyyy
🌶️🔥🥵
Sir Edmund Hillary. Reinhold Messner. Cody & Victoria. ✌🏻😎
Lmao this is the craziest list I’ve ever seen
What’s your go pro settings?
I'm using GoPro labs with 180mbps I believe. Shooting in natural on the hero 11. 5.7k 8:7 at 24fps
So when’s the Nat Geo collab coming?? The quality is 🔥
@natgeo where ya at? 🤣 Preciate you! ♥️
I just free climbed it
너무 멎집니다 너무 예쁜 커플이에요❤

Drove 128 back in 2011 past Fisher tower and castle valley thinking who would be crazy enough to climb rocks like these and 💥here you are 😅🫷
HAHA we're not the only ones that's for sure.
