Welcome to the 500 family! I've owned five. Make sure you properly clock the eccentric when you rebuild the rear shock. Yours, like a lot of others, is 180 degrees off, hence the stinkbug stance.
I have an 87. In case you didn't know, and Panthera did not inform me before I purchased the kit. You will have to cut the frame to install the battery box. Also after the flywheel cover is installed your OEM shift lever will not clear the cover. I heated and bent mine to allow for the almost 1" difference in covers. Other than that it's a great investment. A little salty at $2k after all is said and done but well worth it to me. Good luck.
What is the starting technique you are talking about? Where did you buy the rear shock rebuild pieces and are you going to do a video on that rebuild? Thanks!
This quad was sold shortly after I bought it. I still have the extra rear shock and rebuild. I might repair it then throw it on ebay. If I do I will film it. I found the parts on ebay after some research

But I do use ebc or dp pads usually. I have dp sponsorship so. I would send that shock out and get it perfect, I use impact solutions, it was a game changer for me this season.
What u do for the nitrogen in the shock. Honestly some of those cheap brake pads are actually not bad. I've blown right through OEM and tried niche front pads and they are actually good.
They definitely do work. I'm just keeping it in the back of my mind to get the ebc pads I like to use. Nitrogen I will take and have charged at my local bike shop
I’ve got a ?, under left fender the coolant reservoir at cold should it have fluid in it? Just bought 89, mine I don’t see any in it. I’m talking when the motor is cold
@@garagemcmatt I got a guy from Massachusetts to build me one he’s legit seems like a straight shooter. I’ll send you the info if you’re interested appreciate you look forward to more content.

Mike had his go pro running. He might post it on his extra channel. I didn't film we just wanted to enjoy some bikes

There should be some in there. How full does it get when it gets warm.
@@garagemcmatt honestly, I’ve took around yard maybe 3 times this year. I’ll check when riding. At cold, fill halfway up?
Can you convert a Honda TRX 450 kickstart to a electric star?
I believe the crank is different. I'm sure u could if you changed enough parts but might not be worth doing
I need some help bad….whst kind of case saver are you running ? I can’t seem the find one anywhere . Thanks
This 500 was missing a case saver. And I sold the quad. Maybe someone in the comments can help you. Maybe try ebay
