These are the only guys that are happy when a major league show barely beats a minor league one, I wouldn't be bragging about just barely beating a third tier show.
Considering NXT actually beat AEW in the Second Hour And Excuse me, didn't AEW lose almost 300,000 from it's lead in , while NXT audience increased as the show went on
I can go on this rant about Tweedle Dee (Dave Meltzer) and Tweedle Duh (Alvarez) regarding their takes. All I will say is AEW's flagship show Dynamite beat NXT last week...though not by much. A flagship show like Dynamite use to pull in 1 million to 800,000 viewers against NXT...they pulled in almost the same amount as NXT on Tuesdays last week in the 600,000 range. Talk about a drop off.
It’s not an accomplishment for AEW to beat NXT at this point. They are good enough to beat NXT but probably will never be able to challenge main roster WWE because they can’t get out of their own way. Imagine wanting to be a successful wrestling company and choosing Colt Cabana over CM Punk. They will never be more than they are right now making those kinds of decisions.
The only battle AEW is in is with itself. Everything many of us thought was going to happen to them did. Tony thinks he's at war with WWE when in reality AEW is destroying itself no help needed. WWE is just watching and laughing.
@@And_Hoo_R_U AEW is down business wise. Tony keeps hiring wrestlers but a bunch just sit at home. The Video game is a massive money pit. The wrestlers are payed way too much. Just from a business perspective its not looking good. I wanted them to do well but internally and injury wise it's a mess. I worked for an independent with guys who did all the crazy moves these guys are doing with far less injuries. Something is seriously wrong from training to management. The booking is awful as well. I hope they can turn it around. Tony has the people to help fix this he just has to let them.
@@twk8520 you can actually see the numbers and stats on how their doing business wise, they're not bad. As for booking, that's subjective so if you think the bookings really that bad there's not much I can say to help you think otherwise so agree to disagree. I do agree with you that management wasn't doing great for a few months this past year but they've been making changes to that, moxley is gonna be helping young guys with putting together matches now that he extended his deal, Jericho has been great backstage as he actually genuinely cares about the company, Danielson has helped training people, and that's just a few people. The punk stuff was a massive blow, but these are growing pains as a relatively new company
@@And_Hoo_R_U If they can turn it around I'm all for it Regal, Danielson and others need to take the reigns. WWE has structure even if people have issues with them. AEW strength was in being an alternative if they can push the difference like TNA did in the early days or ROH ECW even WCW they have a chance. Due to their budget. They lost their way when in my opinion when it became about the next WWE guy coming in and on spotfest matches with no story.
@@twk8520 I wouldn't say the problem was bringing in so many WWE guys, I think there was just too many guys in general, but now WWE is doing the same thing, and after a few months they'll have a similar problem and the rosters will inevitably level out
That whole WON group of guys are a bunch of dorks. Alvarez is the epitome of the worst kind of wrestling fan. AEW have their smart mark, nerd fanbase and honestly I hope they all stay there and keep cheering Kenny and the other acrobats there. Let HHH build a product that over time more passive fans like and get the cool factor going for it like UFC etc
Upset about Brian Alverez stating AEW won the War or Tuesday night ratings is dumb. Yes they won. Yes they were going head-to-head because of baseball. Wanting to say baseball won the War sounds like they're making an excuse for WWE. Yes Alverez and Meltzer come off as AEW fanboys. That doesn't make you cool or smart to come off in defense of WWE to counter it. The thing the hosts are right about is to get upset that they downplayed Hangman's injury. Concussions are a big deal. Look at Tua for the Miami Dolphins. Chris Nowiski had his wrestling career cut short because of a concussion and he's been rightfully fighting to make concussion studies and protocols much more stringent in both wrestling and football.
Everything u just named for a reason to turn into AEW....doesn't happen on air LoL This argument is a bad as Alvarez! Actually if WWE gets to constantly blame sports for why they dropped, even though they have been working around sports for like....30 years....than AEW gets to ignore sports all together and claim victory. I hate a hypocrite, rather its my favorited or my mother LoL come on guys. Tighten up

AEW: Loses 22% of its audience from a year ago.
NXT: Gains 20% of a new audience from a year ago.
Alvarez: "AEW wun da Tuesday Night War!!!!!"
Hahaha
I heard if Alvarez criticizes AEW, he’s not allowed to give Meltzer back massages anymore.
You're all sad MFs
This is as if Dixie was bragging about beating OVW, Deep South Wrestling and FCW in the ratings.

Alvarez was the one that “reported” HHH was determined to beat AEW at all cost lol.
Lmao they were
Funny part? Wouldn't take much. Just replace NXT with Raw on the time slot.

Don't worry, we don't need to see his face. His smugness is projecting through the audio clip

Just how callused are Alvarez’s knees from the AEW shower-room??
AEW has been competing with NXT. Not Smackdown, not RAW. How was this ever a war?
Those fans and WON are the ones that started this "ratings war". Imagine if Dixie bragged about beating OVW in the ratings.
It’s like when the Jets beats people the Patriots.. for third in the division.
