What happened the first time between him and the bucks that caused all the drama
brawl out is under NDA, he couldn't talk about it
Then AEW showed the footage and proved Punk right. Then AEW brought back Jack Perry and that's when I gave up on AEW.. Sucks too cuz I was digging em. But the mentality is shit, Tony is not a real boss and promoter.
Boom!!! goes the Dynamite.
Good clip, Kyle!
Well, ever since the media scrum and how he acted on Twitter publicly, i was never really sure what to make of Tony Khan. I respected the fact that he became a part of creating a competing wrestling company, because competition breeds quality. But I was never really sure about the guy, especially as a bossman, because it never really felt like he was the boss there.
Tony could have been the biggest babyface in all of wrestling if he had hired someone who knew how to book/run s**t, but he was too arrogant/credit hungry to do that.
Tony Khan is the modern day Eric Bischoff the way he lets his talent and employees run loose. I know Bischoff would lose his absolute mind and meltdown over that comparison.
Uncle Chael is always right. Undefeated and undisputed.
greatest of all time
CM Punk wandering around London should have been filmed
I wonder how Vince would have handled that whole situation.
He would’ve told Taker to handle it and he would’ve chewed everyone’s ass out
Now he is back in the big league
this story all makes sense until he said he just casually chokes him out. what laid back unangry grown adult first move is a chockeout and not a slap/push or punch
They say punk is selfish and stuff when bro literally said he quits and still goes out to wrestle for Joe Jerry lynn the referee and the fans out of respect
Nothing Punk said was new. It's all been out there if you've been listening.
This was one of the versions out there. The whole lunging at Tony thing I never bought...fearing for his life was hysterical. The outrageous nonsense has been out there along with this version and somehow there are people who believe the lies. Common sense with the limited facts we did have would tell ya that Punk wasn't a saint but definitely not the one to blame for all the chaos. It's really unfortunate because they did so much damage to their own image that some people will never go to work there no matter how much $ TK throws at em. It's horrible for the business. I had such high hopes for AEW a few years ago
He couldn’t let him get close. Enough said
