Holy shit. When you were cutting that bunker board I was scared lol. All you had to do was get a car jack and a piece of 4x4 and jack up the damn boat off the bunker.

I’m a new princecraft springbok 16’ boat owner and i am kneeling toward installing my fish finder like your installation .. but i will be adding a Teflon plate instead of just going straight in the alluminum ..

I thought the same!!! Easy way to cut a grove into the bottom of the boat!
You should apply marine underwater sealant on any holes you drilled,like 3M 5200.

It’s still running just fine. It will read fine without bubbles until we reach about 10 mph
