i love both games, but i feel like replicant would have been a more interesting anime to see. automata has too many meta elements that seem impossible to replicate in an anime format
I’m still wishing that this nier should’ve gotten the adaptation instead of automata… the depth, the dark and the gloom of the story really deserves to be told on multiple platforms, and it needs to be known and reach more audiences I love automata, hell it’s actually my first yoko taro game, but I feel like it took its enough time to be known (??? Sorry idk how to word it properly)

After reading a specific comment of someone who had dark thoughts. I mus tsay that it is so beautiful to see how many ppl come to listen to these soundtracks in their darker moments or jsut relax. Even tho this sieries is filled existencial dread and end of humanity. It still shows us to appreaciate the beautiful moments in life.
I was just kinda sleep, hearing a The Stand by Stephen King audiobook on my old dumb phone; which i use as an MP3 & MP4 player when i want to stay log off from all social media for a while (the phone doesn't work for call or message either). Got it on random mode, and it was just ending i think what it was one of the trashcan's man chapters and it went "and he beging to hum the melody of a little tune under his breath" and this song started to sound, suddenly fully wake up, feeling compelled by the beauty of this song :).
I remember listening to this on a channel called "Bobchichilongas" sadly it was taken down. Im not sure if Calorie Game Music had this version. Taking that channel down was a crime.
I remember that channel, I downloaded the shadowlord mashup before it was taken down. It also included a soundbar graphic like this one. It had really great art of Young Nier.
