    Anatolia (Anadolu) is the name of the peninsula where Turkey is located. In the past, Anatolian high schools were private high schools providing intensive English education, then the education ministry included all high schools in this category in 2005.

      Specifically in Beylikduzu I can't really say right now, you would have to search on forums and Google Map reviews to see what people are saying about the schools in that area, and then visit the ones you feel are worth checking out to learn more about them. Good luck!

    i have just recently moved to bursa with my two kids, one is soon 6 years. he just recently joined public school (primary). hopefully he will able to adjust and learn the turkish language. Do you have any recommendation for my situation? should i provide him extra turkish classes or should a kid of this age be able to manage after a couple of months? secondly i wanted him to join Imam hatip school from grade 5, however do you know if they are any similar schools like imam hatip but private in Bursa who emphasise on english as well?

In "Turkish Ministry English Medium Schools" the medium of instruction is English? I am more concerned about Science, Maths and Computers. Are they in English!! Can you share any link from where i can found this turkish english medium school list for Anatalya and Ankara and Istanbul!

    Brother I’m planning to move to Turkey, but I have some concerns about children education.
    My eldest will join grade 10 next year and she will be too late to master Turkish language exam which, as I collected information from a friend ,is a prerequisite to attend medical school college even in private for Turkish citizen. And as I’m going for citizenship line I’m afraid to deprive my daughter this opportunity. What’s your take on it?.

    • @ThinkTurkey

    Could you please tell me the quality of Education in international imam hatip high schools? How about the standard of science education like math phy and chem in these schools? Also, Do they teach in Turkish as well? What if the international kids can't speak Turkish?

    • @ThinkTurkey
      @ThinkTurkey  3 роки тому +1

      The Imam Hatip Schools are public schools and the standard of education depends on the neighborhood and school itself. Some Imam Hatip schools have really high standards whereas others in more rural areas may not.
      If the student doesn't speak Turkish unfortunately there is no Turkish as a second language class in public schools. They will have to learn/adjust and the teachers usually tries to assist with the transition.
      However in international schools they do have additional Turkish lessons to help foreign students learn.

    Hi Brother!! Hope all is fine Inshallah,
    Thank you very much for your videos.
    I would like to gather information on schooling for my children, an 11-year-old son and a 16-year-old daughter (7th and 11th grade). We are Brazilian’s citizens willing to move to ANTALYA, IZMIR or BODRUM as Expats.
    We are spending 30 days this coming July 2022, to get an overview on how is to live in Turkey.
    Along with this trip we would like to visit some school’s facilities and gather information on education methods. To sum up, I came across some International Schools on the web, however we would like schools with English Teaching (as we don´t speak turkish yet) as the primary language, as well as information on fees.
    Could you indicate some international schools in these places?
    Thank you!!!!

    • @ThinkTurkey
      @ThinkTurkey  2 роки тому +1

      Salams Luiz! Thanks for getting in touch. With regards to schools in those regions, it would be best to get in touch with some parents on Facebook groups of those cities, and try to post regarding schools and see what responses you get. I haven't done a detailed survey on the international school quality level, so wouldn't be able to provide an accurate opinion on the topic. Also you may check if there is any Brazilian Embassy Schools, which may offer you special discounts as citizens of Brazil :)

Generally u talked about the background stories of high school but in fact, if you are a successful student,you go to either science or anatalion hs but u r not interested in subjects such as science,math,turkish... you go to technical hs to get a job easily by learning technique.

    brother ,i am thinking of moving to turkey with my 4 kids who happen to have been studying English curriculum. Now the question is ,Are all private English medium Turkish curriculum schools recognized by the ministry,ie can lead to university at the end of high school? How about if they are accepted abroad after completion

    • @ThinkTurkey
      @ThinkTurkey  3 роки тому +2

      The private ones are usually accredited and following some international system. So you can easily transfer to another similar school in another country. This may be a bit more difficult if you go to public schools. Once the kids are in uni however it's easier to transfer over to other unis esp in Europe as many of them have agreements. Lots of students go for Erasmus program - as an exchange student for a semester in Europe.

    • @gulnida7801
      @gulnida7801 3 роки тому

      Learn Turkish if you can. Most people in Turkey doesn't speak english. even if you go to a full english college, you might have a hard time speaking to people outside. Learn about Turkish culture and history. Turkish people love when foreigners show interest in their culture. And research your college and major's future. There is about 120 colleges in Turkey but most of them are trash. I wouldn't recommend going to them if you are not going to the top 10-15. Some majors has no future because there are so many graduates. For example, Business, Teaching, Construction engineering, psychology, architecture, law, philisophy, sociology, translation are some majors you should probably avoid, because there is so much people who studied these and there are NO job oppurtunities. Med school or tech related majors are better for finding a job. If you plan on living here after graduation you should research what job oppurtinies that major offers. Most people who go to college in Turkey becomes jobless nowadays.
