    Juicy and delicious lemon and herb spatchcock turkey recipe with an easy pan drippings turkey gravy! A spatchcocked turkey is a unique way to prepare your holiday turkey. This method of preparation significantly cuts down on roasting time and yields a juicy turkey every time! I roast the turkey over a bed of onion, apples, lemons, garlic, and herbs for even more flavor! Try pairing it with my Apple Cider Turkey Brine!
    You can use any spread or seasoning for a spatchcocked turkey. I prepared mine with a lemon and herb mayonnaise spread with lemon zest, thyme, garlic, onion, and dried herbs. Try marinating the turkey for 24 hours for the best tasting results.

      Thank you! I recommend using butter instead of mayo. I don't think yogurt would add the same amount of flavor.

    Could you liquidise the cooked vegetables and fruit to make a soup?

    • @TatyanasEverydayFood
      @TatyanasEverydayFood  6 місяців тому

      Hmm, I personally haven't tried doing that before. I recommend removing the orange and lemon peel if you want to try it; the peel will make the soup bitter.

    Good Day Chef 🇺🇦🧑‍🍳. We have talked about smoked bacon 🥓 before so I wanted to share with this with you. I only discovered this because it was on sale but Hormel Black Label Apple wood bacon is really good for those who like that smokey flavor. I'm baking some off now and my apartment smells like I have a fireplace. Just a F Y I. Have a Blessed and Beautiful Day 🇺🇸✝️🇺🇦📖✌️💞🙏🥀😘

      Good morning! Thank you so much for sharing! I'm always trying out different brands of bacon to find that perfect one! I'm going grocery shopping today and will pick some up to try! I'm planning to make my Smoked Salmon Chowder this week! Have a fantastic week! :)

      @@TatyanasEverydayFood Good Morning Chef 🇺🇦🧑‍🍳. I hope you like my recommendation but I don't like salmon. The only way I was able to enjoy it was when I worked at a French restaurant and we cured our own salmon. I would take a 1/4 inch slice and chargrill it. It didn't have that fishiness salmon has to me. I think my palette is sensitive to the Omega 3 oils. But I'm sure I will find an alternate seafood to use. Have fun shopping 🛒, I always do. Have a Blessed and Beautiful Day 🇺🇸✝️🇺🇦📖✌️💞🙏🥀🧑‍🍳

      @@edward2448 I'm super picky about my salmon, too! I find that many brands are too fishy for me, too. I haven't tried making my own cured salmon, but I need to give it a try someday. I'm sure it will be much better than the store bought!
      Thank you!

      @@TatyanasEverydayFood This is a silly joke about Salmon. If someone asks you if you've ever smoked a Salmon you tell them that I've tried but I couldn't keep it lit, or I've tried but I couldn't find a pipe big enough or I've tried but they're hard to roll. Told you they were silly 😜

    Good Day Chef 🇺🇦🧑‍🍳. Just like my mother made it (Not)🤭. They invented the word dry just for her Thanksgiving meal. I often make my children this way. You need a french duck press to squeeze the stuff in from the pan. Have a Blessed and Beautiful Day 🇺🇸✝️🇺🇦📖✌️💞🙏🥀

      My mom just gave up on roasting turkey at some point!
      I love this method, especially since the turkey roasts so much faster. Frees up the oven for more dishes!

      @@TatyanasEverydayFood Hi again Chef 🇺🇦🧑‍🍳. First of all I meant to say I make my chicken 🐔 that way not children 🤣. Have you tried the deep fryed method.? When I lived in NYC I worked for an on site caterer and we did a party for a relative of the Tabasco sauce company and they sent us about 8 Turkey's that were marinaded in and injected with Tabasco along with the deep fryers, 2 of them. WOW was that delicious. It was a really cool job that day. Gobble Gobble 🦃.🇺🇸 ✝️🇺🇦🧑‍🍳📖✌️💞🙏
