Good Day Chef 🇺🇦🧑🍳. You can't beat a good meatball. I also make mine in the marinara sauce from raw. My mother fryed them first and put them in the sauce but My Nonna taught me to slow poach them in the sauce. Her recipe wasn't as herby as yours. She was a very basic cook. Sauce was onion, garlic, tomatoes and Basil 🌿 S+P. The meatballs too, meat mix, lots of parmesan cheese, garlic, egg, S+P. I do prefer to cook the meatballs in the sauce, stays tender and firm at the same time. Also my favorite pizza topping. Have a Blessed and Beautiful Day 🇺🇸✝️🇺🇦🇮🇹📖✌️💞🙏🥀😘🧑🍳
Hi! Thank you for always watching! I love them like this in the sauce, too. I think they stay juicier and more tender. Love, love the flavors and texture of these! I always buy my ground meat at the counter, not the vacuum sealed packages. Makes a huge difference, too!
@@TatyanasEverydayFood Hi again Chef 🇺🇦🧑🍳. I used to get my ground meat at my friend's butcher shop until it burnt down last year. I would get a Veal, Beef and Pork blend. Also my custom made sausages and double smoked bacon. I don't like commercial butchers. So much of the meats were wrapped up before they left the processing plant. My butcher friend actually bought the restaurant I used to make the cheesecakes for. My friend retired from the restaurant business. I think your meatball recipe would make a nice sausage too. Can they be frozen to reheat later for those other serving options?
What’s the reason for using pork? It seems there are no meatball options in restaurants that are not made with pork.. if I want to use beef only, is there anything extra to do that pork may be providing for the texture of the meatballs.

Hi! Yes, these are great for freezing. I would bake them first, let them cool, then place into the freezer.
The pork has more fat and adds more flavor. You can make these with beef only! If you can find it, try using 75/25 (protein/fat ratio). The extra fat will add more flavor and make the meatballs juicier.
