Yo Chris! Here is a challenge for the Moore Mafia. There are many R-1 fans. Why don't you get one and make it fast. I would love to see one with all the goodies on it (velocity stacks, full exhaust, flash, BST's, o-ring chain delite, extended swingarm, ceramic bearings, lowered riding position, and anything else you feel might help), please. I love the channel content. Keep it up. Lets see some roll racing on your Gixxer.
These things are real quick.. ran one out in the wild a few weekends ago on my s1000rr. Definitely wasn't expecting to see him next to me the whole run (only went to 150s)
Not condoning street racing, but just saying that based on most videos I've seen, S1000RRs start pulling away from other literbikes after 150. They get a second wind.
New tire makes smaller dyno numbers and no velocity stacks this is a very strong engine. Can you make a video explaining deference of crossplane engine on torque and horse power curve?
2006 was the year for the LE limited edition. Gold magnesium wheels, connecting rods and Olin’s suspension. I know someone who owns #62/500 since new. The 06 SE Special Edition was a stock R1 with the anniversary paint scheme.
Keep up the great videos and content coming more mafia... I wonder if it would help to disconnect the battery prior to disconnecting the ECU in regards to the codes...
Serious gains but never been a Kawasaki fan . 2 gsxr 1000 drag bikes & a busa turbo pro street in my garage in England 🇬🇧. Performance bikes have suzuki written on them . Keep it coming Chris & huge congrats on 5 second pass 👏
My 2022 R1 60th anniversary dyno'd 187.52 stock chain and rear sprocket, SC Project pipe, factory header.. high flow filter. AFR adjustments only, in South Florida Humidity, w temp in the low 80's..a good winter weather day in South Florida.. sounds like they are all pretty consistent, given weather, altitude and Dyno variables..
my R6 did a high number on my mechanics dyno i just think M4 is an underrated brand more people should be buying them the only downside to them is the FULL carbon if only the end was like a metal as the heat from the exhuast is so much over time it will brown the carbon fiber around the hole ...but maybe thats all exhausts
Hi brother Was waiting for yamaha r1 dyno review again because after watch your video I bought same 60th anniversary and I am really want to see as high as i can get power from my beautiful boy
Me and my step-dad wanna get our bikes tuned at your shop sometime before spring I have a 2021 r1 and he has a 2021 gsxr1000 hope to see you guys in the new year
Hi Chris ! Been watching a lot of your videos lately and you have being doing an excellent job , keep it up . Since we have a lot of R1 owners here does anyone know if the 2004-2006 R1 has an Electronic Throttle Valve restriction ? I have my `05 R1 with Factory Pro stacks , KN air filter , ARROW decat link pipe , Akrapovic Evo SP mufflers . It must be running lean as Hell .....
What is the longevity of ceramic bearing street use setups? The dyno also doesn't take into account the front wheel drag and ram air effect. Curious to see real world 100-190+ times.
@@FlexFast Gotcha, thanks. I thought maybe there were some new materials out or something for motorcycles since so many people seem to be running them on street bikes now.
Will I loose my riding modes with a ecu flash and how do I disable my wheelie/ launch controls on my 2022 Zx10r? Please help. I wanna make the trip for you too tune and flash.
Doubt it. I have an ECU flash from Moore Mafia on my Gixxer and i still am able to use A and B mode. Best to send him an email. They respond extremely fast.
Either my 22 anniversary is broken, are the guy doing my dyno pulls didn't know what he was doing. Mine only did 172. With the m4 mid, Chris's tune and a sprint p08. Spoke with Chris about it, he thinks it was slipping on the dyno as well.
About to de cat my bike with austin racing gp3. Instead of installing servo buddy can I simply leave factory servo motor, remove the cables but leave the electrical plug connected so the engine will not show on dash.
@@roamconfidently3724 it wouldn’t show much change in the dyno results. There is a break in period before your able to get the full potential out of the bearings.
@@holiday_468 I am from the world of jet engines, and this is not my understanding of ceramics work. The ball is much harder than the cage and inner and out races. Any wear that occurs is going to be on an inner or outer race or cage assembly. Bearings are rated by ABEC standards, and the higher the standard the tighter the tolerances. Wear is not good in a bearing, if you want looser bearings buy an ABEC 5 instead of and ABEC 7 or ABEC 9. I have played with ceramics in a couple of other high rpm applications, and I have never seen a break-in period required. If you have not done it, try using an ultrasonic cleaner on the new bearings and running them dry or just a drop or two of a good thin synthetic if you want to see what they can really do.
I have asked before,do you have a tune for a bone stock R1??just to remove the restrictions, clean up fuel delivery on and off transitions things like that. The thing is I wanna keep it collectible..but I’m sure it could run better in stock trim..lower the fan on temperatures will be a start, the thing runs hot by design of course. I have been riding for over 35 years I want to remain alive I don’t race and the bike is plenty fast for me,trying to keep my license too my job depends on it.
My 21 R1 makes 196 wheel with akrapovic evolution, new air filter, and flaps cut out front duct with a woolich tune. Livengood Motorsports Lawrenceville GA
Do you have the same check engine light issue with a 2010 R1 I want the ECU flashed, but then I would have to take it to the dealer to get the codes removed or is there a way to do it without the tool?
Hi Chris love your vids, what are you doing on the new R1 with the IAT ? I get alot of heat soak and the temperature on the screen can be up to 20c higher than ambient temperature. No one has touched on this topic with the newer r1. Perhaps you could shed some light on your thoughts ? Thanks in advance and love from Australia
This is part of the reason I hate dyno readings. Different dynos will read a little higher/lower than others. It makes it hard to actually compare the hp between bikes. Chris Moore's dyno seems to read pretty low compared to others, but we've seen SO many bikes dyno'd on his setup that I feel like we can actually see how they compare.
Yamaha must have the best husband's, they never ever miss an anniversary.

whats o ring chain delete?
@@tkurban putting a chain with no o-rings!
