The make commentators comments about a front runner losing are irritating. Completing that it's always better to hang back and make a move for the front late in the race . Whereas it actually depends on several factors.
I have been saying this forever, when you lead a race it’s imperative that you don’t burn yourself out. The runner in second place is waiting for you to gas out so they can pass you. A lot of the times, runners don’t mind running in 2-4th because they finish well. Congrats to the winner.
I didn’t see any gas out. The winner just saved a final kick and the girl who was in front most of the race didn’t have a kick to match. I didn’t see the splits but it looked like the winner did the last lap in 6-7 seconds faster than the previous lap. The runner up could have very well run the only race possible that would result in a win (try to outpace the field and eliminate the need for final lap moves), but the winner was just better.
Olivia ran the 3rd fastest time by a collegiate runner, at about 95 degrees, and got a 10 second PR!!! Amazing!!!
Brilliant run! Yes, raving about the Lithuanian when Olivia was looking strong and went past!
7:38 The commentator had to retract just 2 seconds after making his prediction.
The Notre Dame runner was waiting for Dwight Stone to make a comment.
He keeps inching ever closer to retirement!
great run by Markezich biding her time until about 2 laps to go, RG 3 with the comic relief at 7:15 ...
Impressive runs by first and second. Look to be added to some of the pro steeple-chasers soon.
This commentating team tends to overcommit to their pre-prepared points - how about focusing on calling the race as it’s happening?
The folks announcing are like the worlds championship Last Year in Eugene
Haha... I Iove when gutsy athletes prove these big mouth 'know it all' commentators to be fools😂
Congratulations to the winner and all the great athletes.

announcers beyond clueless
It wasn't the announcers' finest hour.

@@stephenbeck7222 thought she slowed down
Embarrassing commentary there 😅
I dont think that first barrier was supposed to be there yet. They hurdled within the first 10 seconds of the race and thats not supposed to happen
It’s crazy but because the water jump is on the outside of the track making each lap longer but less laps.
