Rose went right to her arms that last 100m! That definitely helped carry her down! She looked absolutely marvelous. God bless this young lady! You go head on girl 🎉

The announcers must not be good at math - they kept saying that she ran even splits of 58.5 and 58.47. Based on those splits, she would have run a time of 1:56.97. Instead, she ran 1:59.83 - if her first lap was 58.5, the second lap must have been 61.33.

Right? Why in the world did they keep saying that, even though the clock was showing 1:59.83???

*Rose said she follows the Mu play book, she runs her race and which makes every body run her race too. Starts in the front and finishes infront. This aint competition for her, we will see her on the next level!*

Incredible amount of depth in US W800m atm, rivals the 100mH depth!

Other than the short sprints, times were not that fast. Pretty sure the weather was taking a toll.

Rosin makes a mistake trying to pass 20m before the 2nd lap. If she stayed realxed and waited till the last 200 she would've ran faster.

    huh? 58.5 + 58.5 = 1:57:00, and she ran 1:59:83. Someone didn't do their math homework.

Not sure if this means she's still at uni, but no longer competing for them, or is training full time:
"Texas A&M freshman Athing Mu announced her decision to pursue a professional career in track & field and forgo her remaining three years of collegiate eligibility."

Great job Rose! Imagine what she could have done if the temperature was reasonable! Probably break the college record! They need to boycott Nationals until they hold them in San Diego so they can break records while they are in peak form. It’s absurd to keep holding them in the evening in 90+ temperatures. They could at least do it in the morning when it is in the 70’s!

John 12:32 This is when Jesus said, “And I, if I be lifted up from the earth, will draw all men unto Me”
She is a Christian and if Jesus says- to do it- we will not listen to you or anyone else like you.. we ll say it louder

Amazing running by this gifted athlete. The runner who made it to second place was also hugely impressive on that final stretch. Odd to hear athletes giving credit to a god (Zeus? Apollo? Vishnu?), when they actually owe their success to their own hard work and discipline, not some imaginary being floating in the sky.
