- The Xbox Series X/S controller HOPE back buttons kit installation without commentary version. In this version, we used the correct screws to fix the back buttons.
NOTICE:
The installation difficulty is VERY HIGH!
Soldering required (a lot).
It's at your own risk to install this kit, please do it ONLY if you are capable of it!

Tip on install, you do not need to desolder anything. Push the rumble clip up and pull them out, unroute the wires and everything will seperate easily save yourself some time unless you are proficient at soldering.

@@Fap524 that would be lovely. Just Done with the physical Installation and there is no Light showing up on the bsckside of the Controller:D I guess it didnt connect without soldering
You guys should start selling caps for the back switches, not everyone wants the big back buttons that come with the kits.

Hatt alles prima geklappt zwar musste ich den Controller mehrmals öffnen weil die Lötstellen nicht richtig funktioniert haben aber jetzt geht es was schön wäre ein Beipackzettel wo drinnen steht wie man den Programmiert das erspart ewiges rumgesuche gerade wenn man kaum Englisch versteht.
Easy to install, but I had some hiccups, and that was my fault. No problem with the remap function. Awesome product Extremerate, and now my PS5 controller is next.
Man, this looks amazing but the amount of soldering is scary, it feels like I'm going to mess up somehow.
Question for the makers behind this, are you guys also planning to make a revised version down the line with the same style of Backgrips like some of the limited edition controllers (20th anniversary and Forza edition come to mind)?
None of the lights on test board illuminating soder every thing down and re-checked it multiple times 😊

Idk if I’m the only one having issues with this mod but worked perfect for the first few hours after installation went too sleep woke up and none of my k buttons are working properly
Just a little question: is this mod compatible with the LED pack? I mean, can I install both this and that one at the same time?
The soldering position of 5 minutes and 29 seconds should be taken care of. For each point, TP21, TP20, TP14, TP44, etc. should not be soldered in two places. I watched the video and finished the circled area, but it didn't work, so I looked at the ali site where I bought it, and the point was exactly there, so I removed the solder and how many times...

I honestly don't understand what I'm doing wrong but the solder wire refuses to stick pretty sure I just wasted $40

I just did another one today and yea its pretty sweet. The clicky triggers make it even better though. If u havent done it i recommend it you will love it

If I installed a victor x remap kit Extremerate To assemble this kit do I have to change the board I have installed? or can I just detach the cable that connects the card to the card from the keys? I hope I was understandable 😉

I have all the soldering points attached but only 4 lights light up. The other lights light up when i ground the solder points

I just received this and the clicky triggers as a gift along with the swappable thumb sticks.
What order should I install them? Back buttons or clicky triggers first?
I bought everything and installed
Process: install paddles first then triggers then the sticks.
But tear down your controller all the way down as if you’re installing the triggers first.
Any recommendations if tp14 not lighting up? I have tried to resolder it over 5 times. Just in case I have made sure to keep them from bridging.

Hi. My down button on the d pad isn't working after installation. And on the tester board, TP17 isn't lit. Are the two linked? If yes, where can I find TP17 to check the solder? Thanks.

is there another paddle for xbox? this one looks very difficult to assemble and difficult to use
Sadly off button and power kits for the Xbox controllers are fairly difficult they all require lots of soldering and wiring.

They only have the rear paddles for the ps5. Buttons are easy to install thought. I build custom controllers and I prefer the buttons as well over triggers or at least over the triggers that extremerate has. They are a good quality but they are very sensitive and easy to accidentally press. If you want more info I have a fb marketplace account you can dm me. Fb Cory MC Donalds

They do have a PS5 version though, but only 2 buttons. The 4 button version is coming around the end of the year from what I gathered.
