I helped my friend when he modded two of his PS4 controllers and I've gotta say now that I'm looking into my Xbox controller seeing how much more involved/difficult these are to mod is both intimidating and exciting
Am I the only person who noticed the eyes on their left index like a hand puppet? Either that or the best ever random spots for freckles I've ever seen. Nice job by the way haha cheers!
Easy .... Looks awesome. only complaint is there is no way to control brightness. Bonus though is it remembers the lights you set when you turn it off.
If you're here from the Amazon page like me, Pro tip; make sure the buttons "drop" out, when you are holding the controller. If your buttons don't drop when you are mounting the secondary circuit board (the one stuck to the plastic frame) back in, you will have to dismantle the whole controller, and start again. I supposed to say, make sure everything is alligned, before you put the screw even in the first controller, because these buttons WILL sneak up on you. Also the double sided tape is extremely weak, and will give out. So your timing is very limited when doing this.
Is there a way (or somewhere) for me to add/solder more LED lights to this and have them turn on when the kit turns on? I wanted to add a small string of fairy lights to the back of a controller with a clear shell.
I'm a little confused about the bdp an csp ,bdp means when the controller batteries are in it'll stay on? Or only when you turn the controller on? An csp only turns on with the synced button?
Bpd is on as long as there are batteries in the controller and the lights are turned on (menu and select buttons held for 3 secs turns the lights on or off) i think with the csp option the lights come on when you turn on the controller (they are "synced" with the controller). The sync button doesnt do anything special. I did bpd but in the future i think i would do csp because it can be a pain turning them on or off.
We've got reported some series X controller battery plate was soldered with the mainboard. So in this case, you have to use the CSP method, which means you have to do the soldering (not difficult)
If you're saying you don't want to DIY, then you will need (1) a suitable Xbox controller (2) the version of this kit which goes with that controller (3) someone competent to install the kit into your controller. Maybe ask the person in (3) before getting the controller and LED kit.
Looks amazin but i play a lot of gta an enterin color change mode is the same as the interactive menu. Is there any way to stop the colour change mode being used?
Thank you for the instruction video but why not use a exacto-knife / something similar to take off the battery pack sticker instead of pushing the screw driver through it? Also you need to rearrange the order in which its built. To make things easier, for example, bumper lights should go on before buttons.

For those asking for a way to adjust the the brightness you can solder in a small rheostat between the battery supply and the power for the board.
Is there another place I can solder the csp wires to have the leds dim with the xbox logo on the controller
You have such skills that are worth a million and talent.

Really good quality LED’s! They’re bright, and worth the money. A little difficult to install, but really cool! Thanks!
do you have to use the machine he uses in the video?
@@djtanikgotbeatz yes. It is the same controller, the xbox one s 1708 model. It is the same light kit and controller.
Wii you guys make a kit to allow different color zones on the PS5 controller
Do both installation methods work when using a cable instead of batteries?
Can I combine this mod with the remap one ???
It looks cool, but you may as well replace the analog sticks with hall effect ones too, taking this apart is going to be a nightmare.
I think i have the answer but is it compatible with the elite controller ?
Is there a fade option for all colors?
Do u really need the black wires bec I don’t have the thing to add the wire 😢
Do I have to do the soldering part for it to be able to work?

Quando uscirà per il joystick della ps5 BDM030 con il kit led?
The change color settings aren’t working. Any advice? I did not solder. Thanks in advance
So now my "select" button doesn't work. It works to control the functions of the led lights, but doesn't work with my console. Any suggestions?
Tear it apart and make sure the button is making good connection with pad when it is pressed. Its possible something slid in between them.
dose it work on xbox eite 2
Will there be a ps5 version that might come out soon similar to this? Like to where each buttons have their own color option settings?
