First off, this mod is sick bro! That being said, for me personally the soldering option is the best way to install this mod, and you guys should add that the negative wire goes to (c38) in text because it is hard to see in the video.

Well I got it installed. Although the sticky pad with the LED’s on it was different from the video I was able to see how they changed it and implemented the new design to still work great with the controller. I’m impressed. I was able to follow the video pretty well and it turned out great!
I just installed this in my controller and I absolutely love it. I also vinyl wrapped the front shell half with gloss carbon fiber while I had it apart.

I’m going to be honest, I’m not great with putting things together but I’ve done this to two controllers and it’s really not that bad! I love them with lights! Would totally recommend!

If you order directly through their website it cuts down on a lot of the unnecessary extra parts, but since it's shipped from China it can take a while and shipping can be expensive if you aren't getting a large amount of items.

I ordered the LED kit for the regular Xbox Series X controller and the website directed me to THIS video and I don't have the new "Core" controller. They aren't the same thing and the items that came in the box were not what are shown in this video. Really disappointing as I've gotten many extremeRate kits and this is the first that isn't as advertised.

Good mod, but the way the video explains on how to put on the stickers isn’t my favorite as you can just take out both motherboards and put the sticker on there right? I did that atleast

I was looking at the product on Amazon because I wanted to make a mod with The Great Golden Wave Off Kanagawa Black/Gold front casing but the LEDs do not have the pure gold color that matches the aforementioned casing :C
Looks good I got a new revision I think, it dosent come with the halos, but I did some thing wrong the led turn on but the controller it self don't
Please make one that only has transparent button symbols and not the entire button

come on man, nobody just has a soldering kit around, and you got to say the correct things sometimes like tear the wires, do you want them partly or whole so now I have to get new wires and a soldering kit.

I’m not really sure what I’m doing wrong but both ways of connecting the power to the kit are not working no matter what I do. Is there something that I should be looking for to ensure it’s receiving power to the controller?
This was useful but the layout for the LED’s I got is way different. Had this on my last controller and this one sucked cause the thumbstick spots. Now the new ones curve around the outside and not on the motor

I put my first one together yesterday and I think I did something wrong. I did the BDP method and it constantly flickers when putting batteries in and doesn't shut off with the controller. Any insight would be great!

1. Now that the mod is installed to board, can I switch the shell? I didn't know you guys carried clear shells and I wanted try the effect without buying a new LED kit.
2. How do I get the color to be pale/ white? It rotates through white when you do the rainbow effect, but not when you switch through the colors.

Would this kit cause Xbox light and the vibration motors to not work? Installed it and the kit works but my Xbox light and motors don't now.......

So I got this for two controllers worked great for the first one but the solder won't stick on the batt negative and its driving me crazy is there any other way to not solder the wires its driving me crazy with this second one snd I'm annoyed
It’s been a few months since I added this to my controller, it’s not a huge deal but whenever I change to the blue leds, the ones on the right analog stick are very dim and flicker whenever I move the stick around. They go to full brightness whenever I hold it in a certain angle. And then whenever I flip through the different setups, the leds swap colors (purple will be on with pink) and the same thing happens with other colors. How could I fix this whenever I could get around to it?

My A button won’t press down once I put those 4 screws in to hold the boards down (the board I stuck the leds on) , I don’t wanna continue if I’m going to have to take it all apart. Is this normal at this point?
First of all, the mod is very cool!
I installed everything like in the tutorial... But now I got a problem... And I don't know what to do, to fix my problem... Since I installed it, my rt and Lt trigger keeps putting out a signal, so I stuck in my menu, I figured out, that it's those trigger, cause if I push y the search menu pops up and the Lt trigger and rt trigger got a frame on the keyboard...

After i install this kit i can turn on with battery but i can turn on when using cable connect.What is that problem?
My controller wont turn on it has to be plugged up in order for it to turn on and my battery is fully charged
One of the metal bits that gives power to the battery is soldered down so I can't put the little metal piece under it

The LEDs we use are not with IC, and those LEDs with IC is too big to install in the controller :(

Sorry no, but some customer tried to use our Xbox One S LED kit works on the Elite controller, just need some mod on the LED kit.
Got to say I was disappointed with this one when it arrived, sadly. I don’t have a soldering iron (and I’m not going to buy one just for one job) so that left me trying to slide the connectors under the battery contacts. I got the positive connector under with some hassle, but couldn’t get the negative connector under - the gap just wasn’t there. Eventually, with the constant movement of trying to get the negative connector in place, the strip to the positive connector tore off, making the whole thing useless. So, sadly I wasted my money this time.
The video doesn’t accurately show how to safely make a gap to slide in the connectors, and to be honest I don’t think it’s a good method to use. It’s just too fiddly.
The DualSense LED kit is FAR better - I had no problem installing it. I’m assuming that there is some reason why it can’t be done on an XSX controller (not enough space?), but being able to plug the LED kit into the actual controller battery is far superior.

Same thing happened to me, the metal but for the battery is soldered down and trying to try and force it in teared the connector, now I'm down £30

What are the pros cons of both power methods?
When you don't solder, the power connectors could come loose. Then you have to take the entire controller apart again and reconnect the wires. The soldering method stays on, and doesn't disconnect.
^ wrong answer, its because the soldering method doesnt get power directly from the battery, meaning the LEDs can be used without having a battery in the controller.
