  • Living in the mountains has its perks when it comes to beating on your cars. FWD e-brake sliding is already hard enough, but when you can bomb down hill and keep up the pace, that's where it gets fun 😎

You whould learn more if you use less you're hand brake and more the wheight of the car to slide, its also more fun :)

My favorite thing about snow is it turns even FWD shitboxes into drift cars (as long as you have an actual handbrake)

Loving the winter vlogs! Got me a 2012 Mazda 3 i touring 6 speed manual, 100k miles ~160k km. It’s all stock, just a k&n air filter, oem+ brakes, “performance” tires for summer/winter, an eonon head unit, and I’ve switched to using “high mileage” oil. I’ve had to do the usual rear strut mounts, tie rod ends, control arm/ball joints. Think I need to replace bushings soon as well. Yikes. I’m running 15” blizzak ws90’s for my snow tire and they feel good so far but I can’t really get the bitch to slide like I want her to 😂 I understand you can only do so much with FWD and I’ve got a ‘21 Impreza premium to satisfy my true drifting needs but I wanna have fun in the beater too, I’d hate to fuck up the Impreza. Any tips? And as this is my first Mazda 3 and first relatively high mileage car, any advice for things I should watch out for or additional maintenance I’m missing? Thanks for the dope content!

Suspension is common to replace and it looks you've done well. I've had great luck by constantly having my MAF sensor clean, and making sure the throttle body and spark plugs are cleaned more often then usual. All said and done, have fun!

The perks of the mountains are downhill so you can carry momentum, but using the e-brake similar to a hydro can carry you around a corner as wel

Could you do a video of how to put a speed front and back bumper on the normal 3 hatch and/or sedan? I want to do that swap on mine but want to know whether it would easily work first.

It's not easy, a lot of cutting i've heard, if I ever get hands on bumpers then i'll consider!
