Agreed the stock tips on the HKS are bad. Can't say your change is any better.
I do like the fact that you tried to use a sound meter to give an impression of the noise comparison, kudos! I have the FI cat back. Would like to go to long tube headers, but concerned about the increase in noise.
The black tips are more for making it coherent with my blacked out aesthetic. FI catback is definitely the way to go. 👌🏼
Great content. Been wanting to change up my exhaust for ages. Didn’t look as hard as I thought it would be (famous last words) I need to swap out the cats as well as all the heat shielding is rusted off as well as the heat shield at the Y piece. I think I’ll go for the four axle stands though. 😁

If you add motordyne art pipes to this exhaust it’s perfect! 100% recommend it. I ran it that way before I went tomei and regret it doing it 😂

Just want to say great vid! I'm in Calgary and it's nice to see an Albertan with Z content! I'm looking for something just a smidge louder than stock with a deeper tone so this helps a lot! Oh, and I went from an FRS to a Z just like you so what are the chances!

For me, it's just perfect. It's quiet and borderline stock feel but when you go pass 4k rpm, it gets livelier. It looks good too! I'm gonna do a proper review next month so stay tuned! Thanks dude 🤙🏼
So i put this on my 370z. And it's so damn quiet. Unless you you floor it, I installed long tube headers and even now the exhaust is quiet, unless you floor it. So you might like it, you might hate. I wish it was somewhat louder.

I just installed mine yesterday and I have a little gap we’re the H pipe connects is normal?
Noice. I dont recall having a small gap tho. Make sure that the orientation is correct (i had to flip mine 3 times) double check the hardwares: bolts/washers/nuts and even the exhaust gasket. Last time you want is an exhaust leak, bud.

I had a 93 eg, b16a with an hks high power and holy shit was that thing loud. But sounded sooooooo good.

This exhaust Is so trash man... I regret buying this for my G37s Coupe... Honestly I prefer my Muffler delete way better.. even while idling it sounded so good, people at shows even said damn that thing sounds so good.. now I barely notice any cabin noise, I don't feel fast and shifting while it's quiet isn't the same

@@ItsEricVenzon cool, and u hear no drone from inside on this one? I am currently running on a muffler delete too, want to change to either HKS or motordyne.
@@hotsaucebone No drone inside and i's not annoying at all compared to muffler delete. The vq trumpet is gone. I believe motordyne is a tad bit louder than HKS if you want more sound. HKS is very lowkey.
